I have only had wings and more twice, but both times were great! I am from Dallas texas, so I rarely get to stop by. The first time I came by was back in August, and the last was yesterday for lunch around 1:10 pm. Both times I was lucky to have the same server. She is a beautiful tall blonde with glasses, I just found out she was pregnant this time around-the first time not knowing at all! I honestly do not remember her name, but as soon as I saw her I remembered her and I told the sweet hostess with glasses "I WANT HER!" That was today. She did tell me her name this morning when she greeted me, but I forgot it already. I am 68 years old and I literally had my daughter in law help me make this yelp, just so I can let the world no what great amazing service you guys have! And not to mention your food is amazing! If I lived in Austin, I would make it my effort to stop by once or twice a week! You guys are a beautiful family restaurant and have one of the best servers I have EVER had in my life time. Never again. I went here a couple years back and it was ok, thought I'd give it another try instead of Baby A's across the street. When we arrived the place looked disheveled...kinda felt like a bad hangover. The tables weren't bussed, smelled mildewy, hostesses flirting with the manager up front, felt understaffed but looked over staffed- I was frankly confused. We decided to sit at the bar. Our waitress seemed new but had been there long enough to at least do the job at a minimal level- I'd say the product of bad hiring and training. We asked for the $4 dollar pint special, she said it was a tall $4 special instead so we agreed. She brought the pint without saying why and after we told her we wanted the tall special she recommended, she said it was actually not a special because it was not a domestic...thanks for asking I guess? We then asked for a Drink menu to which she replied "they don't have one because they are working on it. They've been working on it for 2 weeks LOL". Side note, there was a patron who was clearly intoxicated. Asking the others at the bar for the rest of their food and swaying uncontrollably. It was super uncomfortable to watch. One of the bartenders even told him to "chug" some water. The manager (from what it looked like) walked past him multiple times. The bartenders apparently knew him since they have him a hug at the end. So we get our food. It was pretty good for the price hence the 2 stars. But I ordered another beer half way through which was forgot 3 times. The first time the waitress acknowledged, the 2nd time she forgot to ring it in, the 3rd time when she came to the table without it, I just cancelled- we had to go and we're running late. I really had higher hopes for this place. I hope this gets printed and posted in the restaurant for training. I work in a restaurant group locally and would probably do the same. read more

Another disappointment after good reviews. I ordered three kinds of wings; all were edible, not great, they seemed dry and not freshly cooked. The mozarella sticks were pretty good, and had a good dipping sauce. The brownie sunday dessert was also tasty - the brownie part was a little dry, but with the ice cream, whipped cream and walnuts actually tasted pretty good. Service was not good... our server was initially good about getting our drink and food order, but took forever to refill drinks, ask about our interest in dessert, etc. I think after bringing the menu back for dessert he didn't come back to ask for our order for at least 15-20 minutes. I had to wave at him (it wasn't a busy night, he was watching TV) to get him over. On the bright side, the food was cheap and the flavors were good. I am a huge fan of wings, especially buffalo wings. ( I mean I got my degree from UB - Buffalo, NY). Let's be clear...NO place makes wings as great as Buffalo. I am always searching for great wings but sadly none compare. After recently moving walking distance from Wings-N-More, I drove by this place a few times before going in one day to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The atmosphere is awesome too...very relaxed and casual. I've gotten the wings & tender platter a few times and just LOVE it. All the different sauces I've gotten have been excellent. The tenders are outstanding too. So crispy on the outside but juicy and moist on the inside. The fries are fresh and crispy as well. The last time I went, I brought my picky family to show them what I had been raving about for a while and they ALL loved it! From the Santa Fe salad to the onion rings...everything was on point. The prices are very reasonable too. Mix in the quality of the food and the chill atmosphere, Wings-N-More is easily amongst my short list of favorite spots in Austin. If you visit, you should check out the cool T-shirts that you can purchase...my favorite is "I like my wings, like I like my women...HOT and SPICY! Nuff' said! read more

