Super cute speakeasy feel. The restaurant and bar are hidden behind a book store facade. They are know for their drink menu but the food's great too! We had deviled eggs and two different salads -- all were excellent! Service is top notch. When you're hanging out at DIA in Terminal A give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Williams and Graham is a super unique place; it's a small speakeasy within the Denver airport located just around gate A38. There is usually a wait list; when I came in September I waited about 30 minutes so if you have a short layover or something I don't think you should bother trying to come. But that said, the inside is a fairly nice bar, and the bartenders are really nice! I like the library theme a lot. The hostess stand is actually right in front of a wall of books which is a take-one-leave-one set up if you choose to. The wall of books is the door, they open it for you when it's your turn to be seated. The menu isn't crazy extensive by any means but they do have a lot of classic cocktails and some unique ones. The day I came I had an Aviation which is one of my favorite classics and it was very lovely. The vibe of being able to sit and have a drink and rest a bit while watching the planes and folks outside the one way window is really unique. :)

Our flight was delayed so it was the perfect opportunity to try Williams & Graham. We didn't have to say a code word to gain entrance... it was a cute speakeasy outside an inside. They asked our flight departure time to ensure we made it (so appreciated). We shared the breakfast burrito and it was tasty! We opted for our favorite drinks instead of the house specialties and enjoyed our spicy marg and gin and tonic. Service was friendly and speedy. If we have the time we will definitely stop by again when at the airport!

I read about this place in an article about fun things to do in Denver. I've made multiple stops by the wait was always too long. Well, what do you know...it's not busy at 10AM. This was a fun experience. Drinks are interesting. Didn't get to try any food because they were switching to the lunch menu. During my visit, it wasn't too busy but there was only one person working. She was hustling but still took the time to chat and make recommendations on other things to do in Denver. Definitely chat with them if you're looking for other fun bars in town. Saw some people working so if you just need a quiet spot to get some stuff done, this would be it.

Finally had the chance to check out Williams & Graham Speakeasy during a six-hour layover at Denver International Airport after some flight delays and cancellations. A coworker had told me about it, so a few of us decided it was the perfect time to find the hidden speakeasy. After saying the secret words -- "I'd like to read a book" we were q welcomed into this awesome little spot after a 10 min wait. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic to the speakeasy vibe, and surprisingly quiet compared to the busy terminal outside. The drinks were excellent. We had a couple Old Fashioned, perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The aioli fries were a great snack while we waited out our layover and enjoyed our drinks. Joe, our server, was fantastic! Attentive when needed but never intrusive. If you have a couple hours to spare at DEN, this hidden gem is absolutely worth checking out. We'll definitely be back... might even start planning longer layovers in Denver just to stop in again.

Never thought I'd find a speakeasy at an airport, but here we are. As a book-lover and speakeasy enthusiast, Williams & Graham caught my eye as I explored Concourse A at Denver Airport. I was told it was a 10 min wait, but it was much shorter than that. Promptly seated at the bar. Brad is an awesome bartender, and I had a good convo with him. Was very pleased that absinthe is served here, so I ordered that. Apparently I'm the first one to ask for it neat! Good music was played, contributing to the ambiance. It was a nostalgic mix of early 2000s radio-friendly rock, including "When we were Young" by The Killers, "All Star" by Smashmouth (yes, the Shrek song), and "She's So High" by Tal Bachman. This reinforces Denver Airport as one of my favorite U.S. airports.

Hands down the best spot I've ever visited in an airport. Speakeasy hidden behind a bookshelf / bookstore. Great, fast, and friendly service, short wait time (~15 minutes during dinner time), and great drinks and food. FOOD: Brussel Sprouts (7/10): Cooked really well, but a little bit too much fish sauce making it a bit too salty. Burger (8/10): Well cooked burger and fries - great meal! Old Fashioned: Makes a solid one here!

Airport travelers -- STOP AND READ THIS! If you're flying through here, do yourself a favor and find Sam G and Travis. Hands down the best bartenders in the entire airport. Honestly? Sam G might be the best in the whole city. He asked what I liked, crafted a custom drink on the spot, and it was unreal -- truly one-of-a-kind. Then he asked my name and decided to call it "The Auston." I'm 40 years old and this is the first drink ever named after me... bucket-list moment unlocked. Food: I ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Hoagie and it was insanely delicious. Loaded with flavor, slight toast to the bread, perfectly balanced, and destined to knock me right out on this flight in the best way. Atmosphere: Come on... it's a speakeasy in the airport. What more do you need? Skip the other spots. I'll walk terminals on terminals just to come back here. Absolute gem.

