Always a fun time at Wilson Creek Winery. Decided to try their restaurant, food was decent. The only downside was it was difficult to track down our server. Had the beet salad with salmon which was delicious. The apps - sausage and the skewers were just okay. After lunch, we went over to wine taste and had such a fun time. Definitely the Disneyland of wineries , a fun time was had. Will definitely be back next month . read more

Just checking off another spot on the wine trail! Today's mission was to find a good wine, and I stumbled upon this gem that I honestly didn't expect to be so peaceful. It's not overcrowded, which made the whole experience even better. The property has everything from hotel, spa, food, wines to a cute gift shop. It's the kind of place where you can really unwind. I loved both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. There's even a designated cigar area outside and a tucked-away private spot by the creek which is a nice touch. I ended up becoming a wine club member because I really enjoyed their white wines. Chris helped us get signed up for the membership. The only downside? Someone definitely needs to do something about the mosquitos, just a little bug in an otherwise beautiful experience. Other than that, this winery is a must-visit if you're looking for a place to sip, relax, and take it all in. read more

I got wasted here. I'm talking double deckered sloshed on a Saturday at 2pm. I had to literally sober up before going back to my hotel - Would I do it again ? ABSOLUTELY This place had such a selection of wine, it had sooooo many people, and it was really cool to see just how many people enjoy the vibrant lifestyle of day drinking at this winery. 10/10 would go back but I need a squad to go with, going with my partner made us want to go back with more people !! Love the service and of course the wine lol here. We went wine tarot last Friday and it was pretty quiet evening at the winery. Chris was helping and was super friendly and helpful with the new recommendation of red wine that wasn't on the tasting list. It always makes the experience great when our wine bar server is interactive and loves his job. We love the peach Bellini and was introduce to the Pina colada selection. Both are not too sweet and bubbly, so refreshing to have at home. We can't wait to be back read more

Solid spot to visit on a trip to Temecula, easy place to start with if you aren't sure how to go about wine tastings at nice wineries. This place felt very much like the amusement park of wineries - plenty of seating, good for families and hosting your own little group, solid food. We tried the famous wine slushie and it was good but very sweet! Overall the winery was very busy but the people watching and sipping wine while eating some of the quick service food was nice! read more

I have always wanted to check this place out since I am a fan of the Almond Wine they have. My friend booked a Wine Tasting Tour for us. We got lucky and were able to catch a ride on the Golf Cart. The driver was busy at first and promised to come back around and definitely did. He was very friend and nice. We enjoyed our time w/ our guide Detroit Mike, he showed us some cool spots and had a lot to share-including songs! The snicker doodle combo drink he made was very unique and tasty! We were hungry afterwards and should have maybe made reso at the restaurants since it seemed busy and there was a 20 minute wait. When we were waiting, we were just messing around and I said loudly (not screaming or out of control, at all!) 'THE PARTY IS HEREEE!!!' It seemed like immediately after that a Security Guard came over out of no where and said something along the lines of I'm glad the party is here but keep it down. It was like 2 PM and me and my friends were not rowdy or crazy, at all so that was a surprise. read more

