To the Management Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred while I was sitting at the bar, specifically involving the conduct of one of your managers. While I was enjoying my time at the establishment, the manager approached me and complained that I was "staring" at her. I found this accusation to be completely uncalled for and unprofessional. As a customer sitting directly at the bar, my line of sight naturally falls on the service area in front of me where staff are working. If a member of your management team does not wish to be looked at or be within a customer's field of vision while they are serving patrons, they should not be standing directly in front of the bar seating area. It is entirely unreasonable to expect a customer to awkwardly avert their eyes just because a staff member happens to be standing in their direct line of sight. I am incredibly disappointed by how I was treated. Instead of making customers feel comfortable, this manager's defensive attitude and unnecessary confrontation created a hostile and awkward environment. I expect your management staff to handle themselves with a higher level of professionalism and common sense. I hope this matter is addressed internally so future patrons do not have to deal with similar absurd accusations. I look forward to your response regarding how this situation will be handled. read more

From the moment we walked m the door the hostess was very friendly. We were seated right away, and sat at a table by the window. The table was clean, albeit the booths a bit tight from front to back. Although, that said, it stops the potential messing from falling into your lap I ordered the Texas Dry rub and potato skins, while my company got the Jakarta heat with soup of the day (Thai). My Texas dry rub was slightly spicy, sweet, tangy, savoury, and peppery all at once. The crisp skin and perfectly balanced seasoning mingled with the blue cheese dip I got alongside just perfectly paired, and was just right for a cold Wednesday evening. On that note, at a Wednesday special of 10$/ order of wings? You really can't go wrong! The potato skins are best eating when served - piping hot, creamy, smooth, bacon-y, and salty with green onion popping on the top? Just a delight~! The coffee I ordered was served black, without an ask of whether I wanted cream or milk, and I didn't ask. It tasted fine and she brewed a fresh pot upon request so I can't complain. Very friendly service with a nice smile, and positive attitude. The music was a little loud for casual chatting, though trendy, and the decor was nice enough though cramped as I said. I would definitely recommend coming to Wings for. A tasty meal and good, speedy service, at a great price (particularly on a Wednesday!). You won't regret it :) read more

2 weeks ago- (June 5 2021) Horrible slow as f service. Didn't have to wait to be seated, but waited painfully long for everything else. The hostess left us a menu, but we were not informed about any food or drink specials. I had seen a sign about some steak special, but it was not spoke of nor was on the menu so I forgot all about it. We waited for a good 20-25 m before our server even made an appearance. He said he would be right with us, but we waited another 10 m before he took a drink order. He failed to inform us that liquor sales were done by 10 pm, nor was last call ever mentioned. (Spoiler Alert - I only ever got my one drink. ) We waited even longer for our drinks to arrive. He never offered or brought out any water - this is a Hot wing place - water should be a given!!! When we ordered our drinks, we also ordered Potato Skins (well done) again, they took at least 25 m to arrive !! We had talked about leaving and going elsewhere to eat Dinner, as this was getting ridiculous, but we discovered that places were closing early and drinks were pretty much done at this point, so we sucked it up. Finally - Drinks came, I asked about a second drink, and only then did he tell us about liquor service being done. At this point we ordered our food. We were going to split the Chicken Alfredo, with extra garlic toast. We waited and waited and waited. A table who had come half hour after us had their food, so we were really getting put off. Finally someone dropped off the Potato Skins - they looked great - but we had no side plates, no cutlery, no napkins, no salt & pepper. My Husband had to go ask the Bartender for the items mentioned above- he actually brought it all out promptly. Did our server come by to ask if we needed anything ? To see how the food was ? To take our menus and offer water ? You guessed it ! No. ! And it wasn't even busy !! At all!! Finally our entree came. The server actually brought it out. JC bet me that there would be no extra plate - and that bet was won! Most other places will actually split the food in the kitchen for you . Now we weren't expecting that - but a second plate would be common sense- No ?? So he brings another plate, but no new cutlery, napkins, water or the offer of fresh ground pepper. Surprise surprise ! We never even saw him again ! No asking how it was, if we would like a beverage, or anything., No offer of desert - We didn't even get the Bill !!! We saw a manager in our section, but he couldn't be bothered to come say hi - let alone apologize, or help out. This dining experience stretched out far past 90 mins. We were over having our time waisted. We joked we could up and leave and probably wouldn't be noticed ! We finally went up to the front and asked the girl there if we could pay her, as we just wanted to leave. The only saving grace of this whole thing was that all the food (when it did finally come ) was excellent. Very tasty. Cooked well and decent portions. Still, the poor service definitely left a bad taste in our mouth. I won't return nor do I recommend. read more

