I was really really looking forward to wings to watch college football with my parents. I found the 10 bone in, 10 boneless wing meal deal on the app and began to make an order on the phone. After we agree on the order and all the side sauces, I'm told the meal deal is only for online orders. This is not mentioned on the app or desktop interface anywhere. The person on the phone is kind enough to let it go through, we pick up the order and it's missing 5 bone in wings and both sauces (I got ranch and bleu cheese). Additionally, when I look at the five wings I DID get, i was disappointed as they were some of the smallest wings and all drums I've ever seen. Not impressed. I didn't get what the craze was about with trying their wings. My daughter placed the order online for me to pickup on my way home from work. When I arrived there was nobody waiting, I walked up to the counter only to be looked at by the staff in the back, not greeted or anything. When he finally acknowledged us, we asked a simple question about placing an order for pickup tomorrow and whether they would be open. We got there around 9:30 pm to place our to go order. The staff was in the back. No where in site. So it took about 5 min for someone to come to the counter. We placed our order with a young lady that clearly did not want to be there. She wasn't rude. But she did have an attitude. Huge red flag and issue for me. But I was hungry so oh well. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wing meal. Smokey BBQ. My husband ordered 10 piece bone in wings only plain with the Cajun sauce on the side. Sounds simple right? Well no..... we did not leave until 10:15 pm. It took 45 min for our order to be complete. So..... CALL AHEAD!!!! Make sure you call in your order. That seems to be the way to go. If not you will be waiting a very long time. That's the only reason for the 3 Stars. Also... get your sauce on the side. I have enough BBQ sauce in my container to sauce at least 15 wings. So, I finally tried a Wingstop. It happened to embe raining and I lost my motivation for going into the Publix locates in the same parking lot as there were no close parking spots. Since WS is a chain/franchise I wasn't crazy about trying it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the 'made to order' options. 3 stars because although I enjoy well seasoned food, 2 of the flavors were way too salty; Lemon Pepper and Cajun. I liked hickory BBQ the best. Also the bleu cheese was a little "ranchy" in flavor and the cheese chunks were very small. I liked the fries, but they are pretty greasy. I really loved the little corn cobs and wish I got more than one order for my whole family. I'd definitely come back to try the regular buffalo wings and other flavors when I'm in the mood for something not so healthy! read more

It said it would take 17 minutes, so we made a super quick stop on the way and by the time we got to Wing Stop, everything was ready. I ordered half BBQ and half garlic parmesan. I really appreciated the option to order all drums because I've never been a huge fan of wings. The BBQ were the star of the show for me - on my next trip, I'll go with all BBQ. The wife went with half Hawaiian, half garlic parmesan - the Hawaiian was like a sweeter version of the BBQ, but I preferred the BBQ. We also both ordered fries as a part of the combo, and I have to say that the fries were a very pleasant surprise. They reminded me of the fries from Five Guys, which I always love. I even went with the option of adding cajun seasoning, which made them even tastier. They were super hot and high quality - a great compliment to the wings! I was so excited when Carrollwood was getting a Wingstop. The staff and owner are extremely cool, and your food is always hot and freshly made. You can choose traditional or boneless wings and now chicken tenders. The sauces are always good depending on your taste from Hell Hot to mild, tangy and sweet. My personal favorite are the lemon pepper wings. You just cannot go wrong with that seasoning or any of the wings. The only one I was not thrilled with was the teriyaki flavor. It just was not good to me or anyone in my household. I appreciated that the fries are fresh cut but I just feel (for me) the seasoning is way too salty so I would rather have nothing on them since the wings have so much going on. This experience was much less satisfying, the last few have been and for the price paid, this may have been my final visit. I was wanting a large amount of calories in one sitting, and thought why not order wings and beat the dinner rush? I saw their website had a 5 wing special, so I ordered 15 wings for cheaper than usual with veggies, a Dr. pepper and ranch. It all arrived correctly, and when I opened the bag to remove things, a pool of water dumped from my veggies to my wings. That really needs to be fixed, perhaps ACTUALLY putting the veggies in a container would be a good idea (like the fries are). The biggest let down on this visit was how bad the wings were, although the veggies were fine and the ranch was ranch. The wings tasted extremely old, very dry, tough, and a weird texture to the skin. They were off putting enough that I threw away about half of the wings and focused on my veggies. Wings... who doesn't love wings? I know I do! The Wing Stop at this location is fairly new, clean and the staff is friendly! I usually order online, and pick it up... as that fits my schedule. It has always been ready on time and they are quick to get me taken care of and out of there, so I can eat 'em while they are hot. The wings seem small compared to some other places I have had wings at.. but they are fairly meaty, so not a bad deal. If you want them crispy, I do recommend ordering them well done, as they can be a bit soft otherwise. Original Hot is good, but not Hot! Garlic Parmesan wings are very tasty! That is all we have tried to date... Always a go to for convenience and decent wings! Sides are not bad either... although the cole slaw is a little sweeter than I like. We just ordered from here and we are extremely disappointed. We called in 2 combo meals, we get home and we are missing half our order. My boyfriend called them and they said to come back for the corrected order. So my boyfriend gets back up there and the cook gives him a complete attitude. He says he is only making the chicken order and we will just have to deal with the fries we already got. After telling him to at least make the chicken and don't worry about the fries, the order comes out and it's wrong yet again. Then one of the girls comes walking in from the back area and completely reeks of weed. (Hey if you want to smoke, cool, just don't come walking back into a restaurant with it pouring off you).