Basic food thrown in a deep fry. Had a friend come to town that went to college station a lot and used to always eat there. She wanted to go for nostalgia, I'd rather have eaten McDonalds to tell ya the truth. I think basically, if you're a lady looking for a hookup, you could def find a man up in this place. I can't guarantee he won't have the dirty leg, but hey... LOL. I don't think it's going to be a place I frequent. Can't go wrong with a place with different deals each day for a great price. Mondays are .45 tenders, tuesdays are .45 wings and 2$ tecate, and wednesdays are 5$ burgers. I would always go Mondays or Tuesdays. The wings are good with lots of flavors to choose from. The appetizers are all very good. If you go during happy hour, the prices on certain appetizers are well worth it. The fried pickles are good because its not a whole fried pickle, it was fried slices. The fried ice cream was large and definitely fulfilling, as well as the brownie sundae. I will definitely be back for the desserts. The decoration of the place is not all that fancy or great, but it didn't really bother me much because the wings made up for it. Will be back since it is not too far from home. read more

Went last Saturday for a quick lunch during work, didn't want to order a lot of food as to not feel full all day. Ordered the 5 piece boneless wings, when I got them, it looked like 5 nuggets from chik Fil a. The fries were hard and had no flavor at all. This is my first time eating here, have them a try after walking out on them a while back because no waiter wanted to sit a party of 2 adults and 3 kids and we waited 20 minutes by the door and just walked. Ordered takeout for my son and I and our food was great other than the fact that the fried mushrooms tasted spoiled, the fries were stale like they had been sitting there for a while and I ordered a cheesecake that cost $6.99 which I didn't mind paying for until I actually got the cheesecake it was NOT worth $7 by all means considering the size of it and the fact that it was literally blended up cream cheese poured on top of walnuts LITERALLY there was no sweetness to it whatsoever. read more

Wings N more is back! I have been a long time customer of wings n more but had to take a step back when the wings changed?! Yes they changed, all of sudden started sourcing giant wings? traditionally they served small wings which were absolutely perfect and deliciously. suddenly they starting serving really large wings, which were horrible. I complained and complained "Where are the small wings? What you have you done with my favorite wings!!!" So I stop going to Wings N More... it killed my game nights. My favorite wing place was gone. Until tonight I took a leap of Faith and went to Wings N More again and low and behold they had small wings again. Crispy and delicious and as always remember loved. The hostess was very off putting, she took us to our table and basically pushed everything to the wall to the point where the roll of napkins flipped over and fell, she didn't even bother to say sorry or pick it up. However, the waitress was very kind! Before the wings came out we decided to order the mango margaritas and they tasted like slushee's w/ just a hint of tequila.. Everything is overpriced for the quality! Fries and veggies are sold individually, just a heads up. Considering how the boneless wings look like small chicken bites and the bone in/boneless looked like they've been microwaved and sent out in 10mins. We weren't fans. I ordered take out Friday night and decided to get the wings and ribs plate; I picked corn as a side( which was super basic, it was just your typical boiled corn no butter or anything on it. Also got the macaroni salad which I was totally disappointed on, I was hoping for a whole different taste but it was very odd tasting.) Also got a side of curly fries, they didn't have any seasoning and were very plain. Kinda bummed about that, was able to eat them with ketchup. For dessert we got the cheesecake, didn't know it was going to be stuffed in a cup and it was like a whipped texture? It wasn't bad. It came with a side of strawberry syrup, very artificial tasting. Finally, the ribs were pretty good, the meat was falling off the bones and it wasn't dry what so ever. The wings were disappointing though, I got garlic parmesan flavor but the wings were drenched in sauce that just tasted like butter and they weren't really topped with Parmesan. :/ I am gong to give this place another chance, but I will dine in instead. I tried this place because of a groupon and I love wings. I was quoted 15 minutes and arrived in 20. Things started out well. Before I left, the individual who helped me with my takeout order checked my order in front of me. Everything looked good. Upon my arrival at home, I realized that they gave me the wrong dipping sauce. Not that big of a deal. On to the food. I ordered the tender and wing combo with garlic medium wings and a separate order of 10 garlic parmesan. The tenders had no flavor. It's as if there was no seasoning in the batter. Tenders were also not crispy at all. Same issue with the curly fries. No flavor or seasoning and not crispy. Both had to be put into the oven and salt added. The wings were cold and extremely greasy. The flavor of the medium garlic was actually not bad but compared to other notable wing joints in town, it's just ok. The garlic parmesan was some of the worst wings I've ever tasted. There was barely any parmesan on the the wings and biting into them felt like piercing an oil bomb. No flavor at all for these wings. The only saving grace for this place would be the price. Prices were reasonable compared to other wing joints and the restaurant itself did have TVs with sports playing. But the food was terrible. read more