What an absolutely wonderful spot to spend a relaxing afternoon! Even though I'm not much of a wine drinker (my body doesn't handle it too well), I still had such a great time at this winery. The entire property is beautiful -- sprawling vineyards, charming outdoor seating areas, and a cozy tasting room with plenty of natural light. It has that laid-back, countryside feel that makes you want to stay for hours. I was pleasantly surprised by their lunch menu too. There were a lot of fresh, seasonal options and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel genuinely welcome, whether you were a wine enthusiast or not. Growing up in the Bay Area, I've always been familiar with iconic local names like Concannon and Wente, and I have to say -- Wilson Winery absolutely holds its own alongside them. The setting, atmosphere, and hospitality were all top-notch. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, leisurely day surrounded by vineyards. I always like coming to Wilson Creek Winery! It's definitely my fav winery to go to. It's so much fun with entertainment and many good options, plus a nice restaurant with good options to choose from. We came on a Saturday and it was so packed and live. It was perfect! With good tastings to choose from. It's only $30.00 for 6 tastings, which was a very good price. My fav was the Peach Bellini! Much variety and menu to choose from. They have tastings outside and inside. If you want tours it's $40 per person and it's 3 times out of the day. They also have the Library Tasting, which is fairly new and can be reserved just like the tours. It can be a group as well. Overall, I think this winery is good and fun! It's very sophisticated and good vibes for sure! Kid friendly too! Plus a lot of seating areas. I can't wait to come back! The lot for parking is huge so it's a lot of parking for ya! My husband and I were in Temecula for our 10 year anniversary and Wilson Creek was the top recommendation from our friends to check out. We came on a Wednesday afternoon to check out the winery and have some tastings. I love tbe very country yet modern feel of the winery when you walk in. The outside is absolutely gorgeous and love that the cater to families as they do have a playground set for children. We got lucky enough to snag a 2 for 1 tasting. We purchased a tasting card for each of us at the register and went right to work. Our server was Jarin and he was fantastic. He explained what sparkling wines Wilson Creek was known for as well as explained which wines we would like depending on our wine preferences. I loved all of them. We ended up buying quite a few bottles as well. This was by far the best winery we experienced during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable with their wines. They even had my husband who isn't a "wino" love some of the sparkling wines we sampled. read more

Food and wine - 5/5; atmosphere 2/5 I went to Wilson Creek Winery for the first time over a weekend. I suggest coming here for casual fun, not for a date. Pros - beautiful grounds, good food, food wine. There's lot of seating around both in the restaurant and out in the courtyard. I really enjoyed this special red wine from their most fruitful vine (sorry can't remember the name), and the chocolate dessert wine. I also enjoyed the peach Bellini later at the restaurant. There's a few vegetarian options which is also great! Cons - it is the busiest winery I've been to, which speaks to the quality of their selection but does impact your experience. It was so crowded when we arrived it was like finding parking at a concert or amusement park. Similarly entering the winery, it was shoulder to shoulder, crowded both inside the main store and throughout the courtyard. Our tour group was so large, that we started late and the tour guide seemed frazzled as large groups kept getting added onto our tour. It took us 30 mins just to leave the lobby and back patio to actually start walking, and because our group was so large she had to keep going back to the main lodge to get more wine than what her tiny tote could carry, delaying the group each time that occurred. I also wish we had known just how many kids are there. Totally understand having a family friendly place, but if we had known we might have gone elsewhere because we didn't really have a "valentines day experience" compared to other wineries in the area. read more

Wilson creek has a wonderful ambiance, and is a great winery if looking for a place for a large group! They even had live music playing, which was a super nice touch while we enjoyed our wines. The outdoor space is huge. Has a building to order food from. The tasting room is big. There are plenty of wines to taster as well. The man conducting our tasting was very nice and had great recommendations for which each of us should try. The downside is the restroom. Not your local botique winery! My BFF enjoyed Wilson Creek's Almond Sparkling Wine so what better place to visit on her birthday weekend? Beautiful surroundings and layout. Extremely commercial but a worthwhile stop if you are wine tasting. Your wine tasting fee is $25 for 6 varietals. They send you to a bar area where the wine pourer is there to deliver what you purchased. Their schpiel is what was most popular of all their variety. So, if that's what you're looking for then this is the place to visit. The grounds are beautiful and is a great venue for a wedding, reunion, anniversary or things of that nature. While I didn't see a price list for their venue, I'm sure it would be a decent price; like their wines. If you are looking for "Wine Tasting" and "Wine Education", I'd search elsewhere. Such an amazing experience! We had an absolutely amazing experience and can't say enough great things about Brian, Shane, Anthony, and Tank! Brian was our tour guide and he was incredible -- knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience so enjoyable from start to finish. I was in Temecula for the weekend visiting my family and they brought me to Wilson Creek. The venue is spacious and there was a beautifully diverse atmosphere. My cousin is a member and one of the perks allows her to bring guest for tastings. We had a great time sampling some of the wines they have to offer. We had an amazing guy pouring for us named Mossi. He was super informative and knowledgeable. He made great suggestions for someone like me Is a bourbon drinker and know absolutely nothing of wine. This winery is always a go-to when I'm in Temecula! They have everything here in one spot! It's one of the larger wineries, so if you're looking for a more intimate experience or location...this isn't the winery you're looking for. This location is always such a fun time! They have plenty of bars you can go to to refill your wine glasses. Their wine tasting is $30, and you get 5 tastings of your choice! The bartenders are so chill and down to earth and seem to really love what they do. Photo ops everywhere, a restaurant and TONS of seating! To our surprise, there were kids and babies everywhere. So, if you want to bring your kids, they are welcomed....OR if you want a winery that doesn't have kids, look elsewhere. We saw birthday celebrations, proposals and more! Be careful, we only planned to spend 2 hours here and ended up spending the whole day here (& missed our other winery reservation) because of how much we enjoyed it. :) read more

