I came here with my 4 year old who loves caviar, so I was a bit nervous bc of her young age. The food all tasted really good, and my 4 year old ate a lot more than I anticipated. She loved the milk bread, katsu, caviar, chips and all 3 desserts. We ordered a lot to share, and service was amazing. We'll probably return the next time we're in town.

Happy hour is pretty good over here. Cocktails are $10 Caviar bumps are $15 I liked my sake sour drink that I bought two The chirashi bowl was good and has a lot of fish The oyster have this unique and tasty yuzu hogwash that I never had before. The oysters were plump and perfect. Not too small not too big. The katsu sando was perfect! The pork was a nice juicy think piece and had the right amount of oanko breading and katsu sauce. Of course the bouchoj bread makes it good too. The servers are attentive and it's a chill vibe.

We came for a Mother's Day snack before dinner, post wine tasting. Very indulgent Mother's Day but very well deserved! We had a larger party, but we were easily seated outside in their patio. Super comfy chairs, and also very low to the ground, great for the kids! This is a caviar and champagne lounge by TKG, so expect luxury and over-the-top service. Our server was very attentive, the dining room team kept our table bussed and neat, and food came out relatively fast. Tasting of Regiis Ova Caviar: a sample of 6 of the Regiis Ova caviar line: Golden Ossetra, Ossetra, Hybrid, Supreme, Siberian and Royal Caviar. Comes with the classic garnishes of shaved egg yolk, Crème fraiche, and chives, a bowl of potato chips, and blinis. If this is your first time having caviar, the Tasting is a must! You have enough of each to distinguish between the varieties, and enough accoutrements to try with and without them on each sample! Chirashi Bowl: Koshihikari Rice, Bigeye Tuna, Ora King Salmon. Fresh fish on top of a rice mixture, diced into cubes for easy scooping. A fine accompaniment to the caviar and flowing champagne. Hokkaido Scallop Cured in Kombu: The French Laundry Culinary Garden Hakurei Turnips, Buttermilk, Kaffir Lime. Don't let the fancy ingredients and name scare you! It's a scallop crudo dish, if you like sashimi, you'll love this. Paper Plane: a cocktail from the French Laundry not on the menu at RO. Fantastic grapefruitish drink, good recommendation. If you have time and money to spare before dinner, this is a perfect spot to indulge in Napa's finest!

Incredible spot to come after a wine tasting. This used to be a champagne and caviar lounge. The menu leans Japanese, and everything we ordered was SO good. We went with a group of 5, and ordered just the right amount of food (essentially everything on the menu haha). Most memorable bites: -the Hokkaido uni toast -the tempura and the green goddess dipping sauce that comes with it -the shio koji caviar ice cream -the Koshihikari rice Friendly and inviting service. It's a gorgeous and minimal interior, and the desserts were next level. I will forever remember this special meal!

I highly, highly recommend this place! AMAZING food and vibe. You have to order one chirashi bowl per person; you won't be disappointed. We came during happy hour and left feeling 200% satisfied.

You really can't go wrong dining at a Thomas Keller restaurant, and this one is no exception. About a year and a half ago, it expanded from focusing solely on champagne and caviar to offering a full menu -- and it truly shines. The cocktails and every dish we tried were outstanding. The wagyu beef was incredibly tender, and dipping it into the egg yolk made it even more flavorful. The ambiance is beautiful, the service attentive, and the entire experience memorable. I highly recommend this place.

I was most excited to try the Uni roll but was surprised by the chirashi bowl being my favorite. The caviar tasting was fun to do. Everything else was tasty but the fried chicken was a little underwhelming. The restaurant is lovely with indoor and outdoor dining. Staff & Service was nice.

We stumbled upon this as Priests Ranch was closed for some reason and what a pleasant surprise. We love it! From the moment we entered and got greeted by host to kind, prompt, friendly service . The seating both indoor and outdoor ample and modern. But most please was the food, everything was excellent all around especially the sirachi bowl. From the scallops to the little gems to the hanger steak, all were delicious. We will be back!

Always such a pleasant experience dining at RO Restaurant & Lounge. The ambiance, service, and food is consistently good. Their weekend happy hour in the outdoor lounge area is the BEST - amazing prices for high-quality ingredients and beautifully executed dishes! Thank you RO, I'll be back again soon!

We had reservations at another restaurant in Yountville that was running an hour behind. We walked down the road to find anything. RO was also packed but they offered us seating outside and extended full dinner service to us. The drinks, food, service and band were all A+++ The band even did our request to cover a Whitney Houston song having never done it before. All the staff seemed happy to be working there.

Champagne, caviar, jazz, Thomas Keller, what more could you ask for from RO?? It's truly the entire bougie package. We've sat both inside and outside before, and both provide different vibes so it depends on what mood you're going for. Inside is more intimate and romantic whereas outside is more relaxed. If you go on the weekend and for dinner, they also have a live jazz band! Do check their website for the schedule. It's Yountville, and if you're coming here, prepare to spend some big bucks. But it's so worth it because everything we've tried has been delectable. Their caviar dishes are always paired extremely well. I've also had some of the best oysters I've ever had here. Their non-caviar dishes are a treat themselves such as the big eye tuna & ora king salmon chirashi bowl, or the ribeye bowl. Basically, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu lol. Service is always consistent and good; the last time we went, our server/sommelier recognized us which was a nice touch.

RO is Thomas Keller's Asian-inspired restaurant in the heart of Yountville. We came here for their happy hour (4-6pm Th-Sun) for discounted drinks and light bites. We made reservations ahead for the outdoor lounge and were seated around a cozy low table with a wide and plush lounge sofa and two comfortable side chairs. Our server was very helpful with explaining the menu items and check on us often. We started with the chirashi bowl and the flat iron(steak) bowls. They were so good we ordered more. We also added the black truffle sando , uni toasts, and scallops with kombu. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated, but be warned, the tab can add up fast! The happy hour menu can look like a bargain, but because the portions were small, we ended up ordering more, so perhaps it would have been better to just order the full meal option. Our tab came to about $60 person and that is without drinks or desserts. However, it was an elevated experience and we enjoyed ourselves.

We had an early dinner at RO Restaurant & Lounge at 5:30 pm with our two young kids. We were walk-in and the host was really nice, even letting us store the kids' bikes in the back. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Bouchon Bakery Milk Bread was soft and buttery, and the kids loved it. The Charcoal-Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak was delicious and cooked medium rare, but we should have asked for medium well because it was a bit more red than we like in the middle. The Hokkaido Scallop Cured in Kombu was tasty but very small, like most of the dishes. The Grilled Black Cod with Matsutake Mushroom and Ginger Scallion Rice Porridge was good, but the flavors were mild and familiar, similar to other Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area, nothing surprising. The best thing we tried was the Hokkaido Uni Toast with Ossetra Caviar. For dessert, the Apple Chouquette and RO Dreams of Citrus Shaved Ice were both big hits with the kids. There are grape vines across the street, which made for a great photo with the kids. Overall, portions are small but the food and service are good. We would come back, especially for the uni toast with caviar and dessert.

The thing that is weird is we had to wait quite a bit of time for our food. This is fine but when the food came out it was not piping hot. Was the delay related to the expediter not get the food out as it sits on a counter? That is completely unacceptable.
