Ordered 10 wings and got one small cup of ranch (2oz) , so either they make it fresh or they're super cheap and trying to save money by rationing. Ordered lemon pepper wings (5)which were described as a wet rub, which doesn't make any sense, again trying to be different. It seemed like when it came down to the seasoning part they struck out or the shakers were on house arrest and wouldn't come out. Half my damn wings were barer than a defeathered chicken, buffalo wings were super soggy and lacked flavor as well (5) . Ima make sure we ain't ever back in this MF!! Go to hiwings instead, or pluckers at least they ain't stingy with ranch or seasoning.

Kinda love this spot lol Def very divey and sports bar vibes but it's a wings place so I guess that's a duh! Real good prices and good wings, wouldn't get the waffle fries again tho they're pretty limp.

The wings were pretty good. We got 15 wings with 3 different flavors, an appetizer, and fries. I didn't love the lemon pepper. I could taste the butter over the actual lemon pepper flavor.

I don't know what happened but I'm disappointed to recommend this place to friends coming in from out of town. The service was spotty, with incorrect orders that when we brought it up, the waitress wanted to argue with us about it. The wings were tiny and dry and too overly sauced. We finished the meal looking like that peanut butter baby meme. Very expensive for what it is. The garlic fries were SWIMMING in oil. Only saving grace is that this is a great place for sports fans.

Great selection of wings and sauce. The customer service was good too. They were a little on the salty side but I'd recommend this place again and try other wings. Also no carrots for the side; just celery!

Wingzup has been on my list because I've heard some people rank it as the best wings in Austin! I thought it was really good, but I think calling it the best really just depends on your preference. Because it's really good, but I think I'll always prefer Korean fried chicken over the traditional American style wings. That being said, I love how there are so many different styles of wings! I'm used to just seeing traditional and boneless, so things like country style and golden intrigued me. And I already knew grilled and smoked would be good. We ended up sharing the 15 wing sampler tray with 1) country style wings with jalapeño honey mustard 2) golden style wings with raspberry chipotle BBQ and 3) traditional style with lemon pepper. Part of me wishes the wings were tossed in the sauce, but I also really appreciate being able to taste the wings on their own, as certain styles already have a marinade. As well as being able to mix and match sauces and styles. And ensuring maximum crisp on the wings. I really loved the jalapeño honey mustard. But the lemon pepper and raspberry chipotle bbq were both so flavorful too. The golden style was probably my favorite. I almost always prefer fried chicken over any other kind. And this delivered! The batter was so crispy, but also super light. But country style was a close second. But they were all good and juicy, and decently sized! The workers were all super friendly, and while they didn't check in on you much, it was always easy to flag someone down when you needed to. And I think this place is a lot cheaper than other wing or chicken spots.

If you are looking for a place to kick back, eat wings, and drink beer, this place is definitely your vibe. This is nestled behind GNC in the Hancock Crossing Shopping center. When I walked in I noticed a lot of people were just getting off work or on lunch break. I ordered the 10 piece wing, spicy ranch and lemon pepper with garlic parm fries. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. And I smashed everything. Added bonus you can get your wings smoked or grilled as well. Overall experience, I give it a 4 out of five. I will definitely go back to try the grilled and smoked wings.

upon entry, you can tell it's a local college sports bar- would be fun to watch games here they are supposedly some of the best wings in austin and i concur for non korean fried chicken style, they are p good! they offer various methods of cooking. such as country, original, or smoked (got original) mango habanero was the best - sweet and spicy jalapeño ranch was creamy with a little kick buffalo ranch was barely buffalo would not get again spicy lemon pepper was PACKED w seasoning - had a little cajun kick v yummy

OMG, it has been 8 years since I was at Wingzup. My nephew, who was visiting from out of town, called me from Wingzup where they were having a lite snack and asked if I knew Wingzup and before he could hang up the phone, I was walking thru the door.  We had an amazing server, her service was beyond measure. I ordered 10 grilled bone-in wings, 5 tossed in teriyaki sauce and 5 tossed in the Korean sweet chili sauce. There was Ghost pepper sauce on the side that was used very sparingly. It was a great lite snack but there was a need to order an Old Fashioned, for digestive purposes only.  I am definitely not going to wait another 8 years to return and checkout more of the items that I was eyeballin' on the menu and it will be during Happy Hour, indubitably .

Came here for a friends birthday and they took great care of our large group. (We made a reservations/called in advance). I ordered the smoked wings which were really awesome. A friend got the Parmesan garlic wings and they were also really good. This place is known/ranked for their wings and for a good reason. Awesome flavors and good variety.

This is a pretty solid choice for wings. I would choose this over your typical chains simply for the fact that they offer grilled, smoked, and golden wings. The classic fries are elite and I would not recommend upgrading to waffle fries. My friends' waffle fries were definitely not as good as the classic. I got the grilled wings combo with mango habanero and spicy lemon pepper. Both flavors were good. A few of my wings were a touch dry/overcooked, but the majority of them were juicy and flavorful. Server was nice and brought us samples of some of the wing sauces we were curious about.

