Closed when they should be open at 2 in the afternoon. No sign on door explaining why?

Service was horrible! My friend and I met there before our concert started at Sandy amphitheater. We had to wave down the waitress to take our order after sitting there for several minutes - 30 minutes later and still no food. Apparently our order wasn't put in although the tables around us who came in after we did had received their food. We ended up just getting the check for our drinks and made it to our concert with 5 minutes to spare - no food and starving. This place sucks! Would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

It sucks because this place is so close to our home , we waited 27 minutes and still did not receive any service , day time is not as bad , we have gave it a few tries since its close to us , but night time on a Wednesday we will not come again , only one person on shift it seemed , very dirty , made me very upset . read more

We went in here because we were nuts for some wings and they gave us this. They don't fry any of their chicken, its all baked, which is absolutely nutz for a wings place. It was all overcooked, and my chicken tenders were covered in the red dye from the paper they were served on. I couldn't bring myself to eat it so I just left it there. The place is really dirty. The menus were sticky and the napkin holder was covered in dust. As far as food one thing you should have at a wing restaurant is homemade ranch. Unfortunately they had hidden valley ranch out of a bottle. Our party didn't receive our food at the same time. The wings came out about halve an hour after the other food. Really good! First time trying it and we really enjoyed! I love how we get a lot of combining options! My husband loves the boneless wings And I love the bone in wings.. so we do get an option to get them both.. the flavor was great we love traditional and it was very traditional to me. I love that they don't Breaded the chicken with flour or bread crumbs ( like buffalo hot wings does) The chips were great too!our waiter was helpful and friendly. And the place is kids friendly even though they have bar and beer! In fact they make plain wings for the children, I love it, we'll comeback for sure!!! read more

Stop! Don't even think about going to Wing Nutz In Sandy, we waited 3 hours for our order before we left. we were told repeatedly that they were busy and it was on its way. Ultimately we got an apology about the malfunction, but then we were told it would be another 35 minutes.!!!! Hilarious! Can't put our order ahead of Doordash. Clearly they don't care about customers in the actual restaurant. To add to the fun, they offered to comp is for the wings that never came. To be fair, the server did comp us for our drinks. If I could rate this place a zero I would I came here with my family and the lady that took our drink order and food order, gave us attitude . We got to this location at 1:36, our order didn't come out until 2:46 . Called in for a take out order late on a Sunday evening. There was probably two tables of people in the whole facility when I arrived. I specifically asked for the bundt cake when I called on the phone. I got there and left with my order and arrived home to see no bundt cake however I was billed for it. I understand this is an oversight but the fact that they couldn't refund my card without me being there and also offered me nothing but "next time you are in tell them josh said to give you a bundt cake" - the cake I already paid for. Absolutely pathetic. I wish I had never even left a tip on my takeout order. The least they could do is either refund me, offer me something above what happened, or send a driver to my house with it. Lauren and I have been watching First We Feast's "Hot Ones" show lately and today felt like getting some wings for dinner! We hadn't tried Wing Nutz yet and were in the area, so stopped by for dinner. The vibe of this location definitely had a bar or sports bar feel, which is ideal for a wing joint. We found a seat and had drinks pretty quick. The place wasn't really busy, so it was pretty quiet for a holiday evening. We started with the chips and salsa, which was tasty and a table favorite. Lani ordered the kid's nachos and enjoyed them. Lauren and Cheryl split a large order with Caribbean Jerk and Sweet BBQ. They loved them, and liked that they weren't breaded at all (seemed healthier?) I ordered a regular and split between Parmesan Curry and Southern Hotties (no purgatory yet; next time!). I loved them! The Southern Hotties had heat, and was delicious; and the Parmesan was just spiced well and very tasty. Highly recommend that pairing. We will definitely be back; the service was great, the food was good, and I'll be stirring up some Purgatory Parmesan next time! read more

One of my favorite stops for a quick, healthy bite to eat. Yes, it's a restaurant / bar, but they serve an awesome vegetable platter, or colorful vegetables as a side option. My favorite is the quesadilla with a side of vegis. I like the atmosphere too. It isn't your typical "bar." read more

The food was good and all the veggies on my burger were amazing. Beautiful display. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely not. We arrived and no one greeted us, so we found a seat. We brought an infant, so a member of my party asked for a high chair and someone told her they'd get it. Instead, I found one on my own. No one seemed to care to recognize that we had entered, even though no one was helping anyone. I went in search of menus because we sat and no one came. As we started to look through the menu, the server showed up with a few menus. We looked it over and ordered our food. Then waited...and waited....and waited. After about 30 minutes, I went over to one of the waiters (who was standing around chatting with a cook) and asked him how long I should expect the food to be. He quickly addressed the question and said all that was left was plating the food. I'm not sure why two meals took over 30 minutes to cook. No apology, no discount. All the whole, we waited on our food and the table next to us was give not two, not three, but four servings of their alcoholic beverage. Not a single check in of our table. The meal itself was good. Sandy location has the worst employees. So rude, couldn't care less to give a good experience to a costumer. I haven't even tried the food. Called twice to place a take out order, closed 40 minutes before closing time getting a rude hello and "sorry for the inconvenience" from Dalton(who said was the manager) also on the 3rd try calling; and never answered the second time when my husband tried to order at 7pm a couple weeks after the first attempt. It's very weird and unprofessional. These kids need serious guidance and help on how to communicate, and fulfill orders the correct way. It's too bad. This place isn't as hyped up as Buffalo Wild Wings. What I do like about BWW is their fried pickles and cheese curds. The choice is, do you like BWW fried wings or do you like Wing Nutz baked wings? Both are good, for me it all comes down to the sauces. So I like both places for different things. This place had great hog wings, they were tender and juicy and the parmesan curry had a nice touch to it. The zesty orange, and mango pom chipotle were just okay while the Carolina mustard were great tasting loaded with flavor. What I didn't like about this location was that the service was horrible, didn't come and check on us, didn't fill our drinks. and I had to chase them down to give us the check. The good thing about this place vs BWW are the music and the tv's do not have their volume full blast where you can at least carry on a conversation at this place. read more