I felt so at home in this cozy, calm bar. I was fully expecting a long wait due to the hectic holiday travel weekend, but wandering by, I could only see a handful of people waiting. I put my name down, and was called in within 15 minutes. From the hostess to the staff person who walked me to my seat, to Erik tending the bar, the staff truly made the experience feel like I wasn't 8 hours into a travel day. They were personable, friendly, and it felt like they cared that you were enjoying yourself. They were conscientious of my time, and even confirmed when my boarding time and how far my gate was. There was even an area to tuck your bags so they weren't tripping hazards. I stopped myself at one cocktail (Spanish Revival, chefs kiss - so refreshing, citrusy, aromatic, and utterly unexpected at an airport, though expect airport prices) and one dish (Big Sauce Green Chili Gnocchi - flavorful, gnocchi were deliciously chewy, and I would've been happy with the chili in a bowl all on its own). The dishes around me also looked really well done; you probably can't make a bad choice at Williams & Graham. I hope my luck holds out and I can find myself back here soon.

When I told my daughter that I was going to attend the National Safety Congress tradeshow in Denver, she sent me a reel / IG story about a speakeasy in the Denver International Airport. I must have watched it a couple of times to make sure I knew how to get there and was planning to visit upon flying back home. I had a great visit to Denver, finally attended the NSC, and we got to DEN early, but the guys wanted to go to the Amex lounge. - Boo and way overpriced, especially as I was a guest, and it cost $50 for me to sit there. When the fellas noticed that they had to get going, I replied, " Why? Our flight isn't until later", to which they said, " You're not on the same flight with us to Seattle?" I played the role and said that I must have made a mistake in booking my return flight, all the while knowing that I had just enough time to book it from Terminal C, take the train to Terminal A, and hustle my way to Gate 38. I said goodbye to the fellas and started my journey to Williams & Graham. I found the bookstore with a very nice young woman situated behind an enormous cash register from days long past. I patiently waited until she was done talking to a guest on the phone, and she took my name down, and I was hopeful that she was going to press a couple of the big buttons on the cashier for some magical moment, but that did not happen. I sat in one of those horrible airport chairs and waited for my name to be called. About 10 minutes later, she called my name, asked what book I wanted to read, and before I got the chance to reply, she pulled one book and opened the door to the bar space. So cool. It was private, had nice lighting, and a friendly atmosphere. What I really liked was the dedicated space for luggage and bags. One thing I really dislike about having a drink at a bar, pub, or restaurant is the lack of bag storage. Not an issue here. Bobby was very friendly and professional. I was torn between two drinks and was recommended to have the Spanish Revival. That was an excellent recommendation, so much so that the young woman to my left saw me leave my body in a moment of bliss when I tasted it that she ordered one for herself. There were some interesting items on the menu, but the All-Day Breakfast caught my eye, and when I read vegan breakfast sandwich, the ticket was punched and I was all-in. I enjoyed the Spanish Revival and my vegan breakfast sandwich, and quite honestly, the entire Williams & Graham experience was 10/10 off the charts good. It was a fitting end to a work trip and worth every penny. Not sure when I will connect through Denver next, but when I do, I will factor in some additional layover time for a Williams & Graham visit.

A friend had told me about this establishment, and luckily I had a trip planned a month later and was able to check it out. When I arrived, I was told there'd be a 45-minute wait--fortunately, that turned into just 10 minutes. Everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was tasty, though a bit on the pricey side--but hey, it's the airport, so that's expected. I also tried the French onion soup, but I wasn't a fan. It had some sort of protein in it that tasted off and overly salty. I brought it to their attention, and while they did offer to replace it, the menu was so limited that there wasn't anything else I wanted. Surprisingly, they didn't comp it or offer anything to make up for it, which was disappointing. It's located next to gate A38 at DIA. As for the ambiance--it's marketed as a speakeasy, so I expected a 1920s Prohibition vibe. Instead, the staff was dressed in Hawaiian shirts. Ha! *** One plus: they do offer a military discount, which is always appreciated.

We were on a pretty short timeline. The queue was a bit long, but not terrible. Eric took care of us in an extremely timely manner. My wife wanted a scotch - peaty and preferably islay. His suggestion NAILED it! She left so happy. Now, me? I can be a bit eccentric and snobby when it comes to my Martini.... Sapphire up - old school - plenty of vermouth, stirred, two olives. Again he crushed it!! It is a cool place, comfortable and just plane groovy. Next time we have a decent layover, this will be our stop.... even if we are not going to be in concourse A. He'll, I might well make sure we have a longer layover to ensure we can make it and try the food, too!! read more

Ambiance in a busy airport is unreal. That alone is worth the trip. But don't stop there. The cocktails are well made and delicious. Then add that the food is delicious! Stopping here on a layover (or flight delay) is a no brainer. My new favorite place in Denver. read more