Ok so this is going to be my final time reviewing Wilson Creek because I will absolutely not ever go there again after yesterday . The amount of kids at this WINERY yesterday was outrageous. It was like being at Disneyland! A winery is not someplace to bring your kids and let them wander the grounds aimlessly while other ADULTS are trying to enjoy themselves. The staff does nothing while kids are running around.. they are at the bars.. newborn babies... it's absolutely insane. I have several pictures of the hordes of kids but I don't want to post peoples kids. I have said this before.. the winery is not a children's place. Wilson Creek you really need to get this situation under control. I'm sure you don't care, but you have lost a long time patron. read more

The tasting was $30 when I went on a weekend. I believe it is a lil bit cheaper on weekdays if anything and it comes with 7 tastings.

We got a table that didn't have a view and instead it was in the middle of the patio dining area. There were so many other guests around us and it was loud. At least it was shaded and I think there were misters...? So that made things enjoyable in terms of the heat. We ordered their pitcher of White Sangria (which was somewhere around $42-$48). It said there was going to be peach in the batch with other fruit. The result was frozen berries in a very water downed pitcher if white wine and ice. I hate to say this, but I have had better White Sangria at The Olive Garden. The one I make at home was 100 x's better. For food we ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was huge! That was a very impressive display of cured meats and cheeses. Totally loved the pickled vegetables! We also ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oaxacan Pepperoni & Honey Flatbread, and Truffle Garlic Fries (I think they said "truffle," but I could ne wrong because all I tasted was garlic and parm). The Mushrooms were delicious! I would order that dish again, but then again I am a lover of mushrooms. At the end, I was surprised to not get any Bach party recognition. Most of the places we went to, my girls and I got perks for the celebration. I mean the hostess didn't even wish a "Congratulations." At least she was nice to get a group shot with the beautiful sunset. I am usual a 5-star giver and I feel bad giving this place a 2-star. Luckily some of the food was actually good, so thank goodness a 3-star is the final result. I mean Miramonte did set our bar very low for the rest of the wineries thus making the other ones we went to on our trip were supreme -- which were Akash and Ponte. Both Akash and Ponte were aaaaaaamazing!

This type of winemaking differs from traditional wines because large ceramic vats are used in the winemaking process. Our tour guide was Hunter. He was very knowledgeable about the different varieties of grapes on the vineyard and was also able to describe how the vines grow, are trained, and pruned. He also explained the bottling process to us. After the tour, we returned to the tasting area where we met Kyle. He was doing a great job managing a bachelorette party. Both Kyle and Hunter kept it light and professional. The vineyard offered a great deal on a case of wine. Luckily, we drove out so we have a case to take home. I would recommend this place.

