Service was mediocre and the wait time sucks, but I guess I'll take the blame for that since they have signs Infront of their counter saying "please call before so that you don't have to wait!" I will definitely take advantage of their order system online. I ordered bone in wings lemon pepper and mango habanero togo and the cashier specifically let me know that ranch (sauce in general) does not come with the order since it's not a combo and it will take 18 min. I guess you can skimp out on the ranch, but it's just sauce... Lol I got one anyway because I love ranch! We go to this location to order for family gatherings at least once a week -- but I noticed lately the size of the boneless wings is getting smaller and smaller. I'm a local, this is my Wingstop and I expect more. This is the third time in about 6 months I have visited Wingstop La Verne, I'm very disappointed in the quality of food. The service is always good, the food however is not, the chicken isn't seasoned correctly and by that I mean the lemon pepper is just tossed on in a glop. The fries I got today we disgusting. I ordered about 1:10 pm and he said 17 mins. I picked up at 1:34 and my fries were so gross and my chicken was nothing special. Wingstop has standards to meet like everyone else serving food. 3.5 Stars, if I could. Only because their wings are pretty tasty, but the flavor sauces aren't the best I've come across. They're still pretty good though. Also, I feel a bit limited on the variety per wing order allowed. You have to order a mess load of wings to get 3 flavor choices. I like the Aero theme inside. It's fun to look at the specs and blueprint drawings of old bombers and such. And there are also big chunks of real plane hanging around. That's pretty cool. The classic buffalo hot isn't very hot, but it has a little kick. It's missing a little something, maybe not enough vinegar kick for me or something, but not bad. I do dig the pasty thick and chunky Atomic sauce. It is really really pretty darn spicy. It'll make your bull run. They have good french fries. Let me start off by saying the staff here is so welcoming and they remember your name and your order..lol. My flavors are Mango Habanero and Buffalo and after about 15-18 minutes my wings are made to my liking crispy with more then enough sauce and make sure you have plenty of napkins because they don't skimp on the sauce so it gets all over your fingers, but it's finger licking good...lol. If you are ever in the area stop on by the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean and the food is amazing, they have take out, door dash, and walk-in orders. While waiting for the order, I went to use the bathroom and one of their workers was in there as well taking a leak. I love this place. It's close to home and close to church which is always a plus! Their wings are amazing, although this locations boneless wings are a little on the small side! Customer service is usually pretty good and I absolutely love the Lemon Pepper and Hawaiian flavored boneless wings. So I am usually the last one to check out a spot that has a lot of buzz becuase I am always scared it wont live up to its buzz. Well wingstop does. Most wing places will serve you wings only, and everything else separate. Wingstop gives you the option of buying a meal that includes fries and a drink. The fries are seasoned just right, and the wings are great. My only vice was I ordered the Atomic wings, because I am always willing to try to quote unquote "hottest wings" at any wings joint. The wings were hot, def. not crazy hot but the flavor was a definite miss and I wont be ordering them again. I recommend trying the cajun flavored wings. Also I like traditional wings, but will be getting boneless next time This place is a little small, so I dont recommend big parties to try and come and eat there. Of the eight flavors , standouts include the honey barbecue, lemon pepper, and garlic pepper. I've also had the teriyaki which wasn't bad, although it had a tinge of a strange unrecognizable flavor. The fries also might draw you in. Although they aren't very crispy, they have a nice sweet and spicy seasoning. They are more on the sweet side.
