Wow! Loved the vibe here. The prices are great. The full bar is filled with anything anyone could ever want. The staff were nice and attentive. Our food was delicious! The burger and meatloaf were delicious. The crab cake was SO good!!

We went to Windsor Mill Tavern Saturday Evening, 6th of December and we absolutely LOVE it! The staff seems to love their jobs, the service is amazing and the food is delicious and comforting. I had the delicious crab cake appetizer and Salmon in Beurre Blanc Sauce and my husband had the Fried Cheese Curds and Stuffed Pork chop. Both absolutely delicious. Best Mashed potatoes I have ever had. This was our second time at Windsor Mill Tavern and we love the warm Irish Pub Style atmosphere. Only thing missing is a fireplace! This is our new favorite hangout after having moved here to Severance, Co this past March. We love it. Oh! And the seats are comfortable as well. We will be back. Love having a place that is only a couple miles away from where we reside! Well done staff and management! This place is a gem!!!! And the prices? Quite reasonable!

When in the Greeley area, I was hungry for lunch and found Windsor Mill Tavern via Yelp. Fun little place! It's in the basement of a building -- so it took me a few minutes to fugue out how to enter the place. I sat at the bar, and my bartender was great. I started with a cream of chicken soup -- it was excellent, and I wish I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup. : ) For my main course, I ordered the steak bites with mashed potatoes. The steak was ok -- some pieces were pretty chewy -- but I ate most of it and enjoyed the mashed potatoes a lot. Total bill -- with tip -- was $40. Not bad considering how high inflation is!

We've been to Windsor Mill Tavern a handful of times now and it's quickly become one of our go-to spots. I love the weekday deals, it gives us an excuse to pop in without feeling like we're splurging. The menu is huge (in a good way) and honestly has something for whatever you're in the mood for. We've tried a few different things and have never been disappointed. They also have a solid tap list, including our favorite: 805. The ambiance is perfect for a casual date night with a good vibe all around.

Having been here many times in the past this visit was a bit of a disappointment. The good news is they still have Juicy Bits (NEHIPA) on tap. Curious news is they only have 1 white wine, in this case Pinot Grigio, on happy hour. . The bad news concerned dinner. I've always ordered the curried mussels appetizer with the soup of the day. Before it was prepped with yellow Urey and was delicious. This time it was either red curry but more likely sriracha and it was hot ... TOO DAMN HOT in my opinion. Wasn't an enjoyable meal at all yet it was still described on the menu as yellow curry. It even looked different than times past. Perhaps a one off as we'll try it again. Oh, I also had a cup of the soup of the day which was a steak and potato chowder. It was excellent!!!

Amazing drinks, food and service. The fish and chips (walleye) was delicious. I'm sorry I didn't take any photos

This is our second time coming to Windsor Mill Tavern. We were hoping for the prime rib but they stopped making it. We still had a great experience. The margarita I had was perfection, I got the chicken fried waygu and my husband got the chicken risotto. We also enjoyed the cheese curds and Brussels for a starter. We ended with the espresso torte and bread pudding. Everything was wonderful!

Foyer and entrance of the restaurant. The bar is in the middle.

What a great place! Tucked into the property with several other restaurants in downtown Windsor. Built in the style of an Irish pub the ambiance is so cool. Plenty of space for guests and diners. I had the Bangers and Mash, a perfect Irish fare. My wife had the Cowboy burger and had to bring half home. Our friend had the Bison Philly and it filled the plate. Try the bourbon bread pudding too. Our server, Sophia was awesome and was very responsive, friendly, and timely. The entire staff was busy and the bar was packed as well.

Pineapple teriyaki burger with bison patty and side of soup, chef's special was a steak chowder.

The food has consistently been excellent--my wife loves the sirloin pasta, and I always enjoy the filet. The staff has even surprised us with a complimentary dessert or drink on a special occasion, which was a thoughtful touch. Over all of our visits, we've only had one experience that wasn't near perfect, which says a lot about their consistency. On our latest visit we arrived about 5-10 minutes early for our reservation and were seated just a few minutes after our reservation time. Overall, we continue to have great experiences and look forward to coming back.

Decided to try something new and took my father-in-law there for his birthday. We had reservations for 6:30pm and as we arrived, a large bus full of 50 college hockey players also arrived. It took us over 30 minutes to have somebody take our drink order and another 15 minutes for those drinks to arrive. We were seated with a happy hour menu, which was over and I had to ask the bartender for a drink menu and wine list. My water glass was very dirty and nobody ever came by the table in 90 minutes to refill our water. We were seated right next to the bar too. We were continually informed by our waitress and a barback that things were slow due to the large party in the other room. After 90 minutes passed and we still had not received our food, we asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came to our table, she did not introduce herself, so we had to assume she was the manager. Rather than own the mistake, she proceeded to throw our waitress under the bus. Our waitress was great and doing the best she could, but the restaurant was severely understaffed. They offered us free bread. We finally decided to get up and walk out and leave without being served our food. The manager chased us out the front door to bring our food in to-go boxes and as we were leaving, the entire hockey team was also leaving and getting back on their bus. So in the time we arrived for our reservation and after 90 minutes without being served, they came, ate and left. We were told this was a learning moment for her waitress, however, should be a learning moment for management to staff appropriately or just close the restaurant down to feed 50+ hockey team members. We won't be back!

Hopped in with Thursday night reservations, and we were seated within a few minutes. The menu is as fantastic looking as we remember. Pretty much, this is one of those places you go when you want to eat a bougie dinner. Oh, and the cocktails! Wife N. started with the Woo Girl a lovely off-fizzy gin-based hibiscus drink. Delightful. I went with an Old Fashioned. They have three different Old Fashioned choices (I've had all, and all are stellar) but tonight I went with the "With a Twist" which adds in some unique pineapple and vanilla notes. Fabulous! The apps arrived. We started with the Fois Gras Terrine--pretty much you can't go wrong with Fois Gras and Chimney park gussied it up with marinated apricots, pistachios, and what turned out to be the most delightful edible flowers (the purple poofy one looked like a garlic flower and had a light garlicy taste which, with the Fois was a bite of heaven---many folks think flowers are just garnish but don't shy away from trying a bite or you'll miss out! The only drawback was we ran out of the (two) toast points a third the way through the terrine. No big deal, we just spread it on their wonderful table bread. Bison tartare. Perfect egg yolk on top and a lovely dijon cream, served with housemade potato chips. Best tartare in recent memory. Next, the lobster bisque which we mentioned we were sharing. It arrived split into two perfect servings, with bisque poured tableside. Chunks of fresh lobster swimming in a delightfully tasty bisque with just a bit of spicy heat to it. I think if there was only one thing I was allowed to eat for the rest of my life, it would be this dish. On to the mains. She had the pan roasted Chilean sea bass. Flawlessly cooked and glistening, on a bed of pea risotto and adorned with pea shoots, most excellent. I had the mushroom-crusted New England scallops. Five #12 scallops, perfectly seared, on a bed of black rice, served with morels, bok choi and a couple black truffle shavings with a beurre blanc. This was a delicious umami bomb. Everything on the plate had a reason for being there and, on the off-chance I managed to get all the elements in a single bite it was a bite of heaven. Stuffed to the gills, we could only take home a dessert. So the flourless chocolate torte made its way into a to-go box and we had it back at the hotel room. Everything you'd expect a delicious wrap-up to be. Second visit in two years, and the quality of service and food was consistent across both visits. We're Chimney Park fans, and will be back any time we're back in the area. Wouldn't miss it for the world.
