    Reuben with butter garlic fries
    Irene Kitty L.

When we lived in Palos Hills, we used to go to Windy City Subs very often. Probably once a week and it has always been a treat. Prices are reasonable and everything tastes pretty great. Today I shared a Reuben sandwich with an order or butter garlic fries with the hubby and it was absolutely fantastic! Nice and hot and crispy. Will continue to visit this place if I'm ever in the area. One of the things that makes me a bit sad now that I've moved. Continue the great service, cute and clean restaurant and delicious food!

    Italian sandwich. It's ok.

Not too bad. Not too good either. If I could give 2.5 stars, I would. Being open til 2 am, is a huge plus. The ONLY reason they are 3 stars. I have had much better, but if you want a deli sandwich @ 1 am, where do you go, y'know???

    Gyros Plate w/Fries.

Gyros Plate with fries piled on Chicago Style. Meal comes hearty enough to grab extra pita and enjoy 2 good size sandwiches. Cashier was prompt and professional. Nice seating area to eat, Also Soda machine still out front for a refill, something getting more scarce as retailers have started hiding condiments ect behind register. I'll be back to try a Sub soon.

Stopped by on a whim a few days ago. This place has been here forever but I finally stopped to see if the food is as good as I'm told it is!! So let me start by saying that getting your food is no issue. Drive-thru works nicely, but be warned that the traffic on 111th can be loud so you might not be able to hear as well. Got to the window, payment was easy as they accept electronic payments in addition to cash. Got the food, and it was a wrap!!! The food is standard fare: burgers, hot dogs, fries, things of that nature. I ordered the hot dogs, a double cheeseburger and garlic fries. The hot dogs were not mine, but they were good (I got a bite! )! The garlic fries were to die for, they were that good!! Let me warn you all also: they don't skimp on the fries. They give you a LOT!!! I am 238 pounds and I could not finish them! Now for the double cheeseburger, it was good, but my only criticism is that there was so much lettuce (which can have a higher water content) on the bread that the bottom bun got soggy. Let me be clear, the burgers were nicely done, though. So maybe they can go easy on the lettuce in general? Anyhow, I'll definitely go back. Good food worth the money, especially those garlic fries!!! Food......A- (would be an A+ if not for the soggy bun) Ambiance....B Price....B Customer service....A+

If you have hours set until 2am maybe you shouldn't have the "grill off" 25 minutes before so people can't order. Set your time to 1:30 if that's the case. Gave this place 3 times and it's always something ridiculous. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else and avoid it. Plus it's hit or miss on the food when you do get it. Might be good might be crap.

So this was the first time i've eaten here and the line was out to the street. However, these employees were timely with orders during peak hours. I ordered a Gyro meal so it came with fries and a fountain drink. The fries and sandwich were very tasty and fresh. The meat was very fresh and flavorful. The fries were crispy and salty to my liking. I would eat here again. I've taken photos of their current prices and menu items and they have a nice selection. Also their staff was excellent with service and efficient with managing customers during lunch hours. I would recommend this establishment.

Wow. I am so happy I finally made my way to Windy City after driving by it on my commute for many years. Basically, I wanted a gyro, and I wanted to dine in. This place is so clean, it's gleaming, and the sunlight just pours in. I don't know of a fast food place with a dining room this nice. Not a single crumb in sight. Really. It was so peaceful too; the energy was just right. Ok. The food. Amazing. I don't eat fast food often, so when I do I want it to be worth it. My meal was made to order, and it came out so hot and fresh. I enjoyed every bite. All the while, the staff was working together nonstop. Never a moment of nothing for them. Whether they were cooking, cleaning, stocking, they were moving the entire time. They were so pleasant and happy. Makes me think they like working there. Most establishments are short staffed. Not here! Thank you for a GREAT dinner. Thank you for your hospitality. Can't wait to do it again.

King Turkey (12 inch sub) with only two slices of Turkey.
    T K.

I'm not sure if I'm just getting different chefs preparing the food but I ordered the largest Turkey sub (KING) and it came with two slices of Turkey on it and that was it. I like this place, their food is decent , LOVE their hours but they seem to really skimp on the sandwiches.

