Ahhh. What a hidden place for some wings. Decided tonight was a great night for some spicy wings. Ended up coming here and they were pretty busy with orders. So if you are in a hurry maybe try them a different time. Ended up getting a 20pc wings of the Original medium and the sweet&sassy hot. The sauce and the dry rub were amazing but the chicken seemed just a little dry. The garlic fries were pretty decent just wish there was a bit more garlic flavor to it.

This place doesn't disappoint. Southern fried wings with spicy bbq on the side is one of my favorites, mac and cheese is good and philly cheese steak is to die for. Today I tried the blackened chicken po- boy with fries, It was 5/5. I also got mac and cheese and a soda all for $22. Very fair prices.

    Philly whiz wit the works.

Winky's Wings is somewhat of a hidden gem. Let's start with their wings. They specialize in dry rub prepared wings that are shatteringly crisp while maintaining a juicy center. Definitely try their lemon pepper ones if you love sour/vinegar flavored things. Their cheesesteaks are where it's at though. For so long I've searched for a place that offers the traditional Cheez Whiz over the ubiquitous provolone. Their steak is thinly-cut and while it could've used a little more seasoning, I'm confident that this is the best (or at least most authentic) Philly in Anchorage. Getting it with "the works" is probably the best bang for your buck. I ended up having to wait around a bit for my order but the owner was nice enough to knock a few dollars off the total. I'll be back whenever I get the urge to chow down on some simple, tasty grub.

    Mild Chicken Wings (20 Piece)!

We enjoyed ours! It was a Friday night in and we decided to give Winkys a shot (my first time). I ordered the mild chicken wings and REALLY enjoyed them! ...they were well-seasoned in addition having a mild 'kick'. My SO had the shrimp basket (tried and true) the shrimp were cooked properly and the crust was hot, flaky and fresh! Our meal was delivered in no time and we were SUPER pleased for what it was - Friday night delivery! We'll be back!!

Good for what it offers. Wings. Like the dry approach to Inferno. I don't order much else here. My kid likes the cheese burgers.

Great wings, ordered carry-out. I had the medium dry rub. Recommend by the guy working there.

Visiting from Texas. Good wing's. Love the lemon pepper wings. Price is a lil high, but it's worth it.

Never had so good wings, crispy and well seasoned. Hamburgers and philly cheesesteak are amazing.

Great wings! Packages great for take out too. There are lots of sauce choices and the other menu items have got to be just as good.

Peanut Farm is a sports grill that has been around for some time. The building has been through a few renovations with some additions to look like what it is today. It resembles a large log cabin. Peanut Farm is spacious and has several TV screens for sports viewing. There are also some pools tables near the bar. We grabbed a table that had a nice view of Campbell Creek through the window. Peanut Farm has a full menu that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a page showcasing their appetizers and pizza selections. I got the Farm's Grilled Chicken with a cup of New England Clam Chowder. I was able to choose a couple of sides and had to try the corn fritters. I highly recommend them. We had a nice time here and it was a great way to wrap up my first trip to Alaska.

The room has a high-energy, lively vibe without ever feeling overwhelmingly loud, and you can tell why the chef earned a James Beard nomination. You definitely need a reservation; they have a few walk-in spots, but they go very fast, so you will want to get there right when doors open if you do not have one booked. The beverage menu is very well done, with great cocktails and thoughtful mocktails that felt just as crafted. For food, our starters set a high bar; the pork buns, pickles, and octopus were all flavorful and well prepared. The ramen itself was delicious and hits the spot in the Alaska weather, with deep, tasty broths and bold flavors throughout. The Dark Horse was especially good. We did not have room left for dessert, but the savory side of the menu more than delivered.

We came a little after opening at 5:15 and were seated at a table immediately. Larger groups may have trouble without a reservation. Everything was phenomenal. My husband had a couple cocktails and I had a couple NA cocktails. I was really impressed with the NA cocktails -- they were complex in flavor and not overly sweet. Husband was also impressed with his drinks. For appetizers we got the pickles, pork buns and takoyaki. In my opinion the pork buns are the way to go. I also enjoyed the pickles and there were a good garnish with other dishes. For ramens we got the dark horse and Tokyo rich tsukemen. Wow wow wow, they were simply excellent. The broths had so much flavor. The tsukemen was a fun dish with having to assemble it yourself and dip food into the broth. Pork belly serving was very generous. Some of the best ramen I have ever had. If you are in anchorage you need to eat here!

You can find this food truck by checking their social media--they're on Facebook and IG. Unlike many restaurants and food trucks in Anchorage K's Kitchen is serving food past 9pm and into the wee hours of the night! The owner is super friendly, and remembers my boyfriend and I whenever we pull up to order. She has an array of burgers, wraps, wings, and salads to choose from. My personal favorite is the chicken caesar salad--it is the BOMB; chicken is blackened and the caesar dressing is homemade. She also just added a southwest chicken salad which I'll be adding to the rotation. My boyfriend will usually get a wrap or burger if he doesn't choose the daily special. Highly recommend you trying out the cajun fries, so delicious! Also, if she has any dessert available, you'll want to order that too--her desserts aren't permanent menu items so if you see something you like, don't hesitate cause it will most likely be gone! In the past she's made lemon bars, oreo brownies, and so many more that I can't think of. Prices are reasonable too--we get a meal for two for under $30. Portion sizes are large and I never walk away feeling hungry, even when it's a salad. Overall, you need to try this place out! Good food from good people.