I am super amazed at the Wings in Surrey. I have been to Wings before and the last Wings restaurant I went to was in Terrace. I convinced B to come here for Wings and it did not disappoint at all. I got the Honey Garlic Wings and the Maple Bourbon Wings B got the Chilean Chili, Fiji Flames and Louisana Sweet. The Honey Garlic wings was not wow but the Maple Bourbon wings were definitely a wow flavor. I really enjoyed my wings and I am definitely coming back. We came on a Wednesday so it was half off with the purchase of a drink. $8 for a lb of wings was a really good deal. There are plenty of free parking here. When we arrived the restaurant was busy. It has a good vibe and service was good. I do recommend coming here for dinner. read more

Wings is OK for a group getting together to watch a games a nosh on some appies, but it is not really a place a I would go for dinner. Their specialty, chicken wings, is fairly well executed, with many different sauces to garnish your wings. The wings themselves are crispy and well cooked. I'm sure you can enjoy trying different sauces. Why I gave two stars, is that the other food was not great. We ordered starter salads that were pretty bad. The greek salad dressing tasted like it came from a bottle, and the salads themselves did not seem fresh. Disappointing for the price. The restaurant itself, is pretty spacious and clean. We were there on a Saturday night, and the place actually seemed overstaffed. Staff were looking for something to do. One host was vacuuming to keep himself busy. Thank you Wngs for being one of the very few places open after 10pm mid week. Went on a Thursday night late dinner. The special was three tacos for $9. So we tried a couple orders with the spicy beef and spicy chicken. Both came with a lime and salsa on the side in a nicely prepared dish with taco holders. Tacos were the soft type but large enough to comfortably hold the fixings inside. Taste was good. Spice level was medium. Three of these could definitely fill an average eater. We also ordered a couple pounds of mixed chicken wings of course. Taste was delicious but they could have been a little more cooked. I like them closer to the crispy side. The place was not very full at this time of night. Service was good. The air conditioning was a little high (as commented by most if the group). Maybe overcompensating for the outside heat. I went to wings with some friends from work. I arrived 30 minutes after everyone else. They ordered as soon as they got in, and were told it would take 45 minutes to get their food because there was one large party that night. A little bit slow is understandable, but 45 minutes is too long for a pub-type environment. I also did not appreciate the sour attitude of our server. When the food finally arrived it was very good. What a strange location. But I guess the price was right for these people to put a restaurant there. The boys needed a quick place to grab some food before basketball so it's not like we went out for a full on meal - just wings. And Surrey - is perhaps the WORST place to grab anything (other than fast food) to put in your mouth and fill your stomach. It's actually nice inside - albeit a really weird set up. But nice. Lots of servers and hostess wearing either too tight or too short of clothing, but I'm not complaining - just an observation. The novelty of choosing from so many different types of wings is cool. The price is the same as any other restaurant - its about $6.50/lbs, if you get 5lbs, which we did with five different types of wings. The taste was OK. Nothing spectacular. I know, if it was wings we should've gone to a pub, but this was something different. One thing I did notice was how relatively inexpensive the menu is. It was pasta night and the build your own pastas were $7.99. OK, so it was Friday night and my social group wanted a place central to us all to watch the Canucks game & have a beer. We settled on Wings, and planned to meet there at 6:30pm. Only one out of our group who ended up coming had ever been there before. I was the first to arrive and it was already packed! I wasn't sure how many people in my group were going to show up, so I put my name on the list for 6. The hostess didn't tell me how long a wait to expect, but then again I didn't ask either. Within a few minutes another in my party showed up and we decided we had better change our table request to 8 just in case a couple extras showed up. Again the hostess didn't tell us how long we should expect to wait. The rest of our party showed up within minutes. After about 30 minutes everyone who was on the list ahead of us was seated, as well as the next few parties of 2 to 4 who arrived after us. We noticed there were 2 four seat tables next to each other that had been standing open for 20 minutes or longer, so we asked if we could sit there as we'd already been waiting for 45 minutes to be seated. The hostesses (there were 4 of them standing around at the front) told us the waitress on that side of the restaurant was "too busy" so we could not be seated there. As our waiting approached an hour, and our frustrations began to be projected regarding the 8 empty seats taunting us, a large party on the other side of the restaurant left and we were finally given a table. I don't think I've ever been in a restaurant with a table standing open for that long and been told I couldn't sit at it. It blew my mind! Once we sat down, the server who had our table was very attentive and prompt. We were only having drinks so I can't comment on the food - but I did take a quick look at the menu to see what vegetarian options they had. As a vegetarian I wouldn't come back to eat as there isn't much other than fries, and a pasta of some kind that was meatless. The beer was good, and about $5/pint which is average. The atmosphere is pretty good. It's got way more of a restaurant feel than a pub, but I guess that's because it is more of a restaurant than a pub! Regardless of the decent service from the wait staff and comfy ambiance, I will not return due to the terrible service we received from the host staff. Went there with a group of friends and waited 30 min for water and an hour and a half for a pound of wings! With the worst service ever!