Customer service is not just about enforcing rules -- it's also about treating customers with kindness and patience. If you care about animals or people, don't spend your money here!!! This was our favorite vineyard in Temecula and we visited often until last Sunday. Now, I definitely will never go back. I saw the most horrifying thing. I was sitting in the back garden with my friends and one of our friends brought their dog. The dog was a small little black fluffy mix that was sitting attached on a leash beside them. "Cabernet" who is the Wilson's dog came running up and scared the poor little dog. When her dog went to stand up, the beautiful Golden Retriever that is owned by the Wilson's attacked it. The Golden Retriever (who we had seen on many occasions previously) bit into the dog's neck, viciously shook it back and forth, and almost killed it. The dog was screetching and writhing in pain. My friend jumped up and tried to pry her dog out of it's mouth. Finally she succeeded and at the same time a Wilson Creek employee started screaming at her that "dogs are not allowed here." We just witnessed their dog attack and almost kill the poor little dog and instead of seeing if my friend's dog was going to survive, she screamed at us to get it out of there. The other people in the garden were staring dumbfounded. What type of person would scream at someone whose dog was just attacked by the vineyard owner's dog. She did not come to see if the dog was ok, she just took the offending Golden Retriever inside. While her cousin took the poor little injured fluff to get care, my friend went to talk to the owner but the employees said the owner was not there. Several employees began to scream at my friend and tell her "dogs are not allowed." I could understand if there was one ignorant employee but out of seven of them NOT ONE had the decency NOT to be rude and mean. No one cared about the poor little piece of fluff that their vineyard dog attacked and no one had any sense of human decency. Seven different employees told her it was her fault in several different ways: 1) for bringing her dog into the garden (even though there are dogs in the garden very frequently); 2) because her dog growled (when he was scared by the large golden retriever who proceeded to attack him); and 3) because she didn't tell the dog to go away??? I saw the whole thing and there certainly was no time to "tell the dog to go away." My friend was so visably distraught and shaking when she left that place because it was such an incredibly horrifying experience and not one of the employees did anything to help and instead they verbally accosted her WHEN it was their dog who almost killed her little pup. DON'T GO HERE. They are a bunch of phonies. They use their dog as a marketing ploy but they could care less about people or animals. When I talked to her the next day, my friend said that she called again to talk to an owner and the vineyard owner did not offer to pay the vet bill but instead said how much they love dogs and were upset about this (but at that point would do nothing to remedy the situation - such as paying for her dog's medical care that resulted from the attack). read more

I am writing this review to share my recent experience with the wine club I joined in October. As per the agreement, I was informed that I would be charged bi-monthly for the membership, a term to which I have adhered. A few days later, I received a newsletter from the winery promoting a complimentary event for wine club members - the Annual Ugly Sweater Party. Given the assurance that the event was free, I registered for it, intending to attend with my spouse. However, I was subsequently charged $444.49 for this "free event". Upon discovering this charge, I immediately contacted the wine club to inquire about it. It was brought to my attention that several other members had experienced the same issue. I forwarded a screenshot of the charge to their accounting department and spoke with a representative named Brian, who acknowledged that the company is transitioning between POS systems and that a glitch may have occurred. He assured me that a resolution would be provided within 24 hours. Regrettably, despite my follow-up the next day, no resolution has been offered. Brian directed me to his superior, Michael, but I have yet to receive any communication from him regarding this matter. Brian's suggestion to file a claim with my credit card company is not feasible, as it would involve disputing all charges from the company, including the legitimate membership fee. It has now been over a week and a half since my initial contact, and despite numerous attempts to reach out and several assurances, I am still awaiting a refund. If this is indicative of your business practices, I am compelled to reconsider my membership. I have always held the winery in high regard, and it is disheartening that my experience has been marred by this incident. I trust that this review will be brought to the attention of the appropriate party and that my hard-earned money will be refunded promptly. I hope that future patrons will not have to face similar issues. I am disheartened by the lack of resolution from an establishment of this stature. read more

