Tried Wings and Stuff in Koreatown, and while the service was friendly, the food missed the mark. The wings tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while, and the crinkle-cut fries, though cooked well, were coated with a sweet sugar-and-salt seasoning that would've been better served on the side. No veggies came with the meal, and even the daikon radish was $2.50 extra. They really need to add sides to their combos and overall menu to balance out all the fried food. Also, just a heads up: there's only patio seating, and the tables and chairs were pretty flimsy and unstable. There are also no restrooms available, so plan ahead if you decide to stop by. Overall, this place has potential, but they need to refresh their oil, add proper sides, and improve the dining setup for a better experience.

Like a hole in the wall spot with a few small outdoor table to sit. So my friend said this place has the best chicken wings so I have to try it for myself and he was right. We got a half honey mustard wings and half fried wings plus 4 different sauces for it. I personally love the friend wings more. It's piping hot, crispy, and juicy af inside plus sauces on the side. I got honey mustard, cucumber wasabi, spicy mayo, and ranch. The honey mustard wings are good too and they use a different type of wings for this for some reason. They use buffalo wings then toss it in the sauce. It was crispy too but the regular fried wings is juicer. There's a parking lot too. It's right behind the building and that's why you enter the place too. Please follow me on Yelp if you like my vibe or on my IG @eatwithjennime

My friend and I ordered wings n stuff for opening day of the NFL yesterday. Go Rams! Their soy boneless chicken was divine. So plump and I think they use dark meat leading to tons of flavor in the chicken itself. The soy flavoring was really tasty! These were a big win, I just wish they were more crispy. The sweet & spicy was fire! Like legit burned my face off, but I'm weak with spice, my friend enjoyed it lol! We also got their waffle fries which were A-OK but soft and didn't come with any sauces. Now we got delivery, and even with just being 5 mins from the shop, nothing arrived crispy and all was soggy. No points knocked for that as I know this may be a biproduct of delivery...but also to note, I've received plenty of KFC that stayed super crisp in transport. Overall, I'd get the boneless soy again but would skip the sweet & spicy and waffle fries.

I ordered 40 chicken wings and specifically asked for no fillets -- just 40 wings only. Instead, I received 30 wings and a box of something I didn't order. It was placed at the very bottom of the bag, as if to hide it. I had a big family gathering with friends and guests, and this situation was very embarrassing. It's a holiday, and this not only ruined my mood but also my impression of your service. Please don't do this again. Don't mislead people -- it's not right. Why is it so hard to be honest?

    Great spot for wings!

I decided to come to another wing spot for another holiday and this place was the chosen one for the day. The staff provided a holiday greeting and also helped me choose an item. I went ahead and got the Soy Garlic Wings, which came out to a little over $16 for 10 pieces. Since I parked in the lot in the rear, I had plenty of open space around me and thoroughly enjoyed my meal in the car with the rain and great music in the background. I finished it all then and there and was so content after this meal, I knew I was starting off the year on the right foot!

I was craving wings and was gonna go to Wingstop like I usually do but wanted to give this neighborhood spot a chance. & WOW just WOW, the wings were amazing! Extremely happy I finally stopped in. Ordered the 20 piece Chicken Wings ($26.99 in store) but we ordered through Grubhub and it was $30.99. Bit on the pricier side either way, but definitely worth the bill. We got 4 sauces: Soy Garlic, BBQ, Hot, and Sweet and Spicy. Ranked from favorite to least - #1 Soy Garlic - LOVED LOVED LOVED. Juicy and flavorful. Lightly covered in its sauce so wing still remains nice and crispy. I really want to try the hot version of it next time. #2 BBQ - Sweet flavor. Sauce tasted homemade rather than overly processed (i.e. wingstop or bww) #3 Hot - These creeped up on me. They're really spicy and leave you sweating. But they're not just hot, they're also perfectly seasoned. I might opt for the medium next time though. #4 Sweet and Spicy - the name is a perfect description. These were also good but just my least favorite of the four. All wings were perfectly crispy! Don't know the exact number of each, but whole order comes with a mix of drumsticks and flats. I can't wait to go back and try their other flavors. The spot is pretty small and there's not seating inside as their set up is more for to go/online orders. They have a big parking lot in the back which helps with the pick up. The cashier greeted us right away and offered us help right upon entering. Let her know we had placed a pick up order and were out the door with our food within 5 mins. It's a 10/10.

My husband is always raving about this place so I finally decided to give it a try and the food was phenomenal!!!! The woman who helped me was super kind and patient, informed me on their spices and what sides I could get with my order + dressings ! I got a 10pcs combo comes with the besttttt crinkle fries and a can soda ! The fries were seasoned well so it's a mix of sweet + salty 9.2/10! I got Mild and Medium sauce wings and yall , the medium isn't spicy for me but THE FLAVOR IS A 10/10 !!! I'm super super picky with wings but this place just became my favorite spot !!! The ambiance is nice too , you can eat inside it's pretty small but they do have seating outside and it very clean ! They also bring the food to your car if it's to go!

