First hole from the blue tees.

Probably the lowest green fees of any 18 hole golf course in LA ($41 weekday). Wilson is the better and longer of the 2 Griffith Lark courses and is pretty wide. Not too many bunkers of hazards in play. Very walkable course. Relatively easy to grab a tee time online or you can hold out and get on the waitlist if a spot opens up. Times do fill up and this is a popular course to okay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun course.

Beautiful and spacious course -- great for all levels This golf course is one of my favorites. The layout is spacious, scenic, and very well maintained. With a total of 36 holes, there's plenty of variety whether you're in for a short round or a full day of play. What really stands out for me is the practice area -- four putting greens and a dedicated chipping zone make it perfect for improving short game skills. It's a great place both for beginners and experienced players who want to train or just enjoy a day in nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and professional golf experience.

Just wanted to post the hours since it doesn't seem to be posted anywhere. They have clubs for rent for $3 each. I don't remember the prices for the balls but a medium bucket was $10.

A b'ness associate invited me to play golf at Wilson. I said okay bc I have never played here, even though it is 44 mi away from HB. Its located in Griffith Park, off the 5 and Griffith Park Dr in LA. Wilson is a very good course. It is "old school" with fairways that bend to the R or L, there are plenty of mature trees, it has some elevation changes, and the course is long. The first hole looks like you are headed into the forest. Lastly, the price is reasonable for a public course, at $66 w/ cart on the weekend. However, what I did not like is that my cart was acting up. I called the clubhouse on the 6th hole, and a replacement cart never came: That is shitty customer service regardless if the course is public or private. Luckily for me, the cart did not break down bc it was 110 degrees. Secondarily, #4 & #5 are of similar length. Its like playing the same hole twice, but back to back. Lastly, they have a 75 cent surcharge for using a credit card. I have never paid a fee like this at a golf course. In addition, in these COVID times, who uses cash any longer?! I wish I played here when I worked in DTLA. Now it is too far for me to come on a regular basis. In addition, the lack of response on the cart, and credit card surcharge turned me off also.

Well this review is really just for the driving range. I never thought that I'd be interested in playing golf, which to be honest at one point in my l life I said I'm not going to be one those people chasing that stupid white ball but TADA...Here I am practicing every week on the range to help improve my form and drive. To be honest, I really don't have any issues with this practice range as some of the review does. Yes, I'm a beginner but come on. it's cheap, it's within the city, it's convenient and open late, for beginners like myself I find this place alright and a nice after work spot to release some work frustration or hit some balls with friends. We like the second level at night except when the tee's decide to fly down to the ground, the slave machine could be serviced often and better, not only it doesn't accept cc's but now there's only 1 dispenser working. Overall, I like this driving range and yes, I will keep coming back.

Condition of the putting green on hole 2

Course is in horrible shape. Most golf courses in Southern California are in excellent shape due to all of the rain we've gotten the last two winters but somehow the City Of Los Angeles & their Golf Course Superintendents are committed to dismal failure. They should be embarrassed.

The golf course is nice but everything else is average at best. The check-in process is slow and not welcoming. The driving range was probably the worst I've visited. It was overly crowded, poorly taken care of and missing pieces.

Me and my girlfriend went to golf here 2 days ago. When we arrive the elderly white man at the counter told us it was too expensive for us, and said we need go somewhere else. We said kindly asked him not to assume we cannot afford 60$ fee. Some of the other customers who had witnessed the unacceptable treatment spoke up and told him to stop harassing us.. He proceeded to shout at them, warning that he wouldn't rent out to them if they didn't keep quiet. While in line I assume something was off because when i smile at him he said I better smile. While I do not want to accuse him of microaggressions or racism, it was completely evident that was the case. Feeling insulted and uncomfortable by this clearly outdated racism, I noticed the white men behind us all spoke out about his behavior as well. Having the audacity to think I can be accommodating by such poor racial treatment I decided to make complaint to manager Paul Nason and to To my surprise, he told us that he was actually doing us a favor by renting us clubs after 4 PM. When we said it was too expensive, he suggested that we weren't going to be able to play long anyway and that we were wasting our money.. I asked him to explain the comment " Do I even know how to golf" and Paul excuse his comments by saying you girls obviously new because more people want to play more holes and stay longer. Paul said he know his character and he was being a grandpa to us. Paul obviously defended his prejudice and did nothing to try and make our experience better. Other than him, all the other staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Further more all other employees I experienced gave great service.