From our first meeting, Rose, our event sales manager was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Our day of coordinator, Rachele was incredibly organized and helped bring our vision to life, ensuring every aspect of the wedding day was executed flawlessly. Jeremy and the event team were top notch with their meal service, ensuring all our guests were taken care of, including those with special dietary needs. Our guests were raving about the quality and presentation of the food and wine selections. Moreover, the entire event team demonstrated genuine care and consideration for our guests' comfort and enjoyment. They made sure everyone had a memorable and enjoyable time. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. I cannot believe the caliber of employees this place hires. Absolute white trash and disgusting. I came in with a group of 10 for a birthday party. This weekend was the wine festival and a very noisy, busy weekend in general. We purchased our tastings and socialized. Although it was crowded and loud inside, I was approached by a large woman who came out of nowhere to inform me I was being too loud. I apologized and said I would keep it down. There was also a large dog that was walking around. I am an animal lover myself, but this dog was walking between patron's legs while they are drinking. Not so smart if you think about liability. I almost tripped over this animal, as did others around me. I mentioned this to the large woman who screamed back at me that this dog belongs to the owners of the winery and how dare I complain!? Soon after our tastings were complete, my friend and I went to the ladies room. Only once we were inside did we notice we had been followed by two employees, one of them being the large woman. They proceeded to bang on the door of the restroom while we were using it and accused us of being belligerent and drunk. They then called the police because they said we were "drunk in public." One of the large women even asked our limo driver to surrender his driver's license. What kind of ridiculousness is that? Once the police arrived and gave me a field sobriety test I was released no questions asked. These women obviously targeted a group of young attractive females because of their jealousy. I was grossly upset and disappointed, not to mention embarassed by the unnecessary scene they caused. I advise everyone not to patronize this sorry excuse of a winery. There are far better places. We had an excellent time at Falkner and Ponte! read more

Would not even give this place a one star, but had to so that I can leave a review. My Husband and I cancelled our wine membership due to the fact that our Daughter, upon a visit with friends , was horribly discriminated against by several employees including their unprofessional "rent a cop" security. My Husband and I would enjoy the somewhat quiet atmosphere on a Friday or other weekday because the weekends resembled an overcrowded Vegas hotel pool, classless women with their choice of wardrobe & music blaring where you cant hear a conversation. Wilson Creek went down the creek, and because of our Daughter's treatment and the atmosphere we are OUT OF THERE. read other's reviews and you'll see we aren't the only one that feel that way. Before you respond with your inadequate excuses for your employees regarding our Daughter's treatment there a few weeks ago, I would appreciate ( at the very least ) some form of communication via a phone call so that you can get the facts straight & to give me an answer as to why my Daughter was told " you look like trouble " when she was checked in at the door by an older lady. A member of my Daughter's group is in law enforcement & witnessed everything ( in case your security again, wants to make accusations of her being drunk because she became I'll after tasting the pasta dish which tasted sour like vinegar ) I would again read some of the reviews posted about the treatment of some patrons and about your food at the restaurant causing illness to some. Pay attention to your bathrooms where there are people throwing up or using the men's room because the ladies room line is too long. Wineries are a dime a dozen in Temecula. I had the most lovely experience at Wilson Creek Winery while celebrating my birthday with my husband, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of charm. While the vineyard didn't have rows of grapes in bloom, the lush greenery still made it feel like a peaceful escape. So serene and beautiful in its own way. We kicked off our celebration with their famous almond mimosa, and wow! It completely lived up to the hype! Light, crisp, and perfectly sweet with a subtle nutty flavor, it was absolutely delicious. Then we tried the peach Bellini sparkling wine, and it was just as amazing. It was fruity, bubbly, and refreshingly smooth. Honestly, both drinks were such highlights of the day. The winery itself is stunning, with a perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern touches. There are cozy seating areas, plenty of photo-worthy spots, and a really friendly, relaxed vibe that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was spotting dog poop along the vineyard walkway, which was a little disappointing given how well-kept the rest of the property was. Hopefully, just a small oversight that'll be quickly taken care of. That aside, Wilson Creek was such a beautiful place to spend my birthday, and I'm already looking forward to going back. On Sat, 4/25/15 - We arrived via limo to WCW - Creekside Grille for my mother's milestone birthday luncheon, which happens to be my mother's favorite winery and this happened to be her 2nd time celebrating her birthday there Although my paranoia had the worst of me for this milestone birthday, Sarah was excellent in getting the details of our reservation down for a table of 19 people!! We waited 15 minutes to be seated, which gave us an opportunity for photos in the patio garden. Nice touch with the personalized menu, which said; "Happy Birthday and my mom's name on it. The menu has some good choices, the fan favorite were the "lamb cheeks". My mother, as a finicky eater that she is, enjoyed her Salmon dish, cooked to perfection! our servers were friendly and accomodating considering we were a big group and the restaurant was busy! Popping champagne bottles we bought at WCW, their Almond champagne and Peach Bellini are the family favorites. Thanks to WCW for such a memorable day..we finished right on time as the rain began to fall...got back into our limo, it was nice not to have to drive ourselves in the rain. We left with happy hearts and stomachs! We celebrated my mother's birthday in style, great company, great place and great food and great memories... Definitely coming back time after time, next time it will be a Manor stop! read more

