If we could give a 0 rating we definitely would. This company is the most unreliable, unprofessional and non-responsive company we have ever done business with. After placing a very expensive order for 11 windows, 2 sliders and one large kitchen window, with Shawn, it took 7 months to receive the windows only. When they were delivered, the order was missing screens and the kitchen window. After several attempts of calling, texting, emailing we had to wait another 2 months to get the kitchen window and screens. Shaun, Anthony, Donna and a district manager all said they would take care of the situation and we've had no response whatsoever from anyone to date. The slider screens still do not close properly, no screens on the kitchen window and one window will no longer open. I would've chosen a double negative star if there's an option for this. We order our sliding doors back in January and was told it will take 6-8 weeks for completion. After seeing 2 other vendors we chose Window World. It's been almost 6 months. No sliding door as of now. Customer service is terrible. They will transfer you to another line because they "don't have answers to my inquiry." I deeply regret choosing this company. We have wasted enough time. We already put a down payment. All I can do is give them a bad review and wait. Please choose another vendor for your window or sliding door needs. Don't make the same mistake I did. Joke. The only reason they get one star is because the quality of their stuff...here's OUR story. Called Window world in November to get a quote on a sliding glass door. Gentleman came out..gave us a quote...upsold us on a custom doggie door insert and I was sold. Understandably this custom door was going to take months to complete and of course during a pandemic I didn't expect anything less. They sent me a text stating my door would be back from the vendor the week of 2/21 or around that. *attached image* . That was Nov 9th. Fast forward to the week of 2/21 it was now the 26th and I have yet to hear if any update from them. I called them and they didn't know where our door was. They called me the next day and said "oh we seem to have found it..we can install on Tuesday." Guys came to install my door on that Tuesday and the door didn't even have the doggie door in it. When we called they said there was a change in our account manager and they were still waiting for the doggie door and would be ready in a couple weeks. How about some communication? How about a call saying "hi! I am your new account manager and this is your update on the door." We have been understanding...we haven't been pushy...and I'm frustrated because of the LACK of communication about my door not because of the dates it is taking for this to be completed. Well a couple weeks went by...a month to be exact...nothing from window world. Called them and they have NO CLUE WHERE OUR DOGGIE DOOR IS. We called them this past Tuesday and Anthony said he would get back to us by Wednesday END OF BUSINESS DAY. Here we are Thursday afternoon and we have to CALL THEM AGAIN...with a "he will call you back" answer. Look. I get it...i understand things get busy...i understand that maybe possibly our project got lost somewhere...but to not even communicate when the client is spending some good money on your product is absolutely ridiculous. I hope this gets some sort of attention for the higher ups knowing what horrible customer service your business has and how unhappy I am. Windows make a huge difference ... We have lived in our house 10 years and original windows from a long time ago. We started a project with WW a few years back for security reasons. Getting new, nice fitting windows along our kids rooms was a great sense of security. We completed the other half of our windows and sliding doors and yes feel safer, but cosmetically HOLY SHitterooni, windows really make a hug difference. We are happy with the service and the workers really busted hind and cleaned up well. The end result was some really awesome windows. Watching surprised family is a lot of fun too. LOL Ill add some photos as we work on the areas around the windows, I wish I had taken some before because its like the walls grew a tremendously. read more

As an update on our window from hell, it was finally installed correctly 10 months after it was ordered and now we love it. But after 2 installs of bad glass and one broken before it was even delivered, I still can't recommend this company. Window World is a nightmare full of unprofessional and pushy people. They sent Michael Massato to my home to give me a free estimate. Upon arrival, Michael began showering me with compliments on my appearance and that made me very uncomfortable as I am a single mother of three and this guy was already acting creepy in my foyer. He surveyed my window that needed replacing and then went on without permission to measure all the other windows in my room, even though they don't need replacing. He said that Window World will charge a 300+ service charge to replace one window so I might as well replace all my windows to "save money". Oh gee, so if I spend 4 thousand dollars it will save me money? Absurd logic and pushy tactics. I then asked him for a breakdown of what the lower to higher end window replacement would look like and he quoted me $1300 for a very small window. I received a better quote for that so told him the price was too steep for me. Michael then condescendingly mentioned that I was obviously in financial trouble because the price was too high and that I would be hard pressed to find ANY window company to replace just one window. Little did he know I had other quotes and companies have never turned me down for one window. I mentioned this and politely asked him to leave as his pushy and offensive sale tactics were not effective and actually working against him. He got up in a huff, made some disparaging remarks about how no one would work with me and then sat in his car in my driveway for ten minutes doing only God knows what. Two days ago I received a text message from a man name Anthony who asked how my experience was and if I had any feedback. I have attached a screenshot of my reply which is the short version of what I am posting here, even mentioning that I feel unsafe that this creepy man knows where I live. I received no response over two days and that speaks volumes to me. I advise you to never give this company your business or your money as they are woefully incompetent at everything they claim to do well. I hope you can learn from my experience and never invite these people in to your home, because once they know where you live and treat you this way I can assure you that your peace of mind will be affected. read more

