I was hesitant to come here after some of the reviews, but, this Willy's came through like all the others. There was a decent line when we got there but they moved everyone through it quickly. All of the workers were courteous and the order came out great. I had a chicken Baja burrito and it tasted really fresh! The guacamole was clearly made recently as it had a really good flavor. I frequent the Willy's on Lavista Road in Atlanta frequently (more times than I would like to meet). I absolutely love everything about this place. The atmosphere is always bright (love all of the windows and sunlight) and clean. The food always tastes so fresh and is consistently delicious. I rarely have to wait just because the staff is so efficient at moving folks through the line. The staff here are all very friendly and just genuinely nice people. I have been going through a very difficult situation with a loved one and one of the staff frequently asks me about how it is going. read more

Every time I order at this location is always an issue. Example I ordered 2 quesadillas and dip for the free chips. Explain how they give you chips and forget to put dip in the bag. I was specific about what I wanted on my quesadillas and they still got it wrong. Always a wait for service even if empty, they always care more about on line orders. I have been coming to this Willy's since they opened, but during the Pandemic of 2020 we definitely increased our frequency. Their Taco Box feeds my family of 5 easily with leftovers. We always add the cheese dip and guacamole and we've started to add the yummy cookies as well. Their staff is always friendly and will even bring it out to my car. The restaurant is super clean and everyone is wearing masks. I'm always happy to see Charlie especially. He remembers me each time and is so friendly. I highly recommend this Willy's location. 9/29/2022 shortly after 8pm I received a verbal tirade from Shanice the shift manager. I have been eating at Willy's for over a decade. I have never been insulted and cursed out by any staff member. I'm a Willy's fan but I was so disappointed on visiting this location not by the food but by the service I received. I came in one afternoon with my friend to grab some dinner. I got a Grande Quesadilla and she got the Baja Burrito and a medium queso. As we got to the end of the line the cashier was hesitant to pass me my side of chips. Once i asked for my side of chips she told me that they ran out. I'm thinking that they had to make some more which i wouldn't have minded waiting for but to my surprise they ran out in the store. I then looked at my friend and told the cashier that she just got queso so will it not come with chips. She responded that she can still get the queso if she wants to but there are no chips. This is just so odd to me. I honestly probably would have went somewhere else if they had told me they didn't have chips, but they conveniently left that out when we were ordering and didn't think to even say anything when we ordered queso. Again the food is always great.... but I still find it weird that a tex mex place known for having a salsa bar and queso runs out of chips. read more

As I sit here I've watched 6 customers walk out. SIX!! This crew working was not prepared for the dinner rush. I should have walked out too when I saw they were practically out of everything. The pico was mostly juice, looked very unappetizing. The employees and management don't seem to care about anything. The effort is minimal. I come here a lot but now I think I'll think twice before choosing this location as my dinner choice. It's gotten progressively worse over the past few months. They then proceeded to make burrito after burrito while we stood there watching with no one in front of us. After the 3rd meal I had enough and we left. I stopped in around lunch time on a Tuesday. With about 6 people in the line ahead of me, I was happy that we moved through pretty quickly (10 mins or so). I was greeted with a smile and offer to help from everyone working there. I ordered the tofu bowl with an add-on of guacamole, which ran me a little over $8 and was more than enough to fill me up. I was a little nervous about the tofu (as it says on the menu that it's marinated in OJ), but it was delicious! I also suggest getting a side of the Alabama White Sauce. So good. read more

Visited this location on 11/1/21. Ordered grande quesadillas. The young man put the quesadillas on the stove and dipped the ingredients and carried over to the stove. He also kept wiping his hands on his apron even though he had on gloves. He also was wearing his mask below his nose. Also he threw the sour cream and salsa in the box with the quesadilla. The rice looked sticky, which we did not order. We figured he was in a rush to go on break because when he finished, we saw him go take a sit in a booth with his phone. Will not visit this location anytime soon. Not sure who manages this place, but help is needed in training the employees better. read more

I love this new location! I am not just excited because I don't have to drive as far but also because it is full of life and friendly people. I was waiting for this to open for quite a while and since it has, we've been many many many times. Even when it's busy and the line moves a little slower than hoped for, it's a great lively crowd and it is bright and cheery. Love Willy's food however this location has terrible service. We didn't even stay to order. I'd give a negative 5. The girl at the front ignored is as we walked in and had no guests to help. When three more people walked in the door, she slammed down a new container of cheese sauce in the hot tray, and exclaimed loudly, "I'd rather wash dishes!" Clearly directed at the customers in line of which she never ever acknowledged. At the same time at least three other employees are sauntering around the back not helping. She finally huffed and realized the crowd wasn't pretend. She rudely said "I'll take who's next...". Not wanting service from someone with such a poor demeanor we walked out. The worst experience I have ever had in any "fast" style Tex-mex restaurant, especially a Willy's. The Willy's franchise is always above the rest with service and this was the bottom of the barrel. At 2pm on a Saturday we spent THIRTY MINS in line, despite there only being five people in front of us. Trash littered the floor and behind the food line, as well as completely overflowing from from the trash bins. No salsa for about 20 mins then when served no spoons to serve it. At one point, with 13 people in line, there was ONE PERSON working behind the line despite counting six people working. Fingers crossed we don't food poisoning considering the level of care that went into everything else. Total disappointment. Horrible customer service from the manager! I went in to order a quinoa adobe bowl. First when I get there to order, I look down and the quinoas container has dried up quinoa in it. Then they say the next batch won't be ready for awhile. When making my bowl, I ask for guacamole and the guy says that's a $1 extra. I'm thinking surely they aren't going to charge me extra when they don't even have their own main ingredient ready. And I say this to him But alas, he does and he's the manager. New Willy's restaurant in Tucker, GA. Located next to the Starbucks on Lavista Rd. The food is delicious and very fresh. The management and staff are very attentive and provide very good service. I usually eat there every Friday and have never been let down on their food or service. I usually have the Spicy Chicken Baja and it is always on point. Normally when I come in I ask for the "usual" and the familiar team members get it right every time. Look out Moe's... Soon we'll be hearing "Welcome to Willy's." read more

I got a beef burrito and the meat was so salty that i had to throw it away. My nacho chips were burnt. When i called the store to tell them my issues Burt was rude to me and didn't seem to care.
