    Dan dan noodles

Small place but nice. Staff were kind and the food was delicious. Had the Dan Dan noodles (has peanuts for those with allergies) and spicy wontons. Flavorful and a great portion. Will be back!

Quiet place in Claremont. Ordered Dan Dan Noodles and Pork XLB. The noodles were a little disappointing. The portion of meat was a joke. I asked if they could give me more and I didn't care how much it was but they said they couldn't. XLB was juicy and the dumpling skin wasn't too thick. Service is quick and food comes out quickly. Good for a quick meal with authentic Asian flavors.

Located in a small plaza next to another Chinese restaurant. I was in the plaza waiting for a to-go order from the Filipino restaurant near by when I saw this place. Small seating area inside and they had a good amount of people eating inside. I decided to get their xiao long bao, popcorn chicken, and pan fried dumplings to try. They had 8 pieces of xiao long bao and they were pretty juicy inside. Their popcorn chicken was juicy inside with a crispy batter that was not too thick. It was seasoned nicely with a good portion size. My family liked the xiao long bao and the pan fried dumplings. Closed Tuesdays.

Always love coming here. Food is excellent and not over priced like a lot of restaurants now. Today I had the beef noodle soup and took home the shrimp fried rice. Everything that I've had has been amazing including the Dan Dan noodles and spicy pork shrimp wontons. Not sure why there isnt a line out the door at this restaurant. Don't walk, RUN to this place!! Can't wait until my next visit

Takeout order - beef rolls, fried pork dumplings, cabbage/shrimp/pork dumplings. Alllll delicious

We ordered takeout (about 30 min wait on a Sunday night) and got three items. The restaurant itself is relatively small, clean, modern. The service is friendly. As for the food: Beef rolls - smaller and longer than I typically see, but still packed with flavor and would definitely get again! Shrimp and pork dumplings - fully stuffed and deeeelicious! Pan fried pork dumplings - the best and not oily! So happy a place like this opened in Claremont. Hope they stick around for a long time. Hiiiiighly recommended from what I tried!

Im really picky on dim sum and usually on this side of town they are average at best but this place really surprised me. Everything was fresh and flavorful!

A small, simple place with tasty food! Scallion pancake was crispy and flakey. Soup dumplings are super fresh and tasty. Not too salty. Pan fried pork buns are fluffy and crispy on the bottom. Cucumber salad had a sweet soy garlic sauce. Everything made to order and delish!

coming in here gives nice rainy day food. this is a homey vibed small restaurant in a small lot with a few other restaurants and a spa nearby. service was good the lady was very nice and very prompt. you are given a pitcher of water and cups. the food also comes out very fast. as for flavor, this isn't your typical taiwanese cuisine. i haven't had a non oily light colored beef noodle soup but here i did. and it was very good i enjoyed it. the xiao long bao had a good amount of soup inside that burst when you bite it. they also give you ginger and vinegar and soy sauce to dip your dumplings which made them very yummy tasting. i do wish however that the wonton was more flavor and with the spice like maybe a salty flavor, was a little bland, it definitely needed to be dipped in sauce and eated with ginger. as for the xiao long bao i like to dip them in broth so having the noodle soup to couple with it was very nice. i recommend dipping your dumplings and wontons in broth before eating because it tastes yummier. average dish price is $11-$13 good price overall would come back.

Quick friendly service and great food! It's a small hole in the wall restaurant. There was only one server for the whole place and he was on top of it. We were seated right away and immediately brought out waters. The food came out quick too. I've never had Dan Dan noodles with soup before but it was delicious! Very rich and flavorful. This has become a regular spot for me.

Solid food. A bit pricy for the portion amount. Don't come here if you are not okay with mediocre service. The best dish was the chow mein and the bok choi. The beef rolls were okay, the roll was crunchy on the outside but they were small. My sweet custard bun was not custard. When we split the bun in half, the custard was hard like the yolk from hard boiled egg. The dumplings were okay as well. They were not juicy and tastes a bit dry.

The hand-pulled noodle was the star of the show, but don't overlook the steamed dumplings. The broth of my beef noodle soup was flavorful without being too salty. My Ukrainian friend also enjoyed his wonton soup. He commented that the wonton soup is commonly served in Russian, since it shares a border with northern China. The interior was spacious, but some of the tables were too close to comfortably sit without bumping into the neighbor behind me. There's an outdoor table if you want to avoid being in an indoor space. My dog stayed in the car in the shade because she would probably bark at every passerby. Service was average, but the staff allowed us to use the employee bathroom in the kitchen, which was very kind and appreciated because we really needed it after a long hike in Mt. Baldy.

Decent food but a bit cramped seating. Good and quick service. Very authentic and seems to be pretty popular.

The broth is the real star here. Rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered for hours, it has that perfect depth that makes you want to keep sipping long after the noodles are gone. Whether you go for tonkotsu, shoyu, or spicy miso, each one is packed with layers of flavor that feel both authentic and thoughtfully crafted. The noodles have the ideal texture--springy, chewy, and never mushy. You can tell they're made or cooked with care because they hold up beautifully in the broth without getting lost in it. The toppings are just as impressive: tender chashu pork that practically melts in your mouth, perfectly soft-boiled eggs with jammy yolks, fresh scallions, and nori that adds just the right finishing touch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the kind of place you can go alone for a comforting meal or bring friends for a casual hangout. Service is quick and friendly, and the staff seems genuinely happy to help you customize your bowl exactly how you like it. Portion sizes are generous, and everything comes out hot and fresh. It's also surprisingly consistent--every visit tastes just as good as the last, which is rare and really appreciated. If you're looking for ramen that feels both comforting and high quality, this place absolutely delivers. It's the kind of spot you start craving before you've even left.

Very peaceful. Service: Good service. No complaints. Cooking technique: One of the best chongqing style fried chicken I've ever had. Beautifully fried, not greasy. Everything was cooked so well, it's impressive. Price: 10/10 Great prices. Mala/spiciness: 1/10 I really wish this place was spicy. I love sichuan food and I have an extreme spice tolerance so maybe this place is spicy for people who normally eat mild spice but for me, I expect so much more from Sichuan food. I was conflicted writing this review because sincerely the cooking was nearly perfect. It just had no spice to me. If it was spicier, it would easily be in the top 5 of my favorite Sichuan places just based on the cooking technique.
