I got a canolli and sfogliatella.. It's the only spot I found in town with Italian treats you can pickup and go. The canolli was really tasty but it was very small and very expensive. The sfogliatella matched the taste and quality of those I had in Napoli, Italy. It was expensive though. The spot has a pleasant sitting area that's functional but not necessarily cute to sit in and relax. Not much to look at inside. Overall a spot to get your Italian fix if you feel like paying the prices. It does have a great selection of cheeses, meats, and Italian goods which admittedly I didn't try. It's a slightly expensive spot even for Newport which is already an expensive town to eat in.

I always grab one when I stop in, along with their croissants which are always delicious, buttery, and flaky. While the croissants aren't gluten free, there are so many other options that are, and I really appreciate that they always ask whether it's an allergy or a preference. That level of care matters. I can't wait for warmer weather to check out the farmers market and enjoy more of their amazing ice cream too. Thank you for being such a solid, welcoming local business. The place is very cute, the staff was very helpful, the selection was great and the treats were exceptional. I got the cinnamon covered muffin, lemon scone, and apple fritter. All three were excellent and the cinnamon muffin had a great flavor I've never had before. All the items were not too sweet and were flavored well. This spot is highly recommended.
