I ordered a six piece (two legs, two thighs, a breast and a wing) chicken with four sides (mashed pots and gravy, corn, coleslaw, mac and cheese) and four biscuits through DoorDash. It was a bit of shock seeing the size of the chicken portions and the sides. I came to the conclusion that you have to be a dark meat fan to eat here. The legs and thighs are decent in size and seem to be a better deal for the money. The wing was okay. The breast was small and consisted mostly of rib and breading. The very small pieces of breast meat were dry. This was a far cry from the past KFC chicken breasts which were mainly chicken tenders without the ribs. Overall the chicken was passable. I ordered the original chicken but there is no discernible herbs and spices other than salt, black pepper, and MSG. The sides were the individual size ones. Good thing I can reuse the containers as they are sturdy. The coleslaw was crisp and good tasting which was a surprise. It was worth getting more of this. The mashed potatoes are from a dehydrated mix so I know they aren't prepared from fresh. Gravy is okay to dip the breaded chicken skin in. The mac and cheese was cheesy in flavor but, again, very salty. It needed to have more macaroni added to it. Corn was tasted okay but surprisingly hard in texture. Biscuits tasted fine but needed a few more minutes in the oven to get golden brown. They were looking a bit pale. I also got their fried apple pie which is reminiscent of the ones from Mickey D's long ago. This was a good tasting, crispy crust fried hand pie. Definitely recommend that. I would probably not return to KFC in general although the Chicken Pot Pie seems intriguing and people seem to like it. I may be lured in later to try the pot pie.

At 5:55 p.m., I placed my order separately, about 10 minutes before everyone else at our table. There were three orders placed at our table. I ordered a ribeye and shrimp, mixed vegetables, and a baked potato with butter only. At approximately 7:25 p.m., our waitress brought everyone else's food, but my meal was still not ready. Throughout the wait, our server continued checking on us regarding drinks and kept us updated that my food was still being prepared. I even went up to the kitchen/food counter myself to see if my order was ready. I continued checking back about every 10 minutes. Finally, around 8:05 p.m., my food arrived. I immediately noticed that the baked potato had not been prepared as I requested--it had toppings on it instead of being plain with butter. The server offered to take it back and have them redo it, but after waiting more than two hours, I told her I would just take it. I cut into my ribeye, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. The plate looked great, and everything appeared appetizing. Unfortunately, the entire meal was very cold. I let our server know, and again she offered to have the food remade. At that point, I didn't want to wait another two hours for another meal, so I declined. I completely understand that REPUBLIC has just reopened and that some of the staff may be new. Opening a busy restaurant after renovations can certainly come with challenges. My comments are meant to be constructive. My suggestions would be to add food runners to help the kitchen get meals out to the tables quickly and to have more people behind the bar to keep drinks moving. The remodel looks great, and I really like the new sports-watching area. Now the restaurant needs to focus on getting food to the tables in a timely manner while it's still hot, as well as getting drinks out more efficiently. Shoutout to "Reese" she is a very attentive server. Also noticed she was helping out other servers at the pos machine. I would definitely be interested in coming back once they have had some time to work out the opening-week growing pains. The potential is definitely there.

This Wingstop location is the most inviting, most friendly and most tasty Wingstop I have ever been to. From when you walk in the door to when you step out, it is amazing. The cashiers really know their menu and product. They always know how to help you get down to what you are really looking to order and are always so nice and friendly. The cooks really do know how to make the best wings in town. They always make it exactly how you want it and really care about making your food as if it was their own. And the managers keep the store running phenomenally. They care about their staff and their customers. All staff at this location have never disappointed. The boss in charge is going an awesome job. I just wanna say that I never do surveys I think its a big waste of time, but today this Wing-stop changed my life. Let me tell you there spirit is so welcoming and sincere. The energy as a team just blew me away. The food was fresh and fast. The workers got along really well and communicated and made sure every guest was satisfied and happy. Finally got to check out the new WingStop and I must say I was impressed. This location is huge with plenty of seating and lots of TVs. I will never be eating at wingstop again. Ate there last night spent 17 dollars to get food poisoning. The manager blew me off and the distric manager wants the half eaten chicken out my trash. Wings are very flavorful and good. Much better then Buffalo Wild Wings. I got the Louisiana Rub and the Garlic Parmesan. The only negative was that the Garlic Parmesan wings were heavily covered with Parmesan cheese, to the point that I had to take some of it off because all I could taste was the parmesan.
