When I go to Texas, it's usually a 900 mile drive to get there. Once I'm there, I will pass 20-30 different BBQ restaurants to get the Winners BBQ! Their food is top-notch! First of all...this place is all that and some more. So me any my little family cane in on today. I've been here multiple times and my husband haven't but my daughter has. So my 7 yr old daughter eat like a man and my husband eats like a horse. So I knew we was about to get hit hard in the pockets. So I went in 2 stepping because I just knew the food was about to be . And I was right!!! My baby had juice meat all down her ear (don't know how that happened ‍), My husband had food on his shirt (don't know how that happened ‍), and I food falling down my bosom (I know how that happened). The food is always freaking good. One of thee best BBQ joints in town. They do run out so you have to get there early, on time, or once they open them doors. The line gets long immediately. I love and recommend this place to everyone. I left doing the stanky leg that good was so good I asked my husband would he carry me to car. He said no! This is a great hidden gem. The meats are so good. Their bbq sauce on the tables are fantastic. The mac n cheese is so creamy and flavorful. The beans are good. The potato salad is a little underwhelming. This is a great bbq joint. I spend a lot of time eating in Plano, Tx. Most is on the West side. Extremely good brisket and Mac and cheese, I have lived in TX my whole life and went to many BBQ restaurants, Winners BBQ is one of the best BBQ restaurants I have been to, although they are limited on the side options to choose from they make up for it with the quality of the food. Very good ribs, well smoked very little fat (much better than the fatty ribs served at Lockhart Smokehouse). Brisket was very tasty without very much fat at all. Sides that I tried were beans and potato salad both were good. This place is comfortable with good music and polite staff. They were not out of anything when I visited in the mid afternoon. The two meat plate was reasonably priced. Both the carry out and dine in business were active even though I did not visit at a peak time. Best nearby the house, in East Plano. Seldom does the deliverable look as good as the advertised picture. In this case, Winner's knocked the ball OUT OF THE PARK!! Came to Winners BBQ for lunch and loved my meal. I had the 2 meat baked potato. I choose to get brisket and ribs. The brisket was amazing. It had so much flavor and I coun't get enough if it. The ribs were good but didnt fall off the bone. The potato was HUGE! You can absolutely share this if you wanted. My husband had the lunch special which was a brisket sandwich with 2 sides. Again the brisket is amazing so his sandwich was delicious. The Mac and cheese was so creamy I kept stealing from his plate. The beans were okay. They seemed like beans that were just opened from a can. The service was amazing. The cashier who took our order was very sweet and helpful. While we were eating we had the same cashier stop by our table to see if we needed anything. We then had another employee do the same thing after her. As we were leaving we were sent off with good bye. Would have been a 5 star experience if I enjoyed the beans and ribs. read more

This place has THE BEST turkey legs we have ever had. Woah. Crispy, moist and so much flavor profile. We were visiting from California, and went to a million bbq place that weekend, that place being by far the best one. The hubby wanted to try this place that was recommended by a friend. It is a small cozy spot located in a strip mall. It has two large mounted flat screen tv's great for watching the games with friends. They sell beer, but no liquor. Has an old school feel with classic R&B playing. Our experience started off kind of shaky which almost resulted in us leaving and me deducting at least a half star. The menu is written in chalk and is a lot to digest at a glance for first time guests. My husband was trying to determine how many sides you get with a plate so he asked the lady at the register. You would think that was a common, easy question to answer, but instead she pointed at the board and didn't say a word. So he asked her again and again she just pointed at the board. He said I don't see it. Finally after another minute he was able to locate it on the board. Annoyed now, he told her that she could have just answered the question. We were finally able to place our order. He ordered the chicken with baked beans and collard greens. I ordered the two meat plate, brisket and ribs with collard greens and mac n cheese. All places come with two slices of white bread. Sauce pickles, onions and jalapeño peppers are available on the side. The portion sizes are nice for the price. My husband enjoyed his meal, but note that the chicken (leg and thigh), has a dry rub seasoning on it. My brisket was moist and tender. It is served with the fat, which I personally love. There is not a lot of bark, but it still has a light flavor. The ribs were firm and a little dryer than I would prefer them but had a nice smoked flavor. The mac n cheese was different, but I liked it ok. The greens were tender. Other than the rude young lady that took our order the experience was ok. Staff should have on name badges so that they can be identified and it would not hurt to have someone from management out on the floor to just say hi to guest and ensure that every thing is good. Our only interaction was with the rude order taker. I would probably give it another try, but if the staff is rude again, that would be my last. As soon you walk in the sweet smell of smoke hits your nose as the same time the soul music hits you. My first thought was these people HAVE to slang some serious BBQ and boy was I right! I got the 3 meat plate with Ribs, Brisket, Sausage, Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Everything down to sides tasted awesome, they really know how to season their food. COVID 19 Worry: Cashier didn't have mask covering her nose while talking to customers at front of store. I had to request that she pull it up. After at least a 6 beat pause, she did. She called the manager because I didn't have an order number. Mgr pulled her mask down below her nose to talk to cashier. I received the "Hope you have a good day, ma'am" customer service cover of which I am well aware. I've worked customer service a lot. The cashier pulled her mask below her nose as I was leaving to resume her conversation with the customers. The worry intensified and became real because I had to take care of a family member the next day. So, I will tensely ride out the next 2 weeks. COVID 101: Exhaling from the nose or mouth unprotected can spread the infection. Wearing the mask does much to prevent the spread from an infected person. Does not provide the same protection for non-infected person wearing a mask. A person may be infected and not show any signs or symptoms. No sanitizer used or in sight. Social distancing only requested after the entrance for pick up orders. Brisket dry and overpowered with smoke flavoring. Same for chicken breasts. Pork ribs and sausage all right. Much too expensive for the quality. I found another review about the cashier not wearing a mask. Apparently, this is the norm. I assume the issue has not been addressed since it was an issue one day ago. So, a health scare and unsavory, overpriced food. I will never return. read more

We went on a Saturday, maybe someone should have been off on that day, because the mindset was not on welcoming someone to your restaurant for the 1st time. Was glad to find a BBQ place with good reviews it was good to walk in and smell smoke most bbq places here in Texas use smelless wood #mesquite hate it...anyway here they use pecan best ever..the brisket is competition ready delicious the greens were good but to salty the mac n cheese is not a good cheese to pasta ratio it's more like a soup than a side dish. The ribs are not all that #I'mfromkciknowribs they are fatty and not tender. That being said I will return for the brisket it's worth the drive. read more

I had the brisket and sausage two meat plate with baked beans and potato salad. The brisket was amazing. The sausage was tender and juicy, but I have had better tasting sausage (Hutchins sausage with jalapenos). The beans were way to sweet for me though but the potato salad was good. The brisket was the best item and it ranks pretty high on favorite briskets. It was juicy, tender and smoky but not too smoky. Others I was with had ribs and said the ribs were awesome. This place knows how to make brisket!!! This was probably the best brisket I've ever had!! The meat was so juicy and the bark was thick and loaded with flavor. I've never seen bark like that on a brisket. I also got the chicken thigh and leg which was pretty good but not a standout like the brisket. For the sides I chose green beans and macaroni, they were nothing to write home about but they were good. The only thing I didn't care for were the two slices of bread. I never ate them, I just personally prefer a roll or cornbread. I'll definitely be coming back here for some great BBQ!! read more