Best spot at DIA when you have some time to kill. The french onion soup was great. Both bartenders were personable and engaging. Definitely the best service in the terminal. The dining area is separated from the airport traffic and gives you a nice quirt place to chill and have a drink or a meal. It gives a good representation for the business. I will definitely be checking out the one in Highland. read more

Lizz and Erik exceeded my expectations. Not only did they entertain me while two people came and went on my right AND my left. They genuinely loved conversing and took their craft seriously. I was nervous spending so much on a cocktail at an airport but after a few sentences and ending on a recommend off the menu take on a "Banana Foster" by Lizz, I am astounded!!!! I will be back, but only if the dynamic duo are working, sorry not sorry!! They created the best environment to beat my delay, I honestly hope it happens more often. If i could give 6 stars i would. The drinks were amazing, the staff was as professional as they come, and the ambiance really made my stay at the denver airport memorable. Please add a Yelp for the airport location as I had an incredible experience and want to highlight your wonderful staff. Firstly, I thought the restaurant was a bookstore, and it practically is, with a hidden door that opens the beautiful bar and restaurant. Here's the kicker tho, I sat down and asked for a glass of wine and Diet Coke. Bartender said no Diet Coke I said no problem. 2 min later one appears in front of me citing "I went down the terminal to get you some Diet Coke!" So thoughtful and sweet, meant a lot to me. Then I had the goat cheese salad and god damn it was good. I'm picky too, a hard salad critic; it was GOOOD. $13 for a glass of amazing Pinot too. Thanks for a great experience at DIA, this California girl will be back to hopefully review the airport Yelp for Williams & Graham read more

I only had 45 minutes before I had to catch my next flight so I was a bit worried about timing. I had to wait about 5 min for a table but had plenty of time once inside due to the efficiency of the staff. My delicious cocktail and food came so quickly that I had plenty of time to savor my cocktail and food without feeling stressed for time. I ordered the pour Lenore which was tasty... A sophisticated, less-sweet old fashioned served with a proper ice cube. My green chili gnocchi was amazing!! Just the right amount of heat. read more

Williams & Graham is such a fabulous spot at Denver International Airport. Once you are welcomed in through the 'hidden' bookcase door, you're greeted by a cozy vibe...the smooth music and swanky lounge, the perfect place to grab a good drink and food pre or post flight. Drink list is clearly carefully crafted, but was really surprised by the amazing burger. Who would have guessed my husband and I would find our new favorite burger at W&G at DEN. We will be sure from now on to schedule extra time pre-flight for a stop at Williams & Graham. read more

I've been to the original location in Denver a couple times and thought I would stop in to this location before a flight when I had a long day. I asked for a cocktail to go because my flight started boarding earlier than I had originally remembered. Alicyn was my server while I was there and really made my night despite such a short turnover time :) they also did a lovely job at replicating the original feel of W&G and at blocking out all the airport chaos! 10/10 would recommend to any travelers! read more

Put our name in with the hostess, waited an hour like they said. Saw people who put their name in after us get seated (same size party), and went up to check. They then checked and said they had no record of our name after they asked our flight number, name, and everything. Really poorly ran host situation that takes away from it all. read more

This review is for the Williams & Graham at the Denver Airport. Unwelcoming receptionist, long wait to get in to find 1/2 of the tables empty, no special vibe inside, if you order tap water over priced water it is served warm without ice, they do not refill water or ask if you would like another drink as they come by your table that has empty glasses, had to bus my own table as if you call them over for a refill they walk away leaving dirty plates, ordered one drink and served something different, and for the prices, do not go here!!!!!! read more

Obsessed is an understatement. This place is a welcome reprieve from the stress of travel. You don't feel like you are in an airport while you are. The drinks are amazing but Erik the bartender is an absolute gem and a true mixologist. Erik recommended the Spanish Revival (yes the ingredients scared me too) and it was AMAZING. Try it and you won't regret it. Will definitely be coming back on my next layover. read more

Food was ok, Service was sketchy. Price was unbelievable. First, the most expensive breakfast we have ever had. $18 mini bloodymarys each and two entries-$97 with tip. Asked for ice in the water, server said it would be extra. No substitution for anything, no cream for coffee. No choice for toast, only sweet hawaii toast. No butter or jam. Had to ask for salt and pepper, we got it with a snarl from out server. No military discount. And just to top it off, some kind of weird alternative music that was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. With all the places to eat at DIA( this would be my last choice.b read more

