While at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, I was looking for a place to get batteries for a couple of watches and to remove links from a new watch with a band that was too big. How happy I am that I chanced upon Willow Bend Jewelers. Abid was courteous, professional, and competent. I explained that I wanted to do some mall walking while the work was being done. He offered to call me when he finished, which he did. What he charged was reasonable. Rather than having an across-the-board price for watch batteries which seems to be the practice at many places, one battery cost less than the other. Also, he did a very satisfactory job of fitting my new watch band to my wrist, which is very small. I definitely will go back to Willow Bend Jewelers and recommend this store to others. The service I received at Willow Bend Jewelers was exceptional. I took in a pair of clip-on earrings and an old, broken in half silver bracelet with turquoise stones for repair. Honestly, I really thought I'd be told neither was repairable due to their age and the materials. As the difficult repairs began, I was kept informed each step of the way. I was so pleasantly surprised how the antique turquoise silver bracelet was brought back to life. The stones were so dull; each one was removed, cleaned and polished. Outstanding job! Even though the price was more than originally estimated, it was worth it considering all the time and effort that was put into each piece. Worst experience ever. Traits of a con artist and shady business man. Tried to sell me a used 14k rope gold chain for almost a 1000 at first until i spotted the scratches on the clasp, which is obvious it has been used. No certificate of authenticity or tag or sticker on product jus a handwritten receipt. Now not even 4 months and 1 of the many links on the replacement chain is open, too much too soon. Tries to b nicest person b4 sale, afterwards attitude totally changes. First and last purchase. Stay away from this store. Expert, friendly Jeweler-owner on site in this independent Jeweler owned shop. The owner Abid designs and creates many gorgeous items in his store and has beautiful custom designs you can't find anywhere else. Abid is knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to work with. He examined a ring of a friend of mine and gave us his honest opinion about the stones and age of the piece and then cleaned it for free. Very beautiful brightly-lit shop in a convenient mall location, even though you have the experience of working with a local, independent Jeweler. Also does watch repair. Highly recommend! read more

I was needing to get some watch batteries for my husband's watches and decided to stop in at this store. The gentleman there quickly and efficiently replaced one battery and was honest to tell me the other one needed a part to get replaced and it wasn't the battery. Came into resize my watch and Abid did it in less than 5 minutes. I thought I was happy with the fit when I was walking out but then realized it was a bit tight, so I came back. He was more than happy to put a link back in my watch. Also told me that if i needed the watch resized again down the road I can do so without charge.
