Im pleased to hear they do look into these things and try to make things whole. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times since working in alamo in the past. Last time I'm coming here. I placed a phone order for a REGULAR al pastor burrito earlier. The amount of meat was miniscule compared to the beans and rice BTW. When I got there they gal read the tag that had my phone order for a REGULAR burrito. I was charged $17 but with tax it was over $18. I called later in the day and the lady on the phone said the regular is 12.99. Im lactose intolerant so I don't do dairy which the super has. Anyways I find this business practice repulsive and will not be returning. I hope this review gets views and reconsider patronizing at this establishment. Huge thumbs down. They don't seem to value customers. I called them after finding out they did me dirty overcharging me. The employee told me the owner/management was out of town. I reached out to them on instagram in attempt to inform ownership/management of what is happening. The person responding on instagram told me they are out of town. I never got a follow up from them. Who knows if they actually investigated what happened because I didn't get a follow up. I could care less about the extra few dollars they took. If they have an employee intentionally overcharging then they need to correct it. It's simple as that. All the info is in the photo I included in the review if they choose to investigate.

The amazing thing was he kept smiling and working his rear off for the two plus hours that we were there for lunch. The restaurant has extensive indoor and outdoor seating and looks nice. They must have about 30 beers on tap! Eleven of us ordered chips with guac and salsa, variety of beers and a variety of tacos. We also ordered rice and beans to share. The food was delicious and there were no leftovers! We had brought a cake to celebrate a birthday, Luis brought out the cake with lit candles! Nicely done. Will return to explore additional menu items. Highly recommended

They would make these short rib tacos and they were sooooo DELICIOUS . But I'd have to check the menu every month to confirm, whenever I remembered. Now here's the bigger part that is making me not care to come here anymore and that's the portion size. Like every customers' gripe when they regularly patron a restaurant, it SEEMS like the portions have gotten smaller. That may not be true but that's how it feels. (See comparison pics). Lastly, for those who it matters to, they have a changing table in the women's restroom. Which is very convenient

As I entered, I eyed Cholita Linda, and since we had already eaten at the place near us, I knew what we wanted and would enjoy for our late lunch or early dinner... a Cubano! For those who might not know, a traditional Cubano sandwich is made with Cuban bread (a white bread loaf with a thin, crispy crust and a soft, airy inside. Usually, a moist palmetto leaf is placed on top of the dough before baking to create its signature split), Mojo-marinated roasted pork (slow-roasted in a marinade made of sour orange juice, garlic, oregano, and cumin), glazed ham (sweet, deli-style sliced ham), Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and yellow mustard. Of course, here in the US, the recipe is adjusted based on the location and available ingredients, but the core stays the same, which makes for a delicious sandwich. Cholita Linda's Cubano is made with pulled pork shoulder, black forest ham, mustard, pickles, aioli, and Swiss cheese on grilled French bread. Trust me when I tell you that it is a delicious version! Anyway, this location is very well managed and maintained. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and nicely kept. They have tables inside and outside the mall. On a warm day, you might prefer to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air while you eat.

It didn't take long onto the next day to be experiencing the runs in the bathroom consistently while at work. I had no symptoms of food poisoning four days prior to eating at the restaurant. I will not be coming back here again.

Located in a strip mall with a large grocery store and other establishments, parking was a bit tough around lunchtime but spaces were available. The second I walked in I could clearly see that this was a local hotspot, drawing in a crowd of area residents, locals, and professionals. Almost every table was occupied on a Friday around noon. The large cheese quesadilla was fantastic! It came in four huge, cheesy portions (served on a paper plate with foil) and was definitely among the best I've had in while. In addition to that, I ordered their carne asada and fish super burrito, super wet vegetarian burrito, side of chips and guac. The prices here are very reasonable! I asked the cashier whether to order the shrimp or the fish, and their recommendation to get the fish was a good call! The fish burrito was generously filled (see the cross-section photo!), and I especially appreciated the sour cream. Simply delicious! The carne asada burrito was equally excellent. The meat had a wonderful charred flavor. We loved the cheesy sauce on our wet burrito. I may have to get that next time with the fish burrito. Don't forget to order a side of guac, it was $6 for 8oz. The guac was fresh, chunky, and had an abundance of cilantro which we love. There's also a self-serve salsa bar with Salsa verde, mild, and medium salsas along with pickled vegetables, limes, etc. The cashier who took our order was friendly and incredibly welcoming. When I mentioned it was my first visit, she was genuinely appreciative of our business. I noticed there was no tipping option available on the electronic payment screen during my transaction. Fortunately, I had cash on hand and was able to leave a tip in the jar.

The zucchini was cooked perfectly and not overcooked or soggy at all, which made the whole burrito taste fresh and flavorful. We also got the appetizer with the chips, zucchini, arugula, and cheese and that ended up being one of my favorite dishes. Everything paired together really well and had a lot of flavor without feeling too heavy. I also tried the mango margarita with tajín on the rim and really liked it because it wasn't overly sweet. Super refreshing and balanced. The Dude ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and really enjoyed those as well. Customer service was also really good. They checked on us periodically throughout the meal and everyone was friendly and attentive without hovering. Overall the restaurant felt clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Definitely a spot we would come back to again. Especially a lot of vegetarian options ! Vegetarian approved!!!

There's a ton of seating inside, and everything is very spacious. Though, I do have to say it always feels incredibly empty for some reason and there's never anybody actually inside outside of a few tables, but they do have tons of takeout so perhaps that's the tradeoff. However, don't let the lack of eating patrons inside the place put you off. This taqueria offers a good variety of different options as any taqueria would offer, and many of the options have pictures and stuff with it. The service here is, kind of hit or miss. The people in the front usually aren't overly friendly, and will sometimes feel like they're just there until the clock turns work over. Sometimes they're bordering on rude as they just kind of give you an indifferent stare as you're ordering, or will just feel as if they're half listening and not even looking up. The service was a bit better when I dined in, so perhaps maybe it's just the takeout, although it's usually the same person for both. Price wise, it's certainly not going to be cheap. If you want the best bang for your buck around here, El Aguila probably won't be it as there's a plethora of taquerias in this area. Food quality wise, it's pretty good overall. There are some tasty dishes here that will certainly warrant the little bit of extra cost here compared to other places. Things that I have tried here are the burritos and the torta. The burritos here are yummy as they they will have ingredients inside the burrito that is slightly different than your cookie cutter burrito at any other place. It really does help adds layers of flavor to it that other places do not offer. However, the best part of it is indeed the fact they grill the outside of the burrito to get that nice flakiness that wrap, and makes it a oh so rewarding experience. Meat portions was okay, but wish it had more especially for the cost. The torta I got was pretty good, as the ingredients inside were pretty typical so nothing really stood out. The break was toasted well, but I do wish it was a bit softer as it may have been to toasted. Should be toasted outside and soft inside, but this one just felt toasted all over. The meat portion also suffers from the same issue as the burrito as that it's not as generous as it could be. However, the flavors and taste were fine. It's certainly a nice place for those who want a bit of a different style of their Mexican cuisine. They have some flavors here that will be atypical of most of the cookie cutter taquerias around. While they are a bit expensive comparatively, the portions are actually decent (minus the meats). You can certainly be filled with just a single burrito. Worth a visit.
