Sweet and sour fish fillet: average taste

Very average Asian American food. Nothing to rave about. Service is average. It's in a casino with old fashioned interior.

A café inside a casino serving Filipino favorites. I ordered the crispy pata, caldereta, and kare-kare. The crispy pata definitely satisfied my craving--I hadn't had one in almost two years! It was crispy, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. The caldereta was a bit sweeter than I prefer, so it wasn't my favorite. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the kare-kare. The peanut sauce was rich and delicious, but the serving of bagoong was disappointingly small. If I remember correctly, they charge about $1.50 for extra bagoong or additional crispy pata sauce, which felt unnecessary. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and our food arrived quickly.

This is actually one of our favorite go to for Filipino food in the bay and it is open 24/7! Having been here many times, we have not had a bad meal experience here. All the dishes we've had has been so good. Then again we stick to the Asian dishes. We've been here after airport pick ups, for lunch, for brunch, for 4th meals, and still can count on delicious food to fill our bellies. Yes they have an extensive menu, but we've never ventured outside of their filipino or Chinese dishes. Maybe that is the key? Their Sinigang is so so good! You can also ask for just sabaw btw, you're welcome. Mmmmm

Good honest food....feels like not in SF. I find it to be very unique in this area...like off-strip Vegas.

Came by Friday night around midnight and it was packed. I heard a lot about this place but never tried it out until tonight. Maybe it was an off night but the wet noodles were SO SALTY. Spaghetti was pretty good, tasted similar to jollibee. Basically no service was given besides taking our order, taking food out, and coming by to give us our check. They did not check in on our table and one of our dish came 20 mins after everyone else's. Pretty pricey for the meal, bill was $170 for 6 dishes. Overall, not impressed, very underwhelming.

Came here for late night dinner after an event since this place is almost open for 24 hours. Lechon (5/5); Not too dry and very meaty. Comes with great sauces Chow Fun (5/5): A bit salty, but I devoured it. Filipino Spaghetti (4/5): Not a personal fan of spaghetti, but it's great if you like it on the sweeter side. Garlic fried rice (5/5); Super flavorful. I love it.

Lucky Chances, Cafe Colma, might be my favorite part of going to an event.... this is my version of afters... After an event when my feet hurt and I am severely dehydrated, this is where we go. It has nourished me back to help and brought my soul back to life. Yes, it gets busy, but all good things come with time. The sinigang has my heart and soul.

Fried Chicken (Filipino style) is the best I've ever had. It's better than Max's of the Philippines fried chicken!

Adding Beef Ribs Nilaga to my favorite dish list at Cafe Colma where you'll love delicious Filipino, American and Chinese food, attentive, fast and friendly service in a busy, clean diner-feel vibe with flat screens

Came here with some friends around 2:30 so the place is just starting to slow down. We put our name on the waitlist and were quickly called to be seated. The restaurant is like your typical cafe style with counter seating and various booths. It was kind of loud initially but quiets down as people leaving. There's a sign in the wall by each table stating "1hour limit". Luckily, the food came out quickly or we wouldn't have make the 1 hr deadline We ordered the Belgian waffle, crispy pata and 2 meat combo of tapsilog and chopsilog with garlic rice and 2 eggs. The waffle was just average, something one can make at home. The meat was salty and dry for my taste. We all liked the crispy pata as it was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside.

This is a great diner family place. Super casual. Also a late night drunk place for those who end up out really late and need some food. You've got this place to rely on. Large menu! So many items! Filipino food, American, breakfast, cocktails, Chinese, a bit of everything! FOOD- The pork adobo had wonderful sauce and flavor. Great over rice, you choose plain or garlic rice. The two meat item Filipino rice and egg plate was good too, super oily as you'd expect. I can't eat too much of it but it's enjoyable once in a while. I like the Filipino sausage for choice of meat, wish they'd give me more than two slices DESSERT- The halo halo is amazing. Choose mango or ube ice cream on top.

