I took my Dyson stick vac in after it wasn't working well. They were able to fix the problem on the spot for a fair price. I was shown what the problem was and the price to fix the issue was incredible! The best part was being able to take it home that day and use it! I am so glad to know that Wimmer's is close. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. I went back the next day and purchased another vacuum! I purchased the Sebo Felix premium. I went home and used it, very happy with my purchase! I don't understand all the negative reviews! After reading them, I am not sure they are being reasonable or if they are actual customers looking at the location of one of them! read more

The worst customer service ever!! After buying a destiny 2 embroidery machine, tables, and a baby lock serger, he can't seem to help me. After paying $500 extra for classes, He tells me I have to load up my delicate expensive machine and haul it in to his store for a one on one class. I am almost crippled. I can't haul this in. If it's a one on one class, why can't the lady come to my house??? Why do I want to take the chance of ruining my machine hauling it in every week? Now my threader doesn't work and they won't help me fix it. I offered to pay them to come to my house and make the 10 minute fix, but they won't help. I spent almost $30,000 there and he won't help with any customer service. read more

I bought a used embroidery Pfaff creative icon from another store. I was promised a free class to learn how to work my expensive machine. 7 months later I received a voice message saying they were having a class , would I be interested. As it turned out I had covid and was in quarantine. One year later I called to see why I hadn't been contacted about a class. It seems they just had one two weeks ago. I tried to figure out how to use the machine on my own but the thread looped and tangled no matter what I did. I called to see if I could bring it in to have someone show me what to do thinking I was not working it right. The lady said I could only come on Tues or Thurs. but that she had a hair appointment on Tues and someone else was not coming in on the regular Thurs time. That is when I became annoyed at their terrible service. I called wimmer's and they were able to schedule me for a one on one class in two weeks. Even though my machine was not one that they sold themselves, the instructor was very knowledgeable and thorough. I was able to get my machine serviced as well very professionally handled. I took my vacuum here for repair, after being told they do repairs on Dyson vacs. We were treated with total disregard and snubbed by the guy who "helped" us. I called the day I was told it would be done. My husband went to pick it up. He was told it would be over 400.00 !! They happen to sell vacuums for that amount. Again, treated with disregard , and snubbed. They shouldn't advertise as a repair shop when they really only want to sell you a new one. I'll never go back. I do love their fabrics . NEVER take a quilt here to have it quilted! Dropped off my quilt on January 31, I was told it would be done in a week, it would definitely be done by February 14. I called on February 6 to see if it was done, nope the quilter left town but it would be fine as promised by the 14th. Went in to the Ogden store, where I had dropped it off, on the 15th to pick it up. I was asked if I was sure they had my quilt! Um yes I'm sure here is my receipt! He had to call the other store to see if they could find it! Oh yep it's at the Layton store, great I'll go there to get it! Well no it's not done! I told him I needed it by Monday, he says fine it'll be done tomorrow. As I was walking out of the store I hear him making a phone call. He asks are you sure you can pick it up to get it done by tomorrow? Um, WTH it hasn't even gotten to the quilter? Long and short, I picked up my quilt in Layton on Saturday, it looks terrible! They did give me a discount, but really! Puckers in the fabric, skipped stitching, and grey animal hair all over it! I'm so disappointed I've cried over my first quilt, It that looks awful! I'll never even step foot into a Wimmer's store again! I called the quilter and she was apologetic and said she thought that maybe she could try to fix it. MAYBE! I think no! read more

The first 2 calls to this establishment was good. I made an appointment in July for repair in August, it is now November. After making several calls, they finally admitted the part had come in, not logged into their system but they had fixed it, now end of September. OK, so mistakes happen After that it was an awful experience. They took a sewing machine that they agreed to repair, that they are authorized service center for, that had 1 thing wrong, that they were paid in full, they said it was fixed, and made it a useless piece of junk. A 3 year old Viking Sapphire is the machine they ruined. I took it back 3 times and instead of needing 1 repair, it no longer sews at all. Every time I returned it, they acted like it was my fault. I could not force myself to leave it again. They became very rude and in turn, I became rude (not good) I do not understand why people feel it is their right to be so condescending to others. My guess is that 1) God died and left them in charge 2) They belong to a certain religion in Utah 3) They have a certain political affiliation 4) They are racist(very popular) 5) they can not take responsibility for their actions 6) they have no self confidence 7) they are just plain rude to customers. My suggestion is not to find out! If you ever want to sit in their parking lot and try to figure out what you are going to do with a ruined machine, try them. If you want to feel bad about yourself, try them. If you have no need for a working machine, try them. If you want to hear excuses not action, try them. If you try them for yourself, please let me offer my sympathy in advance. The machine is now being returned to Viking Service Center in Tennessee. Perhaps they messed it up so bad, it will never work or perhaps someone with a brain can fix it. read more

Bought a baby lock serger couple years ago here so recently decided to take in my old sewing machine for repair. Brought it back and realized parts were missing, panel loose, and realized my machine has a grinding sound so I took it back only to have it returned to me in the same condition. The cost of repair in the hundreds and I found myself with a damaged machine. Asking for refund for the hundreds I was charged was like pulling teeth. Bottom line don't take your machines for repair and expect professional results here, as now Im stuck with a gutted vintage machine and no idea what they did to it and barely got my money back. They charge a hefty fee but you'll get a sloppy service work. I really felt taken advantage and ripped off. I will not do business with them and hope my experience helps someone pay attention if they choose to go there or get ripped off read more