Absolute terrible service we arrived around 1:30 and didn't get our food for over an hour of waiting. The wings were not the best the sauce was quite bland. The waitress didn't do a good job serving us. She mainly was talking to men that were at the bar instead of checking on everyone else that was there. There was only one cook and he was doing the same thing as the waitress by talking to the people at the bar instead of doing his actual job. What can I say? This is a Bar that serves chicken wings! BUT! They are baked, which is how I make mine at home. I've never really understood the deep fried wings, because they flash fry wings so quickly that the skin gets a bit crunchy, but the insides of the wings are kind of mushy and wet. I come here, Wing Nutz, and always get the Blackened Cajun Dust drummies (I always request them be well-done for a nice bite), along with some beers. Gotta say that for 2 people working the place, they sure know how to take care of a crowd. Dalton ("Salty") is just exceptional, what a great guy! Friendly, funny and attentive! Even when the place got crowded FAST. They all really do whatever you ask of them and if something gets messed up, they discount the bill heavily and always make it right. Could the place have more ambiance? Sure, but it's exactly what you want sometimes... just a bar, TV's, wings and beer. Whatever you do, do not get their boneless wings. I received nothing like a wing, it was literally grilled chicken with some sauce on it that wasn't even good! Very upset and disappointed, if I was eating in the restaurant I would of sent it back. This must be new because last time I ate here the wings were great... not sure what happened. I'm a fan of WingNutz because it's one of the few places I can get good wings without having to drive more than 20min for. However I do wish they offered more spicy sauces without having to get a side of their "purgatory" sauce which is so ridiculously hot, they should offer a challenge like Wing Coop or TWC. I like it hot, but not that hot. Oh well, this is still a solid place with ice cold beer and tons of TV's to watch sports. Also, this location shows almost every major UFC fight and there's no cover! It pains me to write this review but I hope things can improve because of it. The waitress we had was short and not very friendly. The buffalo chips I ordered came with some blue cheese dressing. I asked for fry sauce and was charged a dollar for it. I'm pretty easy going so I wasn't upset. Once the food came it just didn't taste very good. The chips were very burnt and even the 1 dollar fry sauce couldn't save them. The chicken was not impressive and the waitress just topped the whole bummer experience out by being unwelcoming and cold. I went here for dinner last night. This restaurant reminds me more of a bar atmosphere vs. a restaurant. When we arrived it looked to be only one waiter, which I found odd since we got there during a prime time for dinner. We started off with some drinks and with the veggie tray. The veggies were quite fresh and very good. There was also quite an assortment. It came with: A slices tomato, some mini pickles, black olives, carrot sticks, celery sticks, cucumbers, and some dressing for dipping. Once our friends arrived we placed our order. It took quite awhile for us to get our food. Our buffalo chip came out first, and although good they were barely warm. It seemed as though they were sitting out for awhile. Then our wings came. Which again although good were barely warm as well and also seemed to be sitting for awhile. Due to the fact of my food being pretty much cold, this is why I am giving this place 3 stars. read more

Ate here on a Monday night, not too many people in the place. They had a lot of TV's all with the Monday Night Football game on. The atmosphere is what you'd expect of a wing place. The service was quick, I sat at the bar and was well taken care of. There was a good amount of beers on tap and a number of different bottles. While the State of Utah has legislated that its sinful to have drink specials, they had 2.50 domestic 16oz pints on Monday (according to the sign it sounds like its only Monday). The food was good, not great. Their brand's focus is the wings and fries are baked and that's supposed to be healthier The wings were large and you could get a order of 5 or 10 to satisfy one person. They're larger than the wings at Hooters and Wingers. They have a baked taste to them, a few were slightly seared from the heat of baking. My main issue with the food would be their sauces. They have probably 15 to 20 arranged in mild to hot. I prefer a normal run of the mill medium wing sauce. Not coconut, asian, cajun etc etc. That was no where to be found. I didn't even see a mild. I ordered traditional hot and it was hotter than desired but it was the only way I saw to get traditional flavor sauce. They don't do fries either. They do these baked potato coin shaped bites they called buffalo chips. They had a spicy and regular. I had a mix. They were both mediocre at best. And the baking took all the flavor from the plain ones and the spice on the other style probably is put on prior to baking and they just tasted spicy and burnt. I didn't opt for ranch or blue cheese by I think its offered. Pricing was my biggest disappointment. 10 wings is 9.99 and add fries and they're 2.99. Have two beers with that and its 20 bucks for one person. I might have dealt with the fry price if they were a basket of fries. Instead I paid 3 bucks for a small basket of potato coins that were either bland and or spicy burnt tasting. The wing pricing was a touch high for having a lack of normal sauce choices... hot, medium and mild traditional wing sauce. I'd go back if I found out they had a 50 cent wing night. The wings are worth another trip maybe but the "Buffalo Chips" are worth skipping. I think they're appropriately named too... read more
