(side note, they have some of the best halo halo). halo halo the ice is melted shaved ice texture, not sweet at all, you choose either mango or ube ice cream inside, jellies, and rice cereal. (I'm going off memory here, so the rice cereal might be incorrect. just order it, you won't regret it!). soft scrambled egg with shrimp and rice this is in the rice plates section on the menu (I had to look it up, I never noticed it before). the sauce was slightly sweet but the meal was completely destroyed. fried chicken I mean; never thought it would be GOOD, but my boyfriend was so adamant about me testing it.. and it's delicious. crispy skin (almost like chips), juicy, flavorful, and with mangtomas sauce!! longsilog my tried and true? ugh, the suka too (vinegar), incredible. garlic rice? always a huge and delicious portion. god I miss it. bangus sisig bang-oose. milkfish for those that don't know. ugh, the jalapeno, tomato, lime!! and the flavor on this? I could marry it. it's also a favorite in the family, so we order this almost every time we see it. the skin? crispy. amazing every time. bangus silog someone in our group loves it even more than me, they got their own personal fish with egg and rice to eat with it. and that was DEVOURED by the way tocino silog honestly, the tocino was not giving its name. it's traditionally sweet pork, but it wasn't sweet. plus it was a little tough so this was one of the few times I saw my boyfriend (who ordered it), have leftovers AND didn't want to take the rest home. lugaw think hainan style chicken, in a ginger hearty broth, with softened vegetables, with a side of rice. this was a weekly special and just so happened to be its day of the week, whilst I decided to have a hangover. it was perfect - I want to order/eat this weekly. you're gonna come here for the gambling, but might as well eat some good food while you're here too. the service is always pretty standard, free refills on soda too :) read more

Colma Cafe, I thought it was something new. But this is actually the cafe/restaurant inside Lucky Chances Casino. Which I've had their food in the past. I remember the food being really good especially tho r fried rice. But this time it was just ok. We ordered a couple of their silogs( tapsilog and Longsilog), we also had got spaghetti and fried tofu. The Longsilog was good. But I'm disappointed at the tapsilog. The meat looked and tasted like it was a day old. The fried tofu was not crispy. We did love the spaghetti though. It was Filipino style spaghetti but it wasn't too sweet and the cheese went well with the sauce. We loved it. The service was ok too. There was no line and the food was ready in 15 mins. Came here with some friends around 2:30 so the place is just starting to slow down. We put our name on the waitlist and were quickly called to be seated. The restaurant is like your typical cafe style with counter seating and various booths. It was kind of loud initially but quiets down as people leaving. There's a sign in the wall by each table stating "1hour limit". My partner got the fried bangus (milkfish) and longanisa (Filipino sweet pork sausage) tselog, both were delicious. The bangus was fried perfectly and the longanisa was what we expected. I got the soft scrambled egg with shrimp rice plate and it was cooked well. It had good msg flavor and the eggs weren't overcooked. It's been almost 20 years, but I recently found my way back to Cafe Colma for some late night silog. Located in the Lucky Chances Casino, this diner has a fairly extensive menu and is open in the later hours of the night for those looking for something warm and more quality (than typical fast food) to eat. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was just as I remembered. The night we came in, the food was tasty and the service was speedy and attentive. We were a party of five who ordered all Filipino dishes (mostly silogs) and orders came out warm and fresh. I ordered the Comsilog with longanisa and tocino. Portions were just right and the food was good. Proteins were flavorful and tender. Ordered the eggs over medium and they missed the mark on those, but I understand over medium eggs are tough to perfect. Garlic rice complemented the proteins perfectly. The meal was exactly what I was expecting and wanting. Even though I don't live close by anymore, Cafe Colma will always have a special place in my memories as the go to spot for some late night Filipino food. Came eager at 9pm on a Friday evening for some comfort food Filipino silog plates. Was sat, given water, and waited over 15 minutes with no server coming to our table or taking our order. In the time we waited, a member of our party saw another group that seated after us get their order taken AND start eating. The rest of the staff did not address us, simply stared and walked past. We asked one of the hostess stand workers when our order would be taken and was told the server would do so. We decided to just walk out after being fed up. On the way out, one of the workers even asked "What happened there?" to a coworker. This situation may have been acceptable IF they were short staffed and they communicated appropriately, but there was ample staff walking around and no consideration shown. I have been craving Tapsilog, so that what I ordered. We had Pinakbet, Nilagang Baboy, and some Deep Fried tofu to share with everyone. Unfortunately, they only had Nilagang Bangus left so we had that instead. My Tapsilog is straight to the point: delicious beef, proper garlic rice, and egg cooked to my liking. The fried tofu was surprisingly yummy as well. And the Pinakbet and Nilaga? Well its as good as any home cooked Filipino meal. They are open 24/7 and I have found myself here at various times, and the food especially hits late at night or during ungodly hours. June 2025 - Party of 3 @ 10:30p Long story short, we walked-in the restaurant undecided whether to order for take-out or dine-in but since the cashier was in a bit of a rush I ended up ordering my two items for take out (Halo-halo and Tocilog). A minute or two after I had already paid for my order, we changed our minds and ask to be seated .. my bad! I then asked for the halo-halo to be served at the table instead. Anyways, the cashier said it was okay and sat us down in a booth. We were unsure but for what it looked like, it was a change of shift. A couple servers passed right by us with NO eye contact. We probably waited close to about 30 minutes by the time someone actually took my friends' order. Now, let's go back to my "take out" order, you'd think it would be ready after all we've been sitting down with our glasses of water for the past 30 mins which took maybe another 20 mins for my friend's order to arrive = 50 mins and still NOTHING. Where does the confusion lie?! There I was thinking the cashier understood the assignment but apparently not! :P Come to find out, they were hesitant to provide service because I ordered for "take-out" and that they will not be able to add a "table" service charge since it was already paid for. It was never our intention to cheat them out on an extra $5-$7 tip, if that was the case. We had such a great laugh out of the situation so friend left a 35% tip! Also, given that it's located inside Lucky Chances, always expect to drive around a couple of times for parking and walk through clouds of smoke! Despite the late hour, there was a sizable line outside, and we probably waited for around 30-40 minutes to get a table after putting our name down on the list. It's really packed in here, and super busy, with barely any space inbetween tables; a real old school dinner vibe. We got a lot of food to share, all of which was great, comforting food; be warned that rice comes in pretty large portions, and typically I would probably only half of one order here. -Tortang Talong ($15.95): large portion, and reasonably priced, this was pretty good! -Tapsilog ($18.95): Good garlic rice, runny sunny side eggs, though the meat portion was on the smaller side Lechon Kawali ($21.95): SUPER fatty, hot and crispy, this is great as long as you don't mind the fatty pieces; I usually enjoy it, but a good number of pieces were ALL fat, no meat at all. Sinigang Pork Spareribs ($19.95): this is VERY sour and pretty salty, so be warned. Good way to get some veggies in though, and the pork spareribs were nice and tender Ginataang Bilo Bilo ($9.95): nice creamy, coconutty dessert, but a lot of starchy sweet potato/taro bits, we would've preferred more sago Turon a la mode ($12.95): this was great, though not sure why it's called a la mode since there's Overall, a good place to get some of the classic dishes if you're craving it at odd hours, since this place is 24/7, but be ready to wait a long time to get seated and get your food.
