Overcooked wings- pretty tough and flavorless
    Meagan M.

Super sad to post this review because we have been coming here for years. But the quality is just not there anymore. The past few times we have gotten it, the wing quality is really small, overcooked and hardly any meat. The sauces don't have the same kick that they used to. All in all just missing what it used to be.

I only had a takeout experience here, but it was pretty good. When I walked through the front door, I was directed to the back wall with the double windows to place to-go orders. Once I placed my order, it didn't take long for it to come out. Food: I had Homemade Onion Rings and 15-piece wings with Lemon Pepper, Medium, and Garlic Parmesan. The Onion Rings were thin-cut and lightly battered, but they still had a nice crunch to them, too. The wings were no frills or thrills, but they were classics, so it would be great if someone were craving wings like I was. My favorites were the Medium Buffalo flavor and Lemon Pepper. I liked the spicy and tangy flavors of the buffalo and the sharp tang from the lemon pepper, so those hit the spot. The garlic parmesan was more plain and less flavorful, so it was my least favorite. Overall, now that I have had the wings, I would go back to either more Wings or try the "N' More" part of the menu, lol. They have so many options, and they have Happy Hours. Another customer getting takeout told me their Margaritas were good, too.

Traditional sports bar with loud speakers on the tv, late night dj playing, and the best bar area to watch your favorite team. I loved the buffalo shrimp wrap and the curly fries. They have an option on the appetizers for you to pick two of the price of one! I recommend the fried pickles and the mushrooms! On Sundays they have an amazing happy hour! I enjoyed half prized appetizers and frozen margaritas bigger than my head! If you sit at the bar, ask for Mya, she's beautiful, attentive, friendly and awesome at making mixed drinks and shots! My favorite place to make new friends! You'll have a great time and your stomachs will be happy! And don't make the mistake to park where the towing signs are! There's plenty of parking, but the nearby establishments are quick to tow you if you park where you're not supposed to!

Our server was nice, but it took a really long time for our food to come out. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so I don't know what the hold up was. Then they brought me seasoned fries when I asked for them unseasoned. The chipotle honey mustard wings are good. The flavor is sweet with just a little spice. They only come with a couple of carrot sticks, so if you want fries, you have to order them separately. The curly fries were good, well cooked.

Received chicken tenders. But, i ordered wings.

Do not order from here unless you want something completely different from what you want! I place an order for take out for wings. But, when i picked it up, i guess they did not check the order before packing. I received chicken tender instead. I tried calling but, no one answer. Their answering machine line just went in circles. Very disappointed.

If I could give it more stars I would! Been coming here since I was little and NO other place beats them. I could probably eat this everyday I love their drinks and wings my whole family is a big fan

The food literally has no seasoning or flavor to it and it's over cooked. It's like they just deep fried everything but didn't use salt, pepper, or any other spices. Bland!

This is $5.67!? Keep in mind they only have 1 option for fries so this isn't a " small".

Never Uber Eats, they over charge and don't even put the right amount of food. They take over an hour to prepare just for the food to be cold. I was charged $5.67 for this amount of fries. Keep in mind there are only 1 option for " crinkle cut fries" so this isn't a "small".

Be advised this review was blocked and hidden on google. UPDATE [12/9/2025]: The owner responded below asking me to contact them to resolve this. Do not be fooled- this is a stall tactic, and for show. Notice how the responses are the same for the previous negative reviews. According to their website this is the correct email address, (info@wingsnmore-austin.com) I attempted to email the address they provided immediately, but it was inactive and bounced. I then called the restaurant and was given the runaround by a Manager who provided this address, (BrianMnonaco@gmail.com), Ive confirmed the spelling with her multiple times. I was told the General Manager, Brian Monaco was unavailable. I've sent my response to four separate email addresses (including the one from their website and the one the manager finally gave me). It has been several business days, and I have been completely ignored. It is clear their reply below is just a generic copy-paste to make themselves look good to future customers. They have no intention of addressing the poor service. [Initial Review] Cynthia O was a terrible waiter, she did not deserve the 20% tip that they automatically added. She had a bland attitude, barely visted the table, messed up orders, and was slow. And this was for a birthday party with family. I understand if it's a big party, it can take time to serve is all. However, they were dead slow with three other customers. There are three waitresses present with the hostess and they rarely left their booth while on their phone. So you tell me if there is any incentive to even do the basics when it comes to service. Since the tip is already included there was obviously no need to serve adequately, and it showed tonight unfortunately. Food took forever to get here, the food was cold by the time it hit the table. The wings were dry. We had to ask multiple times for our sides, and drinks. By the time we got our side which was supposed to be large fries, it was cold and not even a filling the bowl. The photo attached is how we got the fries. The waiters are on their phone and talking behind the bar with multiple drinks waiting at the counter. Our party had to go to the bar multiple times to the bar to get our drinks since we were sitting there, watching them kick it. This was beyond infuriating. Also they didn't have any slush drinks and no ketchup...seriously no ketchup, so we ate dry and cold fries. Also someone wanted to place a to go order, but she had to place it ONLINE since the waiter was nowhere to be found. If you're planning to go here. Don't.