This place is definitely one of my top favorite wings place! I've been meaning to come here for months now and finally went this weekend and food was GREAT. They were actually voted for best wings in Austin, so definitely worth checking them out. You walk in and you sit wherever you want, server will come up to your table and take your order (keep in mind) they do get busy and may take a little while to get your food order, but hey it's a sports bar so watch a game while you wait patiently :) There is TVs all around and the staff is really nice. Pretty calm the night I went but great place to watch sports! The margarita swirl was gooood, pretty strong (not that strong) but enough for a slight buzz. & you can't go wrong with a mug of beer The fried pickled spears 5/5, nice and juicy, great fried crisp to them. The cheese fries 4.5/5, IMO I like a saucy cheese rather than shredded BUT these were really good! The waffle fries were really good tbh. The wings 'n burger basket with teriyaki wings 4.5/5, the burger lacked a bit of flavor and does not come with pickles. Only the cheese :/ The 10 piece (mild and spicy lemon pepper) 5/5, the dry rub took me by surprise. Such a good combo, never had a good spicy lemon pepper rub. Ranch dressing 5/5, it's up there with the wingstop ranch if you ask me not as liquid-y though bit more thick. Overall, I WILL BE BACK. This place is amazing, can't believe I passed it so many times and never went in.

The wings here are delicious! There is a lot to try and we really enjoyed the Golden wings with and without the various sauces. We appreciated our server Jax who was incredibly communicative and explained the menu process well. She was helpful with any questions we had and subsequently made sure to tip her well. It wasn't very busy when we went as well and the food was served pretty quickly. I found the paper towel roll at the table handy also. Will definitely return.

I guess if I had ordered in person instead of through the app, the lovely guy in the trailer could have been like, yo, that's too much of the same flavor, you gotta mix it up. But alas, I chose for my self and I got what I got. Everything was delicious. I wish I would have gotten wet wings. And I wish they weren't breaded. But oh well. All were breaded perfectly and fried to a nice crisp. They maybe a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the wings easily justifies. Two servings will most probably fill most people. The restaurant is clean and spacious and you order by scanning a QR code. The waitress was friendly and she brought us water fairly quickly. The garlic Parmesan fries are a must order and they were expertly fried and had a spectacular crunch and texture. The garlic was very balanced and not overwhelming, and they were super generous with the amount of Parmesan. The chicken wings were also equally amazing with a super crunchy, light batter, well seasoned chicken and the sauces were delectable. I really liked the honey garlic Parmesan because it is unique and not something I've had before. The sweet soy was also nicely balanced and paired well with the wings. The Ruma's chicken crispy pops was good, but I wish the pieces of chicken were slightly bigger so that the ratio of batter to chicken would be less overwhelming. The sauce was more sweet than spicy and it would have been better if they added a Mala spice component. My diagnosis: come here for exceptional Korean wings and craveable garlic fries

Then menu itself was a bit confusing, so when one of us asked if it was possible, when ordering 10 pieces, to get 5 wings and 5 nuggets, she said YES. So, when we proceeded to order that way, she got all flustered and was like, no, no, no you can't do that! Oh, and then when we asked about any of our dishes coming with sides, only *then* did she suggest that we turn it into a combo. So, yeah, welcome to AI generation! (Needless to say, the two kids working were both on their phones a ton the whole time that we were there.) *It was cold outside and the A/C was on, so it was freezing. *Re. the K-Buffalo sauce: nothing very K about it! It was straight buffalo sauce. *Charging for a side of ranch sauce that clearly tasted like it came out of a bottle? Seriously? Lame-o. Other than the above complaints, we actually really liked this place. The vibe is chill and, as aforementioned, we enjoyed most of the food. The dumplings are 100% not homemade, but they toss them in a decent sauce so they can be more palatable (we would skip those). The fries are nice and crispy, and the brussels sprouts are excellent. So, so good, and a decent amount as well. The radishes are the typical ones you get at these joints, and they are a must. As for the main star, the chicken, it was as it should be: with shattering layers of breading and hot meat on the inside. The coating was almost a bit too thick, though. We liked the soy garlic sauce and just wished there was some actual Korean aspect to the buffalo. Prices were consistent with portions, and they do have respectable beers on draft. We have some quibbles, yes, so it's 3 stars for now, but we'll definitely be back because it's close to home and will hopefully have a more overall impressive experience next time.

The wings were cooked well and had a nice texture, and the sauces stood out in a good way--they weren't overly heavy or drenched, just a light, balanced coating that let the flavor come through without being too much. The soy garlic had a nice savory touch, while the sweet and spicy added a little kick without being overpowering. It's not the absolute best wings I've ever had, but they're definitely solid and satisfying. For a small spot, it really hits the spot when you're craving something flavorful and different. The store was small inside but it was dimly lit and had a vibe to it not bad a for a date night if i say so myself, the customer service was great and the food comes out quick ! Highly reccomend and will be back soon.

They are a spicy chicken establishment and their spicy chicken comes in different shapes and sizes from bone-in fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, and nuggets. It hits every time. The mayonnaise, the pickles, the perfectly crisp chicken: you can't miss it. As a side, I ALWAYS without fail get their Tater Tots. They are consistently crispy while remaining soft on the inside. Sometimes I will get it seasoned with their Tingly Sichuan, but the heat is sometimes too much. I cannot recommend the tots enough. Spicy Boys is one of those places that is always there for you. They are consistently open and the people making the orders are putting a ton of dedication into making them smack every time. The sandwich alone comes at $9.50 with the tots at $3.50, which seems on par or slightly lower than a typical food truck if my memory serves me right. That potato bun is something else and really brings everything together. The biscuit is quite nice, buttery and big enough to hold that massive piece of chicken. The sweet jalapeno jam add a good kick of spice. Oh the duck fat fries! These really dont need anything added to the them. Just enjoy them as they come as they're perfection.
