We went to MasFajitas rather than wait 90 minutes for Texas Roadhouse, and it was a good call! The menu was big but not overwhelming, with lots of good choices. The service was friendly and not intrusive. We were all very happy with our choices. I wanted something lighter, so I went for the quesadilla Birria, which just came with pico, sour cream, and guacamole. At first glance, I was a little disappointed that it didn't have that grilled crusty look you get in Birria Tacos, but this was actually a quesadilla-- and after the first bite, especially once I dipped it in the consume that came with the plate, I was a big fan. My companions, both got a fajita platter, a mixed spicy chicken, sausage, and shrimp thing, I think. Our server was fun and friendly. Always enjoy lunch here and now they serve breakfast and it is amazing! I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo, jalapeno-cheese sausage and scrambled eggs-so good! My friend had beautiful pancakes with strawberries that I can't wait to have next time. Service is friendly and attentive and prices very reasonable for the generous servings. During my recent initial visit to MasFajitas in Pflugerville, TX, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was as pleasant as possible. Our drinks stayed full. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out and made us feel welcome. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The fajitas I ordered arrived unsliced, making them difficult to enjoy. It was missing some of that skillet tasting flavor with seasoning. Otherwise, it came on a nice hot skillet. So my experience I will rate the fajitas like a 2.5. Additionally, my family ordered the birria tacos which they said lacked the rich, savory flavor typically associated with this dish, they all stated their experience was quite bland. My friend ordered the pulled pork plate, but unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression either. It was bland as well. He let me taste it and I must say from my experience it just was missing the zest of flavor from a traditional pulled pork. While the culinary experience fell short, the outstanding service provided by the staff was a redeeming aspect of our visit. I hope my next experience the kitchen can elevate the quality of their dishes to match the high standard of their staff's service. Alcoholic beverages were pretty tasty but not too strong not too light. I will their drinks an 8. Our table pretty tight for a group of six. They were fairly busy, so service was a tad slow...but for us...we are Never in a hurry for lunch with really nowhere to be. Salsa was a bit smoky...Chips were fresh...We also ordered street corn in a cup...good, but with they would use fresh charred corn for a better flavor...They said they forgot the Mayo and brought out packets of Mayo to add...not sure if this is how they roll, but it worked out as the wife is not a fan of Mayo anyway...so she had her share and I added Mayo to the rest. So my friend wanted to come to this place cause he'd been there once. I was waiting for him in the parking lot and decided to look up the reviews on yelp; let's just say I wasn't looking forward to what was to come. Fortunately I was proven wrong. First off, like a few of the reviews say, the staff is very friendly. Our waitress was Donna and she was very kind, courteous and helpful. She even put up with my annoying friend, a real trooper she was. The chips were good, the salsa was as well but the green sauce for the chips was outta this world. A+ I ordered the Pollo Loco & Shrimp. It was great and I gotta have it again the next time I go back. Most of the other reviews had negative things to say about certain dishes, but I can only speak on what I tried myself and I wasn't disappointed. Also the atmosphere wasn't what I thought it'd be according to some of the reviews. It was very pleasant for lunch. Maybe they get rowdy at night? Who knows. I can share that I've had nothing but good experiences and I've come here at least 6 times now! It's one of my new favorite places! I've come with my partner, brought some of my besties here and enjoyed their happy hour (the drink specials are really good) and even had a friend's Birthday lunch here! The food is so good and staff has always been super friendly ! I love their salsa and the thin chips! For appetizers I've had the Shrimp Ceviche Tostada which is amazing and the Fiesta Fries which have enchilada sauce on them! For entrees the (Mario's Enchi-Guisada, Beef Fajitas, Carnitas platter, Beef Birria Tacos, Protein Bowl and the Mas Fajitas Salad) are all so good! Came in on a packed Friday night expecting the usual chaos that comes with a busy Tex-Mex spot, but wow... this place was running like a well-oiled machine, and the reason was crystal clear Karina. Karina wasn't just our server she was the superhero of the entire restaurant. She had her own full section, yet somehow she was also helping behind the bar, seating guests as the host, jumping in to bus and reset tables the second someone left, and still managed to check on us constantly with a genuine smile. Refills appeared before we even asked, chips and salsa never ran low, and our food came out hot and fast even though every seat in the house was full. The fajitas themselves? Ridiculously good sizzling, perfectly seasoned, and portioned like they want you to take leftovers home.The beef was tender, the chicken was juicy, and those charred onions and peppers... chef's kiss. But honestly? Karina made the night. I've been in the service industry myself and I know how insane a slammed Friday can get. The fact that she kept the whole floor moving, stayed positive, and still gave every table personalized attention is next-level. Give that woman a raise, a bonus, and whatever award y'all have. I don't write reviews but tried this place yesterday and had hair in my food not once but TWICE!!!! When our food came the server placed my plate down and I immediately spotted the short wavy hair and the server took my plate from me and made a fresh one which was fine. I get my second plate and it was fresh. Only ate a lil at the restaurant bc I filled up on chips and salsa but I took the rest home as I didn't eat the enchilada that came w the meal. Decided to give it a try since FD's closed. Very mediocre Tex-Mex. First thing I noticed was the chips were covered with grease. The salsa was pretty tasty. Had a lot of things not normally on a Tex-Mex menu. I had the loco pollo and shrimp plate. Fairly tasty, but the shrimp kinda overpowered the flavor of the marinade. Would've been better if just chicken. The cheese topping was a solid mass, and not stringy. It came off all at once, so you had to cut it. They used a VERY lean cut of meat that was cut into strips; was dry and lacked flavor. The Charro Beans were not authentic Charro beans.