I ordered the chicken strips with fries, while my partner ordered a two-piece chicken dinner with macaroni salad and spicy rice. Although we had to wait a little while for the food, it arrived hot. We both agreed that it was some of the best fast-food fried chicken we had ever eaten. The chicken was moist and the batter was crispy. My fries were good, and my partner's macaroni salad and spicy rice were both flavorful. We especially loved the biscuit. I also couldn't help noticing that although the dining room feels like something of a relic, it is very well maintained. There were no dirty tables and no trash on the floor. I was genuinely shocked when the cashier came out to ask how everything was and whether we needed anything else. Most fast-food chains seem determined to eliminate as much human interaction as possible. Pioneer Chicken was a refreshing reminder that fast food can still be friendly, clean and satisfying. Pioneer Chicken is a winner in my book!

It's a chicken joint, but I wanted to taste the fish. I'm glad I only ordered one piece, it was too greasy. The chicken was pretty good, not as good as I remember, but good. The chicken was also greasy, but not as greasy as the fish. Would I order again? No. Not because it wasn't good, but because there are much better chicken joints that are not greasy.

The pacific oysters are a good size and I really enjoyed the yuzu-kosho ponzu sauce on it. The spicy tuna crispy rice have a good amount of spicy tuna on top & I loved how crispy they made the rice underneath. The Kodo trio comes with uni, toro, & wagyu and the Toro sampler comes with o-toro, chu-toro, akami. All of these handrolls were phenomenal & just left you wanting more. The Wagyu katsu you cook on a hot stone at the table which I liked as an interactive dish. The Wagyu cheeseburger was dripping with juice but still had those crunchy edges. The Uni pasta was beautiful & delicious. The Chimichurri prawns I could eat multiple plates of- the shell comes sliced down the middle so you just have to peel it off. For dessert we ordered the Kodo basque cheesecake & Miso chocolate torte. I love a basque cheesecake & the sesame crumble added great texture. The miso chocolate torte made me wish I ordered my own. The kind of spot where you walk in and immediately think, Yep... this is where you bring someone you're trying to impress. The ambience hits that perfect balance of modern, moody, and stylish, a little sexy, a little artsy, and fully date‑night certified. Service was on point the entire night, for my experience, maybe cause they know I was was going to tip very heavily. Ha ha ha. Which ai did by the way! Staff was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious. The team here knows the menu inside and out, and they guide you like they're curating an experience rather than just taking an order. Drinks topped off, plates cleared smoothly, pacing perfect. High‑end feel without the high‑end attitude. Let's talk about the food. Filipino Fusion Done With Swagger Ribeye Salpicao, This dish is straight-up dangerous. Tender ribeye cubes seared with garlicky, buttery goodness, the kind of salpicao that makes you rethink every bite you have. Rich, savory, and addicting. If you don't guard your plate, someone at the table will steal a piece. "Because I know I would!" Rockfish Pritong, it was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and seasoned like someone's Filipino auntie whispered the secrets of life into the batter. Bright, punchy flavors with that perfect crunch. Definitely a sleeper hit. Crispy Duck Pancit, This one is wild, pancit with a crispy duck twist that somehow feels both comforting and elevated. The noodles soak up all that savory duck richness, and the crispy skin on top. Wow, a moment of silence for how good that bite is. Papaya Salad, so fresh, bright, and refreshing. A perfect palate reset between the heavier dishes. Crunchy, citrusy, and balanced, the kind of salad that actually earns its spot on the table. Grilled Eggplant Salad, smoky, silky eggplant with a char that tastes like it came straight off a backyard grill in Manila. Light but flavorful, and a great contrast to the richer plates. Pasta Palabok, a true Filipino classic reimagined. Creamy, savory palabok sauce wrapped around pasta instead of noodles, bold move, but it works. The textures are luxurious, and the flavors stay true to the original. Tare Tare Tamale, definitely one of the most creative dishes of the night. A fusion tamale with tare flavors that hit sweet, salty, and umami all at once. Soft masa, rich filling, and a flavor combo that makes you pause mid‑bite. "Mmmm hmmm!" Hamachi, so clean, fresh, and beautifully plated. The kind of hamachi that melts instantly and makes you feel fancy even if you're wearing sneakers. Of course I had my dress shoes on. It has bright citrus notes and just the right amount of heat. Sampa nails the high‑end, artsy vibe without feeling stiff. Trendy lighting, modern décor, and a soundtrack that keeps the energy fun. Perfect for date night, anniversaries, or when you want to look like you know the cool spots in LA. Sampa is Filipino fusion with confidence, bold flavors, gorgeous plating, and an atmosphere that elevates the whole night. If you're trying to impress your significant other, celebrate something special, or just treat yourself to a killer meal in the Arts District, this place delivers. "Always remember the energy you give ...is the energy you receive. One bite at a time! " Miguel C.
