I had a burrito to go and totally missed a photo. When I tell you that they filled the burrito to the brim with rice, meat and other ingredients - I am not joking. Crazy generous amounts for their dishes and extremely well priced. Service was great, there were lots of kids when we were there, and it was managed well crowd wise. Mega friendly staff and cashier. It's been about a decade since I stepped foot into a Willys so I decided to give it a shot. I had one of the burrito bowls with chicken. It literally tasted like all the ingredients were dumped out of a can and thrown into a bowl. Literally had no flavor. I was disappointed. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was due to the extreme cleanliness of the store and how polite the staff are. I have always liked Willy's; since I used to frequent the Marietta location. But this Willy's? Yeah...this was my first visit and will, most definitely, be my last. Here's the experience: So, there is a Tex-Mex shop about a mile from this Willy's, but on this evening, we decided to give the relatively new place a go. What a mistake. We should have gone and got "Welcomed" at another place serving similar fare. We called in our order and when we arrived to pick it up, oh the fun began. I ordered chipotle pork in a bowl, with extra pork and various accoutrement. Easy-peasy order right? Um not so fast! First, they were out of pork. This is understandable on a Saturday early evening. Or is it? But rather than use the telephone number that is required to be entered when ordering to inform me that they cannot complete my entree, they, in their infinite wisdom, waited until we arrived to pickup our call-ahead order to tell us that they could not make it. So now, we have to wait. How difficult would it have been to call me and ask me to substitute proteins before I arrived ready to go? This waiting period, that should not have actually happened, allowed for some observations, such as witnessing what a food prep area looks like after a fragmentation grenade explodes near it. The chicken was about to be like the pork; gone, and yet the grill was strangely silent. On the floor, everywhere, were debris of tortilla chip. The plastic salsa cups were null and the salsas themselves were almost null. These things amounted to a checklist that solidified our thoughts on never returning. No second chances on this place. Now, for the kicker. Yes, this experience got even more colorful. My pork burrito bowl that was now a chicken burrito bowl was actually given to me as a burrito and not a bowl and despite having paid for extra protein, I receive the standard amount. This normally wouldn't be a big deal except that I get different things put into a bowl than in a burrito. What a nightmare. I usually like to say a place can have an off night, but this place just doesn't care. We will not be back. read more

When I purchased my new house this location had just opened and I was a little nervous about leaving my "old Willys" however, it's become our go to now for a few years. Great staff, clean, generous portions, and fast! I visit this Willys about once a week and have zero complaints about my service there. I consider myself a picky person and like my meal a specific way and they never disappoint or give me trouble with my order. Went in for a quick dinner for me and my four adopted kids. It's late and I admit I shoulda went somewhere else but they were super accommodating. The service was so wonderful that I asked to speak with the manager. I didn't get his name but He was tall and african American. He was very sweet. That was the worst waste of $30 for lunch than I can remember. The beef quesadilla was so salty my poor daughter couldn't even eat it. Even though she are about 1 1/2 pcs. to be polite. They replaced it with a cheese quesadilla which was equally disgusting. My other daughter and I ordered the tortilla soup. Yuck. Wayyyy too much cheese. My husband's burrito was fine. He doesn't complain. So, I'm not sure his vote counts. Queso dip was overly runny and not a good flavor. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I'm not sure how they have an appropriate health grade. Absolutely disgusting filthy. Went to wash my hands, and a male employee walks out of the women's restroom and he didn't flush the toilet no one greeted us and talk to us the whole transaction. I don't ever leave yelp reviews but I'm sick of this place. Worst managed Willys I've been to and I've been to a ton of them. The workers sat on their phones the whole time when all the booths were dirty. They also couldn't care less about how well they made the food. I live 2 minutes from here but after multiple times going to this place for the same type of experience, I'll never go to this Willys location again. We came towards closing time, were immediately