This one star is mainly due to my experience tonight. As we normally sit at the bar. Tonight some family joined so we chose the dining area. First of all, your hostess says it will be 7 minutes to seat you approx 2-3 times before she actually seats you. Why 7 minutes where your customers will remember the odd number? Second, your waitstaff is lacks much waitstaff knowledge. None of us received waters. Ok and here is the worst of it all: 1. Ordered tenders with sauce on the side, brought out tenders doused in sauce. Manager had to come verify how we wanted them 2. Orders came out slow. In fact y'all doubled one of the wing orders. Tried to place it on the table. 3. Not once was I asked if I wanted another beverage. 4. Here's where I am just at a loss; do I have to beg you to allow me to pay? We asked a alternate waiter for the check, our own waiter, finally got the wrong check when I asked the manager for it on the way to the ladies room. Lastly our bills were completely wrong. You tried to charge us for 30 tenders, when we ordered 10, charging for the wrong ones that initially came out? Second it took 2 corrections to our bill til we finally caved in and paid for whatever bc at that point the one margarita I did have bc refills were not offered to me was not assisting in my annoyance level of lack of service. Their boneless wings are Texas size and great for ordering for parties. The staff is wonderful and engaging. Been wanting to try Wings & More for a while. My first time will NOT be my last! Anyone would expect the wings to be good; but these were FABULOUS!! I ordered boneless, spicy garlic wings. They were massive and perfectly seasoned. They were spicy, without taking my head off, with a nice, garlicky flavor. I also enjoyed their 1/2 rack of ribs. A bit on the small side, but great flavor and fall-of-the-bone tender. Their chili was spicy enough, but a bit soupy for my liking. I'd get it again, just to save myself the work of making my own. Their delivery service was prompt enough; but I think my next venture will be a personal visit. Wings & More has easily replaced Buffalo Wild at the top of my list for wings. read more

Usually I have a good visit here but not tonight. Was disgusted from the start. First some got someone so drunk and let this person drive off hitting 2 cars. Then we have to wait for service to be seated, there was nobody waiting and it wasn't busy. So we finally get seated and the server right away has a weird tone. Okay so I try not to complain too much but seriously, get it together. Last time I went in it was 20 minutes or so before close and the girl who sat me was completely rude. Gotta have the Chipotle Honey Mustard Wings! The food here is fantastic! The BEST pickle chips you are going to find anywhere. they are thin, crispy, and always fresh out of the fryer. Then, onto the WINGS!! I will sometimes revert back to BUFF HOT, theirs is just right on the heat, but get 'em with blue cheese. Their blue cheese recipe is made in-house and its creamy, with some big chucks of blue cheese. But my Go-To has got to be their Chipotle Honey Mustard sauce. this stuff is liquid GOLD!! the fresh wings absorb the sauce and take on a next level taste experience. You gotta try 'em. They also have a kickin' brunch (on weekends), go watch some football, get a Bloody Mary, some great brunch; eggs to waffles to menudo, and relax and enjoy your weekend !! read more

We used to frequent Pluckers for wings, but now that we've convinced our roommate that there's a place less than a mile from us where you can get wings AND ribs on one plate, this is the new spot. Today we came for my husband's birthday and we were helped by Ashley who was a total angel and incredibly helpful. We talked about our kids and our love of super sweet tea. Much improved service here since the last review. Gave them another shot and have been visiting nearly once a week for awhile. The boneless wings now have me addicted and living up the street makes them difficult to resist. After making a selection I made eye contact with the server but she walked off to kitchen with a grumpy look on her face so I left. Been coming here for years, While although the service was amazing(thank you Ashley!) I must say there is a noticeable change in the tenders. I am extremely disappointed and if I could be honest I probably will not be coming back. This was my spot to come to every Monday since tenders were on sale(and delicious) and I'd always come with my car buddies but with this change I guess it's time to find somewhere new, they just don't taste the same anymore. Giving 3 starts because of the service Ashley provided but if I had to rate my last 2 to 3 experiences with the food I'd say 2/5 stars. Sigh. Slow, poor service. Obnoxious and loud music the whole time. Took about 30 to get drinks, then 15 to get a waitress, then about 40 mins to get our food. No silverware then the order wasn't what we ordered. And the kicker... a bug in the bottom of my cup. The absolute worst dining experience I have ever experienced. We visited on 9/6/19 at 9:30PM. Party of 4 adults. This is not the Wings n More experiences I'm used to. read more