Wilson Creek combines a great wine selection with absolutely beautiful grounds to really go above and beyond the regular wine tasting experience! First and Foremost: The Wine The wine tasting format is nice and simple. You get to try 5 for 20 dollars. Even their primo stuff is included. So you don't have to do the traditional lite to full bodied tasting, just stick to what you like :-). Wilson Creek also offers a wide variety of sparkling wine that even includes flavored option like peach and almond. Its really surprisingly delicious if you have never had it. The Grounds: Wilson Creek is a huge estate with both hospitality and farming at the same location. You first walk into a beautiful court yard with plenty of outdoor seating, well cared gardens, and even a Bocce Ball court (free to play). From there you see that Wilson Creek offers several locations for your tasting. You can go to a regular tasting room, a large wine barn, or even several banquet halls if you're with a huge group. After tasting you can get a tour of the vineyard if you like and see the grapes on the vine. The people are really nice and will make your experience even better. Bring a camera because you will definitely get some great pictures :-D Bottom line: This place is super nice! You definitely have to check it out. read more

This review is for the horseback riding that the winery offers. I came here for the private trail ride. You will need to drive around back the main area to a dirt parking lot. They have a small trailer set up for checking in, and they got us on our horses pretty quickly. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. As we rode through the grounds, which were very pretty, she told us about the different types of grapes growing in the vineyards and other information about the winery. Because we are a little more experienced riders, she gave us a bit more freedom with having fun on our ride. She was great - I wish I could remember her name! It's been about a month, so I have forgotten her name since then. Don't forget you are in Temecula. If you want to do the riding tour, DO NOT go in the middle of summer. It gets horribly hot. We were lucky in that we had some cloud cover for our ride, which gave us a little break from the heat. Otherwise, it is a great activity for late spring or early fall. We did try the almond champagne, which is what this winery is known for. It was fantastic! They gave us some tasting coupons to go in and try a few wines, and I am looking forward to going back and using them. read more

I recently had the pleasure of going on a wine tour led by Mike, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we met him, it was clear that Mike knows his stuff--he's incredibly knowledgeable about wine, the vineyards, and the entire winemaking process. He shared fascinating details about each wine we tasted and gave us insider information about the winery that you just wouldn't get anywhere else. Not only is Mike an expert, but he's also super friendly and personable. He made everyone feel welcome, creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you could ask questions and genuinely enjoy the experience. His enthusiasm for wine was infectious, and by the end of the tour, I felt like I had learned so much but also had a blast! As if that wasn't enough, Mike is also a talented singer! He treated us to a beautiful impromptu performance at one of the stops, which was such a unique and fun touch to the day. It felt like an extra bonus to an already amazing experience. A former co-worker and good friend, Sandy, helped guide my wife and I through planning our daughter's 21st birthday celebration. Sandy now works at Wilson Creek Winery. She introduced us to many of the other staff members. Beware of Kizzie and those Slushies! Although they are freaking awesome, those drinks can be quite a distraction from the great food at the Creekside Grille restaurant and the many wines available for tasting in the tasting room. We were able to reserve space at both the restaurant, where Lizzy and our server Joshua took great care of us, and the lower garden area where we could take a break now again when going back and forth to the tasting room. Kristina arranged a very nice setting for us in the garden area that was easily accessible for us to bring in some decorations for the party. John ran off with our daughter's wine glass when we arrived and brought it back with her named etched on it with "Happy 21st" included. All in all it was a very special day.
