I didn't think a place that had high reviews and specializes in wings could mess up. This place definitely proved me wrong. They were the most horrible wings my family and I ever had. They were soooooo dry and flavors were so gross. Wings also tasted like they cooked it frozen. The spicy honey bbq was the only decent flavor. We were going to go with a franchise nearby but decided on giving this local mom and pop shop a chance. Anyway, the Tyson wings you can get at HEB tastes better than this...After a couple bites, we just gave up. Worst $60 ever spent. We ended up getting sushi from Aka to cleanse our palette. read more

Found this place on Yelp (pre-Covid), and yes, it's a tiny hole-in-the-wall, but I managed to get a seat, and ate in. The wings were terrific -- meaty, crispy, hot, and saucy! Ordered the "traditional buffalo wings" for take away. When I arrived to pick up the order, I half jokingly asked the employee/owner "so how are these wings?" and he replied "you will become addicted to them". Well he was pretty close! These wings were perfectly done; temperature, flavor and size. Along with the order of 24 wings comes a complimentary order of fries. The fries dropped the rating one star as they were edible but soggy. In fairness, I was not told the fries were addictive and fries do not travel as wings do so I suppose you could interpret my star rating as a star "ranting" for no legitimate reason. Ordered out from here a couple times now. Food is great and fresh. Regular and boneless wings are both made really well and the sauces are on point. Boneless wings stayed crispy even after being sauced up and the regular wings are meaty. The Philly cheesesteak grinder sandwich is a winner too. It's such a big size that it's perfect to share. I'm surprised this place had such high reviews. I ordered for pick up. I walked in and gave my name and they said 3 more minutes. I said ok. She brought out food and I was about to step out and asked if the drinks was inside that came with combos. She said I didn't have a drink. I said ok but looked confused. So she pulled up order, then said oh yes 2 drinks, I go get them and about to leave, She mumbled quietly "no garden burger". I had to clarify, and apparently they had no more gardenburgers. I had to explain to her that I paid for it and finally she went to get her husband. Her husband didn't say a word or look at me, stormed to the cash register to work on giving me a refund. I was mostly pissed that there were many opportunities to tell me that they couldn't complete my order, phone, email, and especially as soon as I told them my name and order. They were planning to let me take the order, go home, realize they didn't put the drinks and one entre, call them, get the refund, knowing they didn't have it from the start of this transaction. The husband got very defensive, didn't apologize and thought I was accusing him of a scam. Overall really poor communication. I'm usually not a karen about these things, but the other customer confirmed with me that I wasn't crazy, she walked out before placing an order. As far as food, if you like your wings extra crispy this might satisfy you. I thought crisp to meat ratio was too high. Bbq sauce flavor was pretty good. Garlic parm favor was pretty good, Caribbean jerk was ordered wet, but we got dry instead and it was very dry. Overall my family was not really a fan of this place. I'll give this place two stars out of respect for the good, fast and friendly service. But if you wanna talk about wings--man.... I ordered the Cajun dry rub and medium spicy lemon pepper wings, and both of which were pretty underwhelming. The Cajun dry rub was essentially plain wings with "Cajun" spices just poured on top, rather than covering the entirety of the wing (and no I'm not being nit picky, I just know what dry rub should be like on a wing and that wasn't it). Tasted like a store bought, salt-free seasoning to me. The spicy lemon pepper was OK--it was just lacking a kick and that zesty lemon taste it should have. I did take off one star for not offering blue cheese or celery. How they omit these standard wing sides, I have no clue. The sauces were delicious and the medium buffalo had a good kick to it! If you want instant spicy, we'd recommend the hot buffalo. We ordered through their website and there was a 15% discount for online ordering. Once we got to the restaurant we called and they brought our order out to us. I usually don't write reviews but I feel I had to do it for this joint. I was feeling hungry for some wings and wanted to stop by either Buffalo Wild Wings or wingstop. I'm glad I didn't. I decided to give this place a try after passing by it several times. They have a lot of sauce to choose from and I went with the spicy honey bbq and a side of curly fries. It was definitely better than what I had at other chain restaurants. They have been opened for 2 months but you wouldn't know it because it's such a small hole in the wall place.
