Picked up an online order tonight. Online said order will be ready at 8:28. I didn't get the food until 9:05. It wasn't even busy in there. I asked for a complimentary fry for the extended wait. They told me no they could only give me an additional drink. Manager didn't apologize or anything for a meal that came almost 40 min after it was supposed to be ready. Would never ever go to this one again.

In 2021 Wing Daddy's announced it would be opening a new location in the Westside. I grew up in that area and was surprised when we got a Wing Stop years back. Unlike other sides of town that have experienced a boom this area will always be an economic desert. Fast forward to 2023 and passing by on a daily basis to see its progress it finally opened. I came here for its grand opening, eager to see how it will fare in this area. I know this side of town all too well. When I got here parking was tight but it's located in a plaza so there are spaces in the back. Each Wing Daddy's location has its own vibe and the vibe here is pretty welcoming. From its first layer of bricks to its facade now is stark. The layout, for example the bar area breathes openly. I like its rectangular shape, creating full service from all sides. A host walked us to our table with high chairs. And yes with the signature WD booty shorts. The interior is bigger than the one at Jackson Keller but smaller than the SE ³Military Dr. location. It is clean, with a modern look. It's more brightly lit than the other locations. Wing Daddy's is my Happy Hour place with cheaply priced drinks from 2pm to 6pm. In addition they offer lunch, dinner specials everyday. So I had a Karbach's "Hopadillo IPA" , wings and fries. I would remiss to include the service, the server was excellent. Since it was a grand opening I was anticipating there to be mass chaos and confusion. Instead the regional managers even a principle owner was there to ensure everything was running smoothly. Throughout my time there a regional manager, a representative and an owner from their original El Paso, TX location paid a visit to the table. They all were friendly and offered an insight into their business. The food, drink and service were all excellent. The crowd was a mix of old and young. I did see alot of kids, more than expected. But I did see ruffians, gruff patrons and I wonder how this population will affect late nights, particularly weekends. Will this place remain five stars? I'm not sure. I can only account for my experience here. Results will vary. The challenge for them moving forward will be continuing their enthusiastic service, retaining great servers and above all putting out good food consistently. I'm already two days in, a couple of tall sized beers, wings and I think they are off to a go start. The place is spacious, the service is excellent and the food is great. ps. We finally can have nice things!

I am local to the area and I had a idea to come to the newly opened wing daddies of course with caution because this side of town has gone down in the last year or 2. Well it didn't disappoint, we had a absolutely horrible experience at this location. We have had to ask multiple times for anything and when I mean anything I mean silverware are initial waters, soda and tea, very simple items. We had to ask for all are ranch dressings. The fries came way after the main entrees. And me my whole family ate and I'm still sitting here with no food. Just wow. I will never becoming here again! Talk to the manager and he said he would comp my wings well the waitress come to us with the receipt not only charging me for my wings but a bunch of stuff from the table behind us It just keeps getting worse

To be quite honest, the food was nothing special. The wing sauce tasted like something out of a jar. The only thing I liked was that they have a six wing special for $9.49. If you're in the area I would definitely try something else that taste much better. There are plenty of other options with better prices.

I like this place and I go here almost on a weekly basis. This week I walked in and order to go. I was met by a price I wasn't expecting. I understand the to go supply fee. A lot of places do this post pandemic, BUT the prices increased too. This place is fairly new and the menus haven't been updated. So expect the menu price to be wrong!

They always take care of the ECTA union. Wing sauces are good and the wings are fried ideally

The food is fresh. Great family atmosphere. Although food takes very long time to come. Other than that everything is great.

NEW HALAL HOTDOGS IN SATX…read more Mad Dogs has officially made its way to San Antonio! Some refer to it as being home to the "best dogs in Texas" , serving up hotdogs, smash burgers, and more with a flavorful twist. Oh, and everything is 100% HALAL! Oh thank goodness for these guys! I've tried them out in Houston and they live up to the hype! Their creations are super cool like their elote dog, brisket dog, and specialty mad dog to name a few! My favorite right now is the Mad Dog or the loaded brisket fries With locations in the Houston Area, Austin, and now San Antonio, Mad Dogs is showing Texas what it's been missing out on! Come try them out for yourself at Lombrano Food Hall! Note: Lombrano food hall has a bunch of different establishments within it, but, there's no indoor seating. They have a couple of benches outside but the spot is mainly meant for takeaway or delivery

Most often I feel like restaurants that serve hotdogs are not the greatest but this location was phenomenal. I was not able to go in person but I ordered from the restaurant and even then everything arrived in great condition, good packaging, and still delicious. I enjoyed the corn hotdog the most, it was a nice combination of flavors. The buns were thick, fluffy and the sausage itself was juicy and good size. Thanks again!

I noticed it didn't seem to be as popular as some of the other options, so I have to say... don't sleep on this delightful, light, brothy wine stew! Each piece of seafood was perfectly poached, soaking up all that delicious flavor while adding its own sweet seafood lovin' to the broth. The steak was also cooked perfectly. I've done the beverage pairing both times, and while I enjoyed the experience, I don't think I'll order it again--I'm just not an egg cream girl. My friend happily enjoyed it for both of us, though! Another wonderful meal and definitely a place I'll return to.

Everything was well timed, except when we were trying to get the check. All the staff seemed to be kind and professional. The patio is lovely, but I imagine it can be uncomfortable in the summer heat. Now for the food. Overall it was good. I found some components spectacular, but felt like some lacked seasoning. I was looking forward to the arancini the most. The croquet itself was crunchy and that cheese was definitely telefono style, but needed some seasoning. The pomodoro was tasty, but the basil made it fabulous. Y'all know how I feel about basil. The ravioli was filled with spinach, mushroom, and ricotta with a brown butter sage sauce. It was delicious and the portion was perfect. My favorite part though was the crunchy shitaki "bacon"and butternut squash. I would take a bowl of that in a heartbeat and would absolutely go back for a butternut squash main dish. It was perfectly roasted and full of flavor and those shitaki were amazing. The preserved lemon vinaigrette over lettuces was phenomenal. Incredible fresh flavor. Desert was chocolate torte and sour cream ice cream. The ice cream was the absolute star of the show. The sweet vanilla was incredible. I sampled the halibut and shrimp and it was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back to try other offerings.

BLUF: Delicious pies and a quiet place to sit…read more This awesome spot is located right across from Halcyon . It is in a shopping center of sorts in a commercial establishment here in San Antonio. I say this because it lets you know that there are two entrances and you'll be graded regardless , but you will be indicated where to sit if you go to the hostess front desk by the firewood first Customer service was outstanding and earned this place. It's fifth star. I was made to feel welcome and when the sun in the San Antonio skies was shining right in my face through a window because of the time of the afternoon, I knew I would have no luck studying, so I was moved without hesitation. I know that switching tables might be a little bar but believe me when I'm telling you that simply doing a job versus doing it with a smile, makes the world of a difference to me. The food was fantastic by the way , I'd be remiss if I didn't gush about the meatballs and the pizza. I have never tried spicy honey chicken before and I'm glad that I chose this spot to do it for the first time. Everything is literally made to order right then, and there and the absolute freshness of the ingredients shows from the first bite to the very last. There seemed to be other people studying there too as well as what looked like groups of 2 to 8 occupying various tables so this establishment lends itself to family or party friendly dinner reservations.
