I recently brought two pair of drapes in to be hemmed and Brenda did a fantastic job on them. It was a delight to bring them home and have them fit perfectly on my sliding doors and windows. I then brought in 16 tops that needed sleeve-length alterations and she also did excellent work on each piece. It's remarkable how much I am enjoying wearing these items because she took the time to make them fit well. All of my items have been completed quickly--one week in each case. Brought in 3 Saville Row suits I bought at Nordstrom to be tailored. The woman behind the counter said "what you want", just like that. I said I need the sleeves on the jackets shortened and the slacks shortened as well. She doesn't even look at my suits and said something completely unintelligible. I said 'I can't understand you'. She spit out something else I couldn't understand and I grabbed my suits and left. Sour look on her face, would not help from the jump. All she had to do was have me try on the jackets and mark where they need shortened, same with my slacks. She couldn't be bothered. Terrible experience, AVOID. read more

Seamstress made a mistake and first denied it then after realizing we were right gave us the worst attitude and arrogance imaginable. Really unfriendly to customers as if they were bothering her! Charges way too much exploiting the elderly who have no choice as this is the only cleaners in the neighborhood. Never going back. read more

My comforter lost it's soft texture after they cleaned it. Don't know if they dry cleaned or washed it, but I trusted them. They charged $50, when the competition wanted $35. The woman doesn't speak English, so I never had confidence they'd perform. Then when I went to pay, she says she wants extra for my using a credit card. I told her that's a cost of doing biz that she should absorb. The world uses CREDIT CARDS to pay for stuff, so don't trick us by putting us in a position that we have to pay you EXTRA to get our stuff back. Because she doesn't speak English, she wasn't phased. We've been with these good people for more than five years now. We haven't had alterations done. Their dry cleaning, super. The work is done well & on time. Brenda goes over the items with me when I drop them off. Great results on a wide range of clothing. There is a discount if you pay with cash. Switched my full size mattress pad with an old thinner one. Came back to switch and had to explain their mistake. Took lady twenty minutes to realize her fault. Had to pay $5 extra for larger item. Have recently started using this cleaners since I was having problems with another cleaner in the same area. The staff here are always courteous and polite. My clothes have always been ready when they said they would be and they look crisp and fresh. They have taken care of missing buttons for me without me asking. This is by far the best cleaners I've ever been to. I have been going to this cleaners for nearly four years now. It's owned and operated by a couple who are very friendly. I can tell that they focus mainly on the high quality care of their customers' clothes. Out of all the other cleaners I've been to after moving to Laguna Woods, I haven't found one that is as good as this one. They take out stains spotlessly, always have been perfect with my alterations and their service has always been really fast. I've taken not only my clothes, but also my rugs, designer gowns, and my sister's wedding dress. And I have not been disappointed with any of my visits. The quality of their cleaning service is exceptional; not really comparable to many other cleaners (speaking from experience). I came back to this cleaners after going to other ones because the quality of the cleaning of the ones I've been to is not the same nor as exceptional as this one. Also, every time I drop off my clothes, they always have it ready within a few days. I have also never had a problem with their stain removals of my clothes- I always bring in a lot of stained shirts. A cleaner's first and foremost priority should be the quality that they produce in cleaning the items that are brought in. And I believe they achieve that- all the clothes and suits I have brought in have always been thoroughly cleaned and left spotless. I'm content every time I pick up of my clothes because they always come back looking like brand new! read more

Worst cleaner ever!!! I was calling just to ask for price for dry cleaning and they hung up on me with the worst attitude. I'm surprised they still have business with this kind of attitude. Love my dry cleaners! Owned and operated by a very nice husband and wife team in the Willow Tree plaza. Some may think their prices are on the steeper-end, but after your first pick-up, you will understand why. I've been bringing all my stuff there for over six months now; they have never been late, they are ALWAYS friendly, and I always look great in my work clothes :). This review is in regards to alterations, as we have never tried their laundering or dry cleaning services. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We were in town and brought a recently purchased dress in to have it hemmed. The changing area consists of a chair with a curtain wrapped around the outside, very tight quarters and awkward for anyone to use. The alterations lady measured the dress on the right side only and then said okay, take it off. Thinking this wouldn't be a problem my wife obliged. After returning to pick up the dress we brought it home, our fault for not trying it on there. For some reason the dress was longer on the left side and the correct length on the right. We returned the next possible day and tried the dress on again and showed the alterations lady that it did not hang evenly. She proceeded to try and show us how the dress length was even and disregarded our request to fix the dress. She then agreed to fix it but then only pinned a guestimated length up from the bottom of the dress on the left side. She did not measure all the way around the bottom, which in this case is important, because then the left side would likely hang unevenly with the right side. After taking it off again, she continued to try and show us how what she did was even despite the fact that it hangs unevenly. Nobody is perfectly symmetrical but alterations should account for that fact. Ultimately, we decided to take the dress to our typical alterations place because we were not going to take the chance of making it worse. Our mistake for trying something new but stay away if you can. Wasted $33 on a hem and 2 buttons, with the hem needing to be redone! read more

I dropped some work pants off last Tuesday evening. I attempted to pick them up Thursday morning and was informed they would not be ready for one more day, until 5:00. I came the next morning before work. The signs on the door said they opened at 7, but the place was dark as I waited outside until 7:20 when I had to leave. Very unprofessional. read more

I went to this Dry Cleaner for the first time because it was close to my house and I had a $10 off coupon. When I walked through the door an Asian representative was quick to greet me and seemed excited that I was a new customer. She spoke broken English and I could not understand the price because she was not very clear. She even attempted to write it down but I still couldn't understand because her handwriting was not legible. She asked for my name and I gave it to her, and then she asked again and I gave it to her and spelled it out. A very simple last name. Then I gave her my drivers license for the spelling as well to make sure she had no mistakes. Next, she asked for my phone number and I gave that to her and she repeated the number back to me which was correct. When I left the cleaners, I looked at the receipt ticket and she had misspelled my name wrong (how is that possible from looking at my license) and she also got my phone number wrong. Very frustrating. When I returned to pick up my dry cleaning and had my coupon, the lady said that we do not except coupons. It was clearly written with the address and name on the coupon. The other guy there also came over but they both spoke terrible English and could not explain why they didn't take it but rather that they will NOT take it. I had 3 women's Jackets and 1 dress and the total came to $35.10. I thought this was very high and I will never be coming back again. The lady said it $8.50 per item. read more

They ruined 4 pairs of my pants. I have 4 pairs of pants I can't wear because they are too short. They don't understand English well enough to distinguish between shorten the pants and lengthen the pants. Even after I tried to make them understand (of course, after my money was taken), the woman walked away. I asked again if she could still help, and the answer was NO, and she walked away again.. I lost $50 and 4 nice pants. If you care about your clothes, DON'T USE THEM. I will NEVER go in there again!! I am still boiling mad. read more