I took my husband there for his birthday and selected a bay for two people. This was our first time so we didn't really know what to expect. We picked a virtual course in Korea which was on the tougher side but still had a good time. The bay was semi private which was exactly what we wanted. The ball sets up automatically and upon each swing, it rolls down the side and another ball sets right up. You can also pause and take a look at your swing analysis. My husband always asks me what's wrong with his swing so this was perfect. You're able to see where the ball made contact, face angle, back spin, and all the analysis you can request for to make your next swing better. They offer custom club fitting and classes. If we didn't live so far away, this would be a good option to improve our game. Plenty of parking since it's inside the shopping center where HMart is at. Go up the escalator and you'll see it in the corner. Easy to find. Easy to park. No hassle experience. Great place to would come again if in the area.

The driving range net near the first tee is clearly too short, and from what I experienced, this has apparently been an ongoing problem for years without meaningful changes being made. During my round I was almost hit by golf balls three separate times, including being struck by a range ball on the first tee. There were already dozens of balls scattered around the tee box, making it obvious this is not some rare or unexpected occurrence. A warning over the loudspeaker does not fix an unsafe setup when range balls are consistently clearing the netting. Beyond the safety concerns, the course conditions have gone downhill badly compared to when I played about a year ago. The greens were extremely rough and bumpy, putting felt more like putting on cement than on maintained greens. The layout also feels overly cramped and tightly packed, which only adds to the safety concerns throughout the course. To top it off, my golf cart died before I could even finish the round. Overall the experience felt poorly maintained, overcrowded, and unsafe, which is disappointing because the course used to be in much better shape.

Although it wasn't terrible, it could definitely have been better. I believe our server's name was Leila, who gave us the same safety briefing and took our drink order. One of our party members wasn't drinking at the time because she was pumping breast milk, so she ordered water. The initial service was great, but it went south fast. I don't know where the breakdown occurred, but Leila was hard to find. All we wanted was another round of drinks, including water. We had to order it on their app. We eventually moved to the dining area, where we experienced better customer service. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely come back again. The first impression honestly caught me off guard. We had to go through security and a metal detector just to enter, which already felt a bit uncomfortable for a casual family outing. As a 6-year Elite Yelper, this was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in the last five years that resulted in me leaving a low-star review and I eat out everywhere. Once our bay host arrived, he immediately said, "I know you're from Montebello," and then told us to use the mobile ordering system. It took a while to download and get set up. I had to ask for waters, and although there were 8 of us, he only brought 5 waters. After placing our mobile order, he dropped off a few plates and napkins, but overall he seemed far more focused on cleaning nearby bays and folding napkins in the back than actually checking on or serving our group. With our first food order, I specifically ordered two baskets of fries, but they never arrived. I informed the bay host, and although he walked away, he never appeared to notify the kitchen or follow up. We waited quite a while, even receiving and nearly finishing our second round of food before I finally had to ask a manager about the missing fries. Thankfully, she brought them out quickly. Throughout the visit, I repeatedly had to ask different employees for basic things waters for the kids, to-go boxes, and other simple service items that should have been checked on throughout the experience. I ended up leaving a lower tip, which is honestly much lower than what I normally leave. I'm actually a genourous tipper but he wouldn't have known that because of the level of service we got. Someone in my group even suggested I should have left only $10 based on the service. I still felt bad leaving a tip like that but I had to base it on we received, which unfortunately felt like a one-star experience. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because the food itself was decent, and every other employee or manager who helped us was kind and pleasant. Unfortunately, our actual bay service fell far below expectations. I didn't even get any pictures.
