However, when I ordered I was advised the food would be at my door at 8:20, so at 8:10 I get a message from the driver explaining my order was given away and they had to prepare it again. So another 35 minutes go by and the driver is on the way, but at least it will be hot and fresh (That thought was wrong). So the driver makes her delivery and I received luke warm wings, SMOTHERED in sauce (when I asked for it on the side) and a single piece of cheese bread which I am not joking was a single piece of sourdough bread with cheese and avocado on it! Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. The floor is completely sticky, you couldn't take a step without your shoes getting stuck. None of the tables were being wiped down after other guests left unless you asked them to be. Even when they did wipe ours down - they asked us to wipe off half the table because they couldn't reach it. The bathrooms were also a hot mess. The service was mediocre. She helped if we asked for something but was not proactive at all. Given the current expectations with sanitization due to COVID, I was shocked at the care and cleanliness of this place. This place is under new ownership and is now amazing! They have a full bar (which they didn't before) and the food is better than ever! It's packed and that says a lot due to previous ownership it didn't have the same vibe it needed that it now has. I love their aioli fries sooooo good and the Thai and also the sweet habanero wings. They have THE best wings in Modesto! Good location with PLENTY of parking. The neighborhood is nice and not dirty. Restaurant 1. size - it's medium sized, it's always busy so it can either look small or bigger,but there is always accommodations if you wait. 2. Wait time- it can be 5 minutes or 10 minutes, they don't take reservations 3. Staff- I feel like lately they could use a training session on customer service, but what can ya do! My hubby and I decided to give this spot another chance. It was Friday night, this place is close to home and it was open late! The manager and servers were awesome. They have definitely improved this place. The portions are back to the normal amount..just like the previous owner owner had it. They are now serving mixed drinks and beer which I prefer. I was pretty disappointed with our experience at Buffalo Wings & Rings. We tried the garlic, teriyaki, Thai, and lemon pepper flavored sauces. Been here awhile back. Then again semi recent. The service has been improved drastically. If you have had a bad experience I would say try it again. Server on ticket was Megan but did not ask to see if the same person serving. Talked to the person I assume is the owner last time I was here and he was very receptive to the conversation. The food was good. We ordered our wings extra crispy but they weren't crispy. Don't come on a weekend in the evening. This place is an absolute zoo. Good luck trying to get service. We were here for about an hour and a half before our food came. The waitress was nice. She wasn't very good at serving though. We had absolute great service by our server, Lily! She was very attentive and very accommodating! This is our wings spot! Food has always been excellent and the wings are packed with flavor. However, I feel like the customer service is not as good as before. I'm not sure if it's because of new management? But we have been going there for 4 years now and it has never been like this. Today we walked in, got seated right away but not even a single person came to take our drinks in. Keep in mind we were there for 10 minutes waiting and one of the girls working there saw our table and didn't bother to go over. There were plenty of servers and they just seemed to be playing around, laughing. We had to just walk out. I've been here several times when I'm in Modesto and have always had great service. It gets super busy at times but the staff has always been friendly and attentive.