Date of Visit... 11.28.21 Food & Drink (4 of 5) Food... *Regular Turkey Sub (lettuce, tomato, provolone, oil on Italian sub bread) - Hard to differentiate a sandwich but this was really good. Light bread, with turkey, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese and the sandwich was cut in two halves. *Fries - thin cut fries cooked medium well. Just cooked enough; hot and crispy *Drink... Diet Coke   Customer Service (5 of 5) Wait... *No wait to order in the drive thru but waited in line to get our food after ordering for about 10 minutes. There were 3 cars in front of us. Service... *The drive thru team were very polite.   Atmosphere (4 of 5) Outside... *The outside area looked pretty clean. No trash on the ground. Garbage cans in the parking lot.   Menus Prices (4 of 5) Cost... *We had Double Cheeseburger, Fries, Coke and a Regular Turkey Sub, Fries, Diet Coke; Total bill was $21.76. I'm still in a bit of shock on the general prices today but these are inline with what is standard right now.   Overall (4 of 5) *Nice little place... we will be back again next time we are in the area.

It was pretty good, the best part was sitting in front of their fire oven they use to freshly bake their soft pillowy bread they use for their sandwiches. The bread was definitely the best part! Usually shawarma sandwhiches are in a wrap, but these are so much better. As far as the beef, it was good, not my favorite as far as flavor wise, but still pretty good. Fries were literally exactly like McDonald's which are the best. Glad to have tried this place for sure.

I decided to park next door at the McDonald's to avoid the mayhem. I walked into Nashmi and no line to order, however they did have 19 people working on one line, and yes I counted! After seeing that, it made me really think these guys must be busy as heck! Ambiance was nice and very clean! Tables with high top seating across the windows. Would not be an ideal place to dine in with a large group so something to keep in mind. As I approached the register, I was greeted and told I would be taken care of shortly! So far so good! I decided to order the "Nashmi Chicken Combo". I was told it was a sandwich that came with chicken tenderloin, flame grilled and served in a house made bread with garlic and pickles. Combo meant it came with 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries and a drink. However, I didn't get my drink, it was such a confusing pickup process and no communication on to grab a soda or not. I spent $14.99 so for that much food, I guess the drink can be overlooked. I received my order, walked back to the car and now the food. I don't get it. Chicken was bland, bread was good but small, the overall sandwich was just nothing special. Maybe 5 pieces of chicken total in the sandwich. All I really tasted was the garlic sauce, which was phenomenal by the way, but I came here for the protein and the chicken was just underwhelming. The fries were equivalent to McDonald's but they were good, not seasoned or salted but still tasted good. Hot sauce was average. I ate one sandwich and felt terrible that all I ate was 80% bread and 20% chicken. I don't even eat the second sandwich. Overall not sure what everyone is waiting in line for or what this hype is. This doesn't even come close to the other middle eastern shawarma shops on Harlem Ave. I can understand if you have a very weak palate or cannot tolerate too much spice or flavor but a line out the parking lot is kinda crazy for this.

We arrived on Monday at 410pm just after they opened. They have a bar that seats about 10 and several tables in the storefront area. We chose to sit at the bar. At the time there was only one table occupied by a party of 4 in the dining area. We were greated by a lady who came out from the back and she told us she would be with us if a few minutes because they had just opened. We immediately liked her as she had a sassy, but friendly personality. We had called at 4pm when they opened and ordered a medium 18 inch thin crust pizza with sausage, mushrooms and 1/2 jalapeño. We did this to shorten the wait for dinner because we were hungry. Also, Monday is their 1/2 price any size pizza day for dine in or take out. Our server, who we think is one of the owners came back and we ordered a draft beer and wine. They offer beer and wine. I didn't see any mixed drinks, but I'm not sure. Our drinks came right away. The pizza arrived and we really enjoyed it. It had a thing crisp crust with a glaze of tomato sauce. I would order extra sauce next time, but most probably enjoy it the way it came out. The sausage was tasty and the mushrooms and jalapeño were fresh, not canned (bonus). It was topped with an adequate amount of mozzarella. Not good at giving ratings, but I would say 8 out of 10 which is high to our taste. Shortly after our pizza arrived the place literally filled up and there was a line for people picking up. We will definitely be back. Now one of our favorites in the area.