Bumped to a 4 because this is hard to find around here. We got: - shrimp yoli (if you only order one dish, get one with this SAUCE. It's to die for. The shrimp had too much seasoning that it was a little choke worthy and I NEVER complain about flavor. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed. The ambience was great! The host was attentive and cordial, and our server, Eliseo, was incredible from start to finish. There were so many great choices on the menu that I asked for his recommendations, and he took the time to explain different options, what they came with, and what customers usually enjoyed most. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care that I had a great first experience there. I decided to go with the Chorimigas based on his suggestion. I also noticed that Carne Guisada was on the menu and asked how it compared to a competitor's. Without me expecting it, Eliseo brought out a small portion for me to try so I could decide for myself, which really shows how much he goes above and beyond for his guests. I'm so glad he did! The carne guisada was delicious, if not better than the competitor's. The flavor was unique but still classic and comforting. Chef Mina heard my comments about the carne guisada and came out to introduce herself. I turned beet red, it was unexpected but very flattering! (I got a bit emotional as it was a rough morning.) She was incredibly hospitable and asked for my opinion and thoughts on the competitor. It was a brief but meaningful conversation about the dishes, and I truly appreciated her taking the time to connect. Eliseo remained attentive throughout the entire visit, checking in at the right times, making sure everything tasted great, and keeping a friendly, welcoming attitude the whole time. His service truly elevated the entire experience, and I can't thank him enough for going the extra mile. I highly recommend him!!! I even purchased a souvenir coffee mug because I couldn't leave without one! This truly made my morning!!! I'll definitely be coming back for the carne guisada. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant! (Used Google Translate)

John passed away in early 2024, while his family took over the shop in Pflugerville. Now just about a decade after opening shop, Brotherton's is closing down at the end of August. Following John's passing, they've hit a few road bumps from the rising cost of beef that's been plaguing Texas BBQ. Earlier in January they posted on social media how they were struggling, and again last spring. At the start of August, the Brotherton's family announced Brotherton's Black Iron BBQ in Pflugerville was shuttering for good at the end of August. Knowing this would be the last time I would be able to try it, my buddy and I took an extended lunch break on a Friday to give it a shot. Upon arrival at just around 11:50, we noticed that the parking lot was packed with multiple food trucks and other businesses filling the shopping center. We got lucky with a parking spot far away as we marched inside to wait in line. On the door lay plenty of stickers from different BBQ joints from Texas and beyond, with even some coming from overseas. The line moved slowly but surely, and as we got to the front we got our three-meat plate with a bonus slice of turkey for good measure. We ended up getting to Brotherton's at the perfect time because we got the final slices of brisket on that glorious Friday. I'll share my thoughts on everything we tried: Brisket: Though it looked like a great cut that was nicely seasoned, it was pretty fine overall. Nothing remarkable about their brisket while still very fatty. Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage: Juicy, cheesy, not really too spicy on the jalapeño side of things, but that might just be from the mildness of jalapeños these days. Pork Ribs: These suckers looked incredible from the pictures I saw online and on social media, but they were kinda disappointing based on how incredible they looked visually. They were good, just not as epic as I was hoping. Turkey: Turkey is underrated in the BBQ scene, and this is no exception. A nice cut of meat! Cornbread Casserole: I could've eaten the whole thing myself, so it was a shame that we were sharing. Green Chili Mac and Cheese: I'll repeat myself. I could've eaten the whole thing myself, so it was a shame that we were sharing. As a whole, I'm very glad I gave them a shot before I would never be able to again. That's the hardest part about Texas barbecue. The best places and the historic spots can drop in a moment's notice when hardships hit or the meat prices skyrocket. Sadly, I can tell that they're already at the end of their rope with certain menu options like the loaded nachos and baked potatoes, which always seem like the sign of the end. And with how the food was simply just decent overall, it's hard to justify the rising prices. I see reviews all over saying their quality has fallen off year after year following JMFB's passing, and it makes sense: he was the heart and the soul of the business. When that vaporizes overnight, it's only a matter of time. I don't wish for the downfall of any spot, but I understand that it's bound to happen to certain ones. RIYL: Paying respects to one of the greats in Texas BBQ

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

We used to always come here for special occasions but decided to come for happy hour. When we were…read moreseated, we asked for a HH menu and were told the server would bring it. Then the server tells us they don't do HH in the main dining room, only the bar area and didn't ask us if we'd like to move seats. Have never been to another restaurant that only serves HH in specific areas and I don't see the logic in that. The food has also gone downhill since our last visit despite the prices.

Perfect Birthday Celebration at Roaring Fork!…read more On Sunday I celebrated my birthday at Roaring Fork with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Between the exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and attentive service, it was the perfect birthday celebration. I highly recommend Roaring Fork for a special occasion or a relaxing Sunday meal with family and friends.

First time to this location. The parking lot has ample spaces and we arrived about 1pm for lunch…read more We were seated immediately and the booth was super comfy. The ac was cold !! And there is a giant tv wherever you look. All the football and sports! Our server was super polite and quick to grab drink and app order. We had tea and water then ordered wings with fries. They have changed the menu and it's pretty impressive all the food optionthey have. Wings to burgers to salads they seem to have it all. The drink menu for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks is huge as well. I will try strawberry lemonade next time. The wings came out pretty quick and were hot and tasty. The fries were fresh and hot as well. We had a great experience and will be back. I hate to say but the service at most BW3s is usually horrible, but today it was great and so was overall experience. Like I said we will be back!!

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to speak on. We sat at…read morethe bar, and Nicole was our server. From the start, her attitude was poor. Every time I tried to order, she would cut me off mid-sentence, making the whole interaction feel rushed and dismissive. The place wasn't busy, but she carried herself like it was, and I could hear her speaking to other guests the same way, so it clearly wasn't just us. I'm someone who genuinely likes to take care of people who take care of me, so I didn't want to give her a hard time but the service made it hard to enjoy being there. Unfortunately, the food didn't help either. The fries were cold and hard, the burger was underwhelming, and the wings weren't good at all. I still paid and didn't send anything back because that's just how I handle things, but overall, a lot needs to change here. I didn't realize this location had such a low rating until after I came in, and now I understand why..
