We didn't expect a carpet care company to offer pressure washing services, but found Winners 2000 at a time when the El Nino rains had left our brick courtyard slimy and slippery. Chris and his crew actually worked in the rain, and I wasn't sure how that would affect the quality of their work. We were pleasantly surprised, however, to find that the bricks were restored to their original red, clean condition after the crew finished their work. I was very happy with the service that we received. We have several large pieces of furniture that I didn't know if we would be able to move before having our carpets cleaned. Chris and his team came by, assessed the rooms and also said they would move the pieces of furniture themselves! The whole process took about 3 hours and they even put "coasters" under ever piece of furniture in order for the carpet to dry thoroughly under the legs. Although I didn't actually use Chris services this time, I feel compelled to write a review about how helpful he has been. I called to ask Chris to do an estimate for my son's college apartment carpet, which had significant stains as well as a bleach stain. I was hoping that Chris could either dye the bleach stain or do a carpet patch. Chris went to the apartment and phoned me immediately with his estimate and appraisal. He told me that while he could either dye the carpet or patch it, he wanted to let me know that it might not be a perfect match (due to the age, fading, and color or the carpet) and that he wouldn't feel right taking on the job, if the apartment was going to bill us for it anyway. Long story short, the apartment management agreed they should handle the repairs so that we don't get potentially double-charged. I can't express how impressed I was with Chris's professionalism and honesty. It was apparent from talking to him that he really knows his business. He spent a long time discussing with me the process he uses and what some of the limitations might be. Next time we need a carpet cleaner (or a repair service in our own home), I wouldn't hesitate to call Chris. read more