Wonton soup with chicken added, not salty which I like

It's after 11pm and we were all hungry. This place rocks for a good hot meal whether it be Filipino, Chinese, or American food. Hubby got the Patty Melt, but wasn't what he expected. He said it was just okay. What shines here are Filipino & Chinese dishes for me. We shared a Wonton soup with chicken added. Chicken was tender and soup wasn't oily, dumplings were delish and not salty. Their Silog garlic rice plates are a solid choice that comes with two eggs cooked the way you like. No frills friendly service and the coffee & sodas keep coming if you need refills.

Came here late night for some food since I was jet lagged and it was one of the few options open. My partner got the fried bangus (milkfish) and longanisa (Filipino sweet pork sausage) tselog, both were delicious. The bangus was fried perfectly and the longanisa was what we expected. I got the soft scrambled egg with shrimp rice plate and it was cooked well. It had good msg flavor and the eggs weren't overcooked. It comes with a side of oyster sauce if you want some more salt/sweet flavor. The prices are a tad high but for the few options open late, it's solid. The service was nice and we didn't wait long for our food.

    Falepau S.

Cafe Colma is a great spot! The food is really good, especially their longanisa plates, and being open 24 hours is a huge plus.

Thanks to Alberto and the entire team, we had the best time, food, and overall experience. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy--packed with people and with guests constantly walking in throughout the evening--Alberto never made us feel forgotten. He thoughtfully checked in on us, got everything to us in a reasonable amount of time, and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about different menu items. He even let us know that, although he was busy, we should simply flag him down if we needed anything at all. At establishments like this that have such a high volume of customers, I honestly don't expect service like this. I expect long waits and to spend half the evening trying to find my server. Not Alberto, though. He was kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable from beginning to end. As for the food, I had the Pilsner and Joe's Filet of Sole, my friend had the Golden Ale and Joe's Eggplant Parmigiana, and we shared the butter cake with ice cream for dessert. Everything was chef's kiss, including the bread and butter! I would absolutely come back just for the service from Alberto. Five stars, always. You can never go wrong with Original Joe's, and Alberto made an already great experience even better.

Good service and ambiance. The space is modern, aesthetic, and clean. They also have a mocktail menu with lots of options. I ordered the Mango "A-Go-Go" Thai Tea, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. The food presentation was beautiful. I got the Hat Yai Fried Chicken & Waffles. I liked it, but I wish the chicken had been crispier and the waffle had been served hotter. We also ordered the Sweet Corn cake & Crab Benedict, which was creative and interesting. But I think I still prefer a more classic crab cake benedict. I did enjoy the subtle Thai-inspired touches on the brunch items, like the peanut-y sauce served beneath the vegetables with the benedict. While the food didn't quite live up to the hype I had in mind for a Michelin-recommended restaurant, I still really enjoyed brunch here. I'd give 4.3/5 stars if i could. I'd be open to coming back to try their dinner items, which seems pretty promising.

It looks random at first but at the same time, very unique. It reminds me of a dive bar for truck drivers from the outside and heading inside, it also gives you that feeling. It's a pretty small restaurant sports bar with majority of the seating being outside. I ordered their Sisig Manila Style, Sizzling Pork Adobo with rice, Lumpia Sampler, Calamari, and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. The Sisig is our favorite pick because it's fatty with that nice sizzling taste and texture. It's bold with a good flavor and pairs nicely with the runny egg. This dish is a must. The adobo was just ok. Honestly, it wasn't my type of adobo and was too watery, thin, and slightly bland. It just tasted like watered down soy sauce and light vinegar over shredded pork meat. The calamari was a big portion and went great with the garlic aioli sauce. I also didn't like the lumpia's. The lumpia was soggy and way too bland with little filling. It didn't have that authentic taste to them which was a bummer. I'd avoid this sampler. We thoroughly enjoyed their Ube cheesecake though! It was sweet, tasty, and had a nice cream cheese texture. The makapuno coconut shreds paired great with the cheesecake and made it so unique. We'd definitely order this again. Overall, I thought it was just ok. I listened to the hype and yes, it was too much. For those that aren't Filipinos or didn't grow up having authentic homemade Filipino food, you could tell the difference. It's almost as if the dishes are "Americanized" and lacks the real ingredients in the dishes. The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes.