We purchased 10 windows from them over the last two years and I referred them to a neighbor for windows. One of my windows in the kitchen started leaking when it rained yesterday and today. I put a service request to come fix it and I got an email from Amber Schultz Service coordinator at Window Word San Diego, 177 Vallecitos Del Oro, San Marcos, CA 92069 that have you done a yearly caulking maintenace on the window and the warranty says you have to do a yearly maintenace on the window yourself. No one has ever heard of such a thing, and I only purchased the windows from them because they said they have lifetime warranty of windows and installation. I would never purchase anything from this company again. They cannot even do a proper installation on the windows they installed and they are referring me to the old read the fine print and it says you have to do yearly Maintenace. 3/1/2023 Eli a Manager from their office called and said they will resolve the issue. He scheduled a visit for today Wednesday. His tech guy called and said today we will not make it because of the rain. I called Eli several times trying to find him and left one voice mail. He never responded to me back. They keep saying they have too much work yet they say at the same time they cannot do anything due to rain!!!. They seem to think I can sit at home all day and week waiting for them to schedule a time whenever "they" wish. This is not a good customer service. I will update this posting after they come and fix the issue. They have not called me back yet to reschedule. Now they fixed it. But that original response from them was very rude. read more

Arrived earlier than expected with all windows and slider completed beautifully. Front window was a challenge because the stucco around the window was rounded and not flat. I have contacted Anthony G. of Window World in Orange County regarding unacceptable conditions of the Custom Exterior Wraps around my new windows several times (8/31/2020, 9/14/2020 and 3/18/2021). He came out on August 25, 2020 to take another order of new windows and taken photos of the Custom Exterior Wraps to send to his General Manager. Never heard from Window World about the wraps. I texted Anthony again on 3/18/2021 and his response "Good morning Ms Marshall As soon as you sent me the pictures I sent them to my General Manager. I also called her and put it in the notes of your second project. I was told they would be replaced at your second install. I am going to speak with my Managers to see what happened." I ordered a security door on 3/17/2022. After calling several times (1 time a week since June) I have never received a call back after leaving a message. The one and only time i got a person on the phone (~Late July) other than the front office I was able to schedule the door install for 8/4/2022. Mind you its been over 4 months of no call backs and at that point i was about to give up. When 8/4/2022 comes around and the installers show up they show up with the WRONG door. I don't blame the installers for having the wrong door, the installers were actually nice and showed up with the door they were given. What i suspect happened was when I met with the sales people on 3/17/2022 and explained what i wanted in the door they either inputted the wrong part number in the order form or the communication between Window World and the manufacturer was misinterpreted. It is now 8/8/2022 and I have called them several times asking them to call back to discuss next steps and options and I am still waiting. It's unprofessional that they have not called back or even acknowledged the door was incorrect and not installed. It's been 6 months and nothing has been done. After I don't know how many calls (+20) to them I have not received a call back. I was lucky just that once and was able to get that install date set. I'm afraid its probably going to be at least another 5 months for someone to show up to my door. Hopefully someone from the company responds to this as it seems that a Yelp review may be the fastest way to get a hold of them. read more

So glad with our decision to choose Window World. From the initial consultation with Anthony Nichols to the installation with Genesis and his partner. We felt we were in good hands. Covid did delay our installation. We had an approximate date of 1/25 but we were called on 1/20 for next day installation. They apologized for the short notice and were able to accommodate as I had zoom meeting during the installation window. They patiently waited about 20 minutes until I was done with my work and double checked to make sure the coast was clear. Genesis was knowledgeable and handled business quickly. So impressed. So disappointed. I gave a Window World Orange County a great review in January but now I cannot get anyone to call me back to schedule and finish up the job. I ordered my windows in September. Had them installed in January. One of the windows came with an incorrect number of grids to match those in my HOA so they reordered it. I was told it was coming in the week of March 2nd and that they'd call me the week of March 7th. I still haven't received a call to schedule. I've left 5 messages. Can't use our patio door and the weather is warm. Very frustrating. . This started out as a good experience but now they have my full payment and I still don't have everything as promised. read more
