My previous visits at Wilson Creek Winery have been 5/5 experiences, but today's visit was very disappointing. My family and I arrived around 11:30 for lunch at the Courtyard Bar & Grill. We ordered 2 deli sandwiches and 2 pulled pork sliders meals. The workers at the bar forgot the chips that were included in the meal. (It was later corrected). I was SHOCKED by the terrible quality of the deli sandwich. It was basically just two large pieces of stale bread and hardly any filling. There was a thin slice of ham and turkey, a single piece of wilted lettuce, and a tiny piece of cheese! The deli sandwiches from Costco are more appealing and satiating than that! My family members who ordered the pulled pork sliders were happy with it. When ordering a glass of wine inside the winery, the server was not very friendly. There was a group of 3 that were doing a tasting and me. When I asked about the different whites, she appeared annoyed and obviously wanted me out of her section. read more

Really gorgeous winery and supposedly one of the few wineries that don't charge entrance fees. Came here on a weekend and parking was easy, they even had a little cart that they would drive around so guests didn't have to walk back to their parking spots and could get to the winery faster. I did sample some wine and they have a good variety, including some sweet wines for your juice box loving friends. We did also drop by the restaurant and got some appetizers to go with the wine. I did not like the bread and dip we got, and multiple times there were weird things floating in my water. I would eat somewhere else and just come here for wine. If you're not a member for this winery, the whole experience will probably take you about 2 hours tops and that's if you're really trying to kill time. read more

If you're looking for a relaxing hour or two of trying some wines while the kids good off in the play area I'd highly recommend this place. Brock guided us through our tasting. He was super friendly and welcoming. As a wine newb I asked him probably dumb questions like, should I try the sparking wine before the reds? (Answer js Yes), and he answered all my questions with a friendly attitude. Among the wines I tried were: - Almond sparking wine - Watermelon sparkling wine - Yea Dear Chardonnay - VS Cabernet Zinfandel They were all really good. First of all I want to say that this one of my favorite wineries. I was invited by some family friends and I love the people and the customer service and the owner and his family all so very nice people. But I was invited again but this time to ugly sweater day and there were a couple things I didn't like first of all the long line to get a baked potato was so long it was pretty ridiculous. And then so many people, also the last but the worst was that this guy that had the best ugly sweater that was made by his wife for sure was the number one winner everyone was just telling him how nice it was. I don't think it was Fairly done they gave him a bottle the same as all the others when he should have for something else especially if he was the number one winner. Beautiful grounds. Came here with my sister and niece for wine tasting and early dinner. The property is huge. It's modern and there are many places to take photographs. Service was quick and friendly. The sparkling wines were very tasty. We had watermelon, coconut, lemoncello, almond, sangria, and peach bellini. I ordered the fries with the Vineyard salad and my sister got the charcuterie board and my niece got the Broiled Caprese Salad. She also got the Creekside Burger with chips. We visited Wilson Creek on a whim when we were in the area one Sunday. We are big fans of the Almond sparkling wine and have been saying we'd stop by for a while. We weren't sure what to expect on a very busy weekend, but to our surprise we were able to taste right away. At the weekend price of $30, one tasting gets you 6 tastings of anything off their menu. Something to note: they are VERY generous with their pours, and we felt like our tastings were more like half glasses ... but no complaints here. ;) The staff was so incredibly kind and really let us take our time with our tasting, despite the crowd. The tasting lobby/gift store is large with lots of room and really makes you feel at home and comfortable. As we sipped slowly, we realized at the end we had been there over 2.5 hours tasting away. Everything we tried was wonderful and we ended up going home with a bottle of the White Cabernet Sauvignon and the Golden Jubilee! My one complaint was in the restrooms. A woman was heavily intoxicated and threw up a bit on another woman's arm. As she was cleaning it off, we heard the intoxicated woman break a wine class in the stall. It was very uncomfortable for both the woman who was vomited on, and everyone else in the very busy bathroom. It is such a popular spot that I'm sure it's hard for staff to police these things sometimes, but I hope she was removed from the premises afterwards. read more

Best winery out of all the ones i've visited in temecula, the outside ambiance is relaxing and service is great. We came here early around 10:50 AM on a Saturday, glad we did since it was super packed by 11:30 AM. We got the 6 flight tasting ($35), they specialize in flavored sparkling wines, our favorite was the white cab and the almondsecco. The restaurant opened at 11 AM so we went there after the tasting. For food we ordered the duck wings ($15), vinyard salad with salmon ($32), tomato braised chicken ($33), and pumpkin bread pudding ($11). Duck wings-small in portion and nothing super special, wish it was spicier (5/10) Vinyard salad with salmon-super fresh and salmon was cooked well, best dish here (9/10) Tomato Braised Chicken-also small in portion but good tomato flavor, polenta was a bit too soggy (7/10) Pumpkin Bread pudding-not very moist and lacking pumpkin flavor (4/10). I live here and Wilson Creek offers the best wine tasting experience! Plenty of tickets for a wonderful sampling of their wines. The servers are fun and cheerful and offer generous pours. Wilson Creek was beautiful, elegant, and fun. We planned a lunch for our sisters engagement, and it was smooth and breezy. We were able to set up, mingle and have a sort of cocktail hour before the food was served which was nice to get to know our other side of the family. Shoutout to Adaline at the bar who was great and Brenda for coordinating this event. They then served their food that consisted of barbecue chicken, salad, coleslaw, beef, corn on the cob and a strawberry crisp, which I thought was delicious. The only thing is we could not take the food home apparently because of the risk of getting sick, which I didn't completely understand. First time visiting this winery in Temecula and I fell in love with it. From the moment you park and start walking to the venue, I felt a sense of being welcomed, a transport cart was available for the short ride to the main entrance. The driver was down to earth, friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. He recommended a few well known wines, which was extremely helpful considering it was our first time there. The entrance is beautiful, well kept and a breathtaking. Food options are charcuterie box, nachos, salads, pizza and sandwiches. The nachos are delicious. I highly recommend. There were many people at the venue, it wasn't over crowded so there was no issue on my end. I was a bit surprised to see children at a winery but also, pleased that a winery allows families to enjoy the experience. It seems like a very popular winery. There's so much to do, see and so many wines to try. The sparkling almond was my absolute fave, I purchased a bottle for our table at the end of our wine tasting. I don't have a downside to my review, only thing I will recommend is don't get your vehicle washed prior to visiting because the parking area is a little rocky and dusty. read more

It seems like my friends and I were targeted from the beginning even though we were having a light day just to take pictures hang out and drink a little wine. I was embarrassed that I even brought my friends to this location when there were so many other beautiful wineries in the area. I would recommend to go to Callaway or Altisima instead. Also an interesting seasonal spiced one which tasted more apple cider+wine than anything else but it was still delightful in the cold rainy weather.