I chose this restaurant because they had Asian food and the menu looked really good. The restaurant itself was really busy as it had a bar inside. Plus they were showing the Stanley cup hockey games so I decided to order to go. Staff was not really friendly at the front desk but I did not let that deter me. I placed my order for pad Thai and the pork belly buns. I waited. And waited. And waited. Didn't hear them. Call my name so I went to check at the host desk to see if my order is ready as it was at least 30 minutes. Then they said that my food was ready and quickly obtained it and gave it to me. I was a little just worried and didn't try calling my name or anything as I was waiting right there in front of the host desk. When I opened up my food containers, pork belly buns looked really delicious and smelled delicious. When I open the pad tie container I was rather disappointed as there were nuts all over the bowl. I felt like there was more peanuts than noodles and tofu in here. Plus the flavor of the pad Thai was not right. I've eaten a lot of pad Thai in my time and this dish did not even come close to an authentic pad Thai dish. I did enjoy the pork buns a lot and the coleslaw that they provided was also delicious. The price I paid for these two dishes is not worth it. I did not care for the pad Thai whatsoever. For anyone thinking of ordering it. Take your money elsewhere.

A few minutes later, I watched him seat two parties who had arrived after me. I then spoke with another hostess and told her I was happy to sit anywhere except the couch. She even said she didn't know why I had been skipped. She went to ask the host, and when she came back she confirmed that he had intentionally skipped me. I also overheard him make an inappropriate comment after she questioned him about it. While I couldn't hear every word, it was obvious from the interaction that he had deliberately passed me over because I declined the original seating option. There is a huge difference between politely declining one specific seat and giving up your place in line. The host's attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. The other hostess handled the situation professionally and was kind, but this host's behavior left an incredibly poor impression. I hope management addresses how guests are treated, because no customer should be spoken about or treated that way. To add to this- I absolutely love the food here, however this is not appropriate customer service

Their smoked old-fashioned drinks were good, the Negronis were very crushable, as was its bourbon cousin, the Boulevardier. The shrimp appetizer that my wife ordered was also very good, and a nice starter before we had dinner at the English Pub. It's a good spot to experience sunsets as you knock back a drink or two, or watch the night sky, so long as it's not overcast or raining. If you look closely towards the ceiling-length windows, you can see the Denver skyline in the distance in front of the Rockies that dominate the landscape from afar.

The burrata was creamy and the salty and sweet components balanced the aged sherry gastrique and made for an incredible intro to a beautiful performance by the chefs. Next was another small dish, which I wish I remembered the description for (I need to bring a little notebook with me), but it was a perfect segue into the next course, the ibérico presa. Wow. Just wow. White asparagus has got to be one of my favorite vegetables next to artichokes, when done exceptionally well, as they most definitely were. The piquillo peppers and pickled shallots complemented the pork, which was so soft, perfectly. I definitely died and went to heaven at this point in the meal. This is probably when I should've stopped eating because after this point, still pure delight, but my poor stomach was soooooo full. Next was another small bite to lead into my next course, also incredible. Wish I could describe it. My next course was the European sea bass. Now, sea bass is my favorite fish of all time. The perfectly crisp skin, the red onion jam, the spicy sweet balance was perfection. I loved every bite. The olive oil potatoes were a perfect complement. And at this point, I was bursting at the seems... but I still ordered dessert, because you only live once and food is one of the great joys of life. For dessert, I had the crema. Our bartender (who was perfectly friendly and helpful) said he needed his manager to get the free cocktail. To be clear, we had literally no interaction with this woman at any point. So it's not like we did something to piss her off. When she arrived at the POS station - behind the bar about six feet from where we were sitting - she proceeded to complain about the "a-holes" (edited for language) using the Passbook and what a bunch of a-holes those customers were (not knowing we were in earshot). And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable. And doing it when the customers you're talking about are within earshot is the most offensive thing I've ever expereinced at a restaurant. You may go to Steuben's and have a nice meal, but just be aware that behind the bar, they're talking about what an a-hole you are.

The noodles are perfectly al dente and the broth with the toppings just works. The only small downside on this visit was that the restaurant wasn't busy, yet the wait staff kind of forgot about us. But it all worked out, so it wasn't a big deal.

Everything about our visit was fantastic! The Lemon Drop was absolutely amazing, and the Ukraine drink was just as impressive -- perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The malted fries were crispy, golden, and seriously addictive. What really made the experience great, though, was the staff. Erik, Travis, and Amarina were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny -- they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was upbeat but relaxed, and everything came out quickly and fresh. The deviled eggs were a bit pricier, the mustard seed on top added a nice original touch. Overall, great experience. Between the food, the service, and the people watching, it all came together. The views of the planes taxing to the gate was soothing as I enjoyed an espresso martini with my bacon burger. The floor to ceiling windows help bring in the natural light as you dine on your meal. There are outlets if you need to plug in your computer or phone. I savored the onion rings that had an excellent batter and fried to perfection, while the burger was on point.