greeted! They were out of tofu so they cooked up some fresh tofu for us. While we waited, we were offered drinks. We weren't there for very long at all. We were totally fine waiting on freshly cooked food. We were about to pay and they ended up having issues with their system. All in all, i felt bad for being there towards closing and them having to do a little more than they needed to. But they did. Kevin was the rockstar of the evening! If you have any sensitivities to good hygiene and sanitary practices during the Pandemic this place will FREAK you out! First of all everyone is wearing gloves and masks and it's buffet style so they stand over the food, talk over the food and serve to you. Who knows how long the food is sitting out in the open air? But I hate buffets anyway so. I almost walked out when the guy who was taking my order grabbed the front of his dirty mask with his gloves, pulled his mask up over his nose and then dipped his hands in the cheese and started making my meal. I almost threw up! Then when I got to the cash register (because I said OK Kelly just pray and eat) the guy at the cash register still had on his gloves and they looked greasy and dirty . So I looked at him and I said "Hey you're gonna take these gloves off before serving people right?" And he said yes. He scratched his crotch through the apron. Took my money and kept serving people with the same nasty gloves. My nephew was so excited about going to this place and making his own burrito. I couldn't steal his joy by leaving. I'm a huge Willy's fan, I go there all the time and I always advocate they're a great restaurant. I came into Willy's after working out for two hours and all I wanted was two bowls with rice chicken and cheese. And the rice was OLD and CRUSTY. I could see it when I walked in and the employees were just too lazy to get new rice because it was 8:30. There was weird sauce all over my food?? I don't even know what it was or how it got on there. I'm very disappointed and can say that Willy's did ruin my night. Tasted bad, just really disappointed. read more

I usually frequent the Norcross location and it's definitely 5 stars for a line/custom order place. This Roswell location is an easy 2 stars. I came for dinner on a Monday night, so not busy. The portion sizes were fine and the people said the bare minimum to me to get my order right. My main complaint is about the cilantro. It probably seems silly to most people, but for someone who LOVES cilantro, it's disappointing that I was pulling stems out of my mouth through out my entire meal. Do they not know how to properly chop cilantro? Someone just got lazy, I guess? Not only were the cilantro stems added to my burrito, but it was also like that in the salsa. The closest one to me is in Windward parkway yet still take time to go show this one the love it has shown me. Get these guys to HR and allow them to train fellow Willy's employees to serve just like them. I love Willy's. But this place is disgusting. Literally don't go there. Taco Bell is cleaner than this place. The floor is nasty. Every single table is dirty. The salsa stand looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week. Just... everything is dirty. The food wasn't good either which I was surprised by since I love the Willy's in Brookhaven so much. This place is terrible. I placed an online order and went to pick it up at the scheduled time. It wasn't ready, which isn't a big deal, but after 15 minutes of being ignored (I was the only one there) I asked if they knew when it would be ready and no one there would make eye contact with me or answer my questions. They seemed to have far more online orders than they could keep up with. If the location can't fill the orders, they shouldn't accept them. I finally left without my food and lost the cost of the order. I know workers are hard to come by right now, but this was beyond the usual post-COVID service challenges. Ok. We've been here at least 5 times. Food is always fine. So today we come in for lunch, place our order and ask for a medium cup of queso. We pay and I remind them that we ordered a medium cup of queso. The manager/cook? Not sure of his title. Says that "it will be a while". Ok we are half through lunch (10 minutes) my husband goes up to check on the status of our queso. They tell him 10 more min. COME ON!! It's one o'clock! It's lunch time. So we finish our lunch still no queso. So my husband goes up and asked for our $ back on the queso, which we get but what we don't get is "Gee, I'm sorry". The manager is hiding in the kitchen. Portions ARE HUGE (THANK YOU) But the chick at the register charged me extra for the crap that's suppose to come with the meal. When I questioned them, she got extremely irrate and I thought she was going to cut the manager when he corrected her!!!!! It's ok.
