Polite customer service and easy to talk to with the cashier. I'm not Asian myself I was little scared trying new place that's not my ethic background because I did not want to be judged but did not have that problem with this restaurant and I felt very safe communicating with the cashier about my order. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm welcoming and mouthwatering food waiting for you. I order the chicken wings combo sweet and spicy of 10 pieces and extra side between myself and another person who was companying me, it was $20. When I was living in LA this was the place I would go to get chicken wings and Korean Fried Chicken. I've never eat inside since I lived so close and would always take it to go. It is a small place. The workers are always kind and helpful. I unfortunately no longer live in LA. But I do visit. This time while I was visiting I decided to bring back a whole Korean Fried Chicken. My mom loved to the place when she visited. The chicken we recently at and it was so good. Ordered the soy garlic wings combo from door dash. Normally not a big fan, however seeing the comments I had to get them. They were tasty in flavor. Pandemic Take-Out review. I've still been trying to check out small family owned businesses as I know they are incredibly hurting. I opted not to go to Wing Stop which all locations in the area seem to have horrible reviews. This place hasn't been around a long time and I'm sure not many people know about it. It was delicious! Their soy garlic wings were fantastic. We also had their lemon pepper wings which were tasty, but the winner was soy garlic. We have so many other flavors we'd like to try and will definitely be going back. There were plenty of street parking up front and several spots behind the shop - the entrance is in the back. Service was friendly, it takes about 13 minutes for the wings to cook fresh - you can probably call it in as well. Great option to wing lovers like me. read more

Due to covid, picked up some takeout yesterday. Ordered "fire" spicy soy garlic wings, and popcorn shrimp. Just o.k., but will try again. Fire chicken really didn't have as much kick as I'd thought it would and that actually wasn't that big of a deal. The bigger issue was that the wings seemed / were so lightly coated with the soy/garlic flavor that it left them a bit on the dry side. Likewise, the shrimp was just o.k. The batter had a lot of flavor, and I know these were called Shrimp "nuggets," but the shrimp were pretty tiny, and not so sure of highest seafood quality. A more recent and a "hole-in-the-wall" type of Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) place! I got introduced to this place by my CEO and one of my co-workers and now this has been my #1 go-to chicken place in Los Angeles (2nd being Love Letter in k-town/Rowland Heights)! I've gone here twice myself and had someone buy an order for me on the go, and I was never disappointed... all three times. Restaurant/Ambience: small, quick, and casual. It's certainly somewhere to go to grab a quick bite or to take it on the go. There's no waiter/tress service as the owner does the service for you by bringing the chicken to the table once it's done, so you KNOW that it is fresh! There is a restroom behind the cashier, just in case .. you wanted to know :-) There is also free parking at the back of the restaurant. Food: if I could give it another star, I would not hesitate because it's just that good!! If you take it on the go, make sure you buy beer before hand because Korean chicken isn't 100% at its best without a cold refreshing beer! The chicken is nice and crispy on the outside, while the meat is tender... You won't ask for less, trust. The wings with the soy garlic... Is a classic Korean marinade. Get the spicy if you can as well -- such a great kick! Wings come in 10 pcs at the very least. If this is your first time at a KFC place, soy garlic is the way to go, although I'd personally argue and say the original crispy chicken is the best! Service: You order and pay at the cashier then the owner or worker brings it over to you. No tip needed unless you leave tip at their cashier tip jar. If you would like the chicken to go, I'd recommend calling about 15-20 minutes ahead of time. It's worth it!! All in all, I wish more people knew about this chicken joint!! There is stiff competition when it comes to Korean chicken, there is at least 3 on Olympic already! WnS is a somewhat new establishment with a cozy interior. They can seat maybe 10 people max so be mindful of the time if you plan to dine in. I've been to WnS twice and I can say the quality of the chicken can vary. I got their 10 wings combo twice with bbq both times and lemon pepper and Parmesan cheese as my second flavor on separate visits. The first time I was here the bbq wings had a strong vinegar taste while the lemon pepper was fine. The second time the bbq wings were tangy, what you would expect from good bbq wings and the parmesan cheese were ok. The fries were hit or miss as well, first visit fries were great while the second fries were well done, some may like them that way, not me though. I was originally going to give them 2 stars based on the first visit but since I tried them again I'll say 3 stars sounds about right. I live right down the street from this place and I wish more people knew about it. This is honestly some of the best fried chicken that I've had in LA. Perfect fry and as a spicy lover, the spicy is enough to make you sniffle and tear up while still being seasoned well. Staff is always friendly and the location has plenty of parking. The only negative I can think of is that I've noticed the pricing has steadily gone up. I get that prices need to increase especially for a small business.