I made reservations for 15, for my son's 19th birthday dinner on a Saturday night. When we arrived, we found the place packed and our table was only for 6 (8 if you squeezed). When we asked for the manager, he came out and explained that someone else had called for reservations two days prior, and this was the problem. We explained that we had made our reservations well in advance, and well before the other party. We were told to squeeze in as best we could and they would "see if there was anything else they could do". They ended up putting my son at another table entirely, around the corner from our table. In the meantime, others from our party were arriving and just sitting at booths. They got menus, drinks, and had ordered dinner before we even got menus. In fact, after 1/2 hour of no menus, I had to go ask for some from other tables around the restaurant and we shared them amongst ourselves as best we could. Another manager came to our table to try to work out seating, and this guy was arguing with us, blaming us for the mix up, because we had two extra people! He tried to tell us that if they had not come, we would have all probably fit at that table. I could not believe it. The food quality has really gone downhill in the last few years. Our food was average at best. The wings were dry and much smaller than they used to be. One poor woman that came with us (she had been the first one to arrive), was not given her meal until everyone else was finished. It was nachos, not something that was complicated or should take a particularly long time to arrive. And to add insult to injury, she was still charged full price. Wings used to be our go to place for many occasions, but unfortunately their lack of organization and appalling customer service skills have killed it for us, and probably everyone that came. It's a shame the managers have forgotten the motto of "the customer is always right". Being a very big fan of extremely spicy food. I thought I should try the spiciest of all food in town as claimed by some of my friends. All keralites or malayalies or more commonly known as mallus eat lots and lots of spice. Coming back to the review, having had some of the most spiciest of all foods in the world I thought I should try this out taking it as a challenge to myself, on Friday night 18th Dec, I got a chance to visit this restaurant with few of my coworkers and ordered the wings called "Bobby wings" which also requests for a waiver (you are having it at your own risk), in fact I was smiling in my mind. There was also another wings called "Jakarta wings" which was spicy as well. We ordered for 2 lbs of Bobby wings and 2 lbs of Jakarta wings and some other kind of wings. It was well served with ranch and Buffalo sauce with our order of beer. I started munching on the wings one by one from both the servings and the second one of the Bobby wings gave me the feeling please don't go any further you are digging your own grave. I can surely tell you, that was the spiciest of all things I have ever had. It was burning inside me like crazy. Then I felt my taste buds and the spice was totally artificial nothing close to the pure spice or hotness we have in Kerala food, which we take 24x7x52 ie every day of the year. Now I know it's just one of the advertising gimmicks probably. But to be truthful Jakarta wings and the other verities was good. The same night and next day morning saw me visiting the washroom 7 times and to be frank it was burning from top to bottom. Honestly, the wait time for this restaurant is ridiculous. And so is the manager. My friends and I went as a group of 8. Yes, I understand 8 people is a lot and yes, I also understand that we didn't make a reservation but we waited for almost 2.5 hours to get a seat. The waitress was friendly and nice at first and our food came quick. BUT the end of the meal was the downside. We asked for our bill and she happily gave it to us. When it was my turn to pay I handed her my money thinking I could get change back before tipping her but instead she automatically sticks it in her pocket and I stared at her dumbfounded. I then asked for change back which she then stared at me like i was speaking in another language then reached into her pocket pulls out a wad of coins and said "this is all the coins I have" and throws them on the table in front of me. When all my friends were done paying they left, leaving my boyfriend and I alone at the table. The manager came out through the back and proceeds to tell us that our waitress is very disappointed at our table because of the lack of tips we gave. Feeling badly my boyfriend apologizes and tells the manager to bring out the waitress so he can hand her an extra $5. The manager which then states that our waitress had already left and gone home. So instead she will take the money and hand it to the waitress on her next shift. My boyfriend agreed, hands her the money and she thanks us for understanding the situation. . . Honestly won't be coming to this location ever again. We came for the Canucks game and asked for the sound to the game. The server game back and said the bartender is the DJ and will not change it because of the vibe. We cancelled our order and decided to go somewhere else. The manager came over and changed it to the game. Then when the 3rd period started the DJ played the music again and turned off the game. Whenever I came and request a table for 2 or 3 people, there are a lot of empty tables for 2 or 3 people (I can say at least 8 empty tables) but they still tell me that I need to wait for 10 minutes. Then, after around 15 minutes, I can get the table and I wait for 10 more minutes to wait for our server to take the orders. The food is good and price is affordable but the service should be improved faster and more efficient. read more
