Was swanning around in Brentwood earlier today. Saw Winston Pies. I like pie so I went in to see the pies. They had all sorts of wondrous looking pies. Since I almost always have apple pie, I had a slice of apple pie. It was very good. Unlike many food places in Brentwood, there are chairs and tables in Winston Pies. Wish I could give Winston Pies an extra star for having places to sit and eat. The next time I am at Winston Pies I will be more adventurous and have a slice of one of the other types of pies.

A lonely spot in Brentwood. Very beautification inspired. With a swing in the inside that doesn't swing and has legs. The pie spot has limited options and on the higher end. Was it worth it, not as much but what am I going to get is key lime pie when the craving hits. The customer service was great and the young lady provided great suggestions ! The ambiance was dead and very inserted to fit an aesthetic that encourages beautification. It's good for that one time but that one time only. Forgetboutit! 4/10.

This is basically our go-to place for a NICE dessert! It's pricey at $60+ for a whole pie, but depending on the flavor, it is well worth it. I think my personal favorite is their seasonal Pumpkin Pie. I am not a fan of pumpkin pie and theirs is pretty much the only one I can eat that tastes amazing! The crispy crust and not too sweet pumpkin filling is perfection. Recently, we tried their Mother's Day Pie, which was a roasted strawberry with mascarpone. It kind of reminded me of a strawberry shortcake. The crust was kind of crumbly/soft compared to their usual crust. The filling tasted okay -- it was kind of gummy/gooey (not in a good way). We've also tried their Berry Crumble (good for a vegan option) and Pecan Pie (kind of sweet). I wish they had more seasonal flavors with fresh fruit. Regardless, this is our go-to place if we need a quick dessert that'll impress.

Love the takeout packaging for their slices! Slice portions are decent for price and quality. Tried the fall pumpkin and mixed berry crumble and both were delicious!

Stopped by Winston Pies to try some of their coffee and pies, which they sell by the slice or whole. I sampled a slice of their apple pie and their chocolate cowgirl. Apple pie ($9.25) - The crust could have have been more flakier (i.e. used more butter). The apples had a decent amount of sweetness, unfortunately the pie was served cold and taste wise found the pie to be just OK. Chocolate Cowgirl ($9.25) - This seemed more like a chocolate brownie served on top of a soft pie crust. It was pricy! Cappuccino ($5.25) - One of the worst cappuccinos I have had. It seemed extremely watered down and wasn't rich nor smooth. Overall, I was disappointed with the slow service and how long it took to get a cappuccino. I was the only customer at the time when I ordered and it took over 10 minutes. The pie slices are way over priced and didn't impress.

Winston's Pies is an amazing dessert shop! A favorite of my family. We have tried many of their pie flavors and they have all been exceptional. Favorites would be the Carolina Classic Cherry Pie and the Chocolate Cowgirl. Also, my sister tried the pecan and said that it was probably the best that she's ever had. The staff is always friendly and the setting has a nice, hometown feel to it. Did I mention the pies though?!! :). They are fantastic!!! If you are looking for a quant, nice dessert shop, with an excellent product, you absolutely can't go wrong with Winston's. Highly Recommended!!!

My husband discovered Winston Pie and knew all about this bakery. He loves both pecan and apple pies, splurged and bought both! The apple pie was pretty good, the crust actually made this pie, absolutely lip-smacking delicious. The pecan was good, very sweet but I love a good pie and savored every bite. Looking forward to my next pie adventure at Winston.

I've always passed by this pie shop and never had the time to actually try it. I was so happy to finally purchase some mini pie bites to go. We ordered the cherry pie bites, dark chocolate, and blueberry. Everything was delicious and decadent, and the inside felt very inviting / homey. Sadly, they had discontinued the peach cobbler since it is no longer in season but I will be happy to come next year to try it! I definitely recommend this little spot.

Delicious bakery! My partner and I had a craving for some amazing dessert and stumbled upon this gem of a place. As soon as we walked in, we both commented on how cozy and welcoming the place felt. While it's not a huge place, there is plenty of seating for anyone who rather sit and enjoy their dessert rather than leaving which is exactly what we decided to do. I ordered the apple pie while my partner ordered the chocolate pie. The apple pie slice I reviewed was amazing and we asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side which just packed the plate with more flavor! My partners chocolate pie was so delicious! It tasted like a smooth brownie. The consistency with the scoop of ice cream just made the dessert even better. The staff was super nice and attentive. We enjoyed the conversation we had with them and everything came out really quickly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is a lover of pie!

Burgers are the perfect vehicle to go a different direction and Ban Ban is right on course with its offerings. This place was good. A word on the service. It was on point and pretty much what you would expect. BUT We watched them go out of their way when a customer who appeared to be Neurodivergent came in and ordered. They were awesome and that kid had such a smile on his face when his burger arrived. I would give this place 6 stars if yelp would let me. Grapow Smash: Typical smash burger with a perfectly cooked egg. The resulting gooey yolk was glorious and the bun did its best till its structural integrity failed with about 2/3rds yet. The Grapow added quite a bit of heat but the sweet potato fries helped to tamp that down. The only thing that kept this burger out of the top 5 was the pickle. It simply was blown out by the onslaught of richness and the burger needed a briney element to provide balance. We are in nitpicky range here with this. This burger slides into a tie at #8 in my rankings and is the highest ranked fusion burger so far. Sweet Potato Fries: Not on the rotation currently according to reviews (lets face it I am behind in my reviews) but perfectly fried, and helped tamp down some of the heat. We went to Tasty Noodle House at around 2 pm and there was only one other customer there. We wanted to dine in. As you walk in there is a nice outdoor patio and a computer where you can order--maybe to go--I am not sure as I like the staff to take my order. We went in and wanted to sit on chairs that had some patting. We were told no, and moved to bench seating with wooden chairs on the other side. Most are like this. Now, again, there was only one customer there so I was not pleased to sit in such uncomfortable bench seating. It really hurt my back and bum. A server came and asked what we wanted, there were menus out and adverts for their special stuff. Well, what I asked for they no longer have. The next thing I asked for they no longer have. I ordered pork bums. They were awful. They had next to no pork and if I didn't know better I would think they were microwaved. They were not eatable. My husband got a meat dish that was to be spicy with broccoli. It was just okay. It was not spicy and was a very small dish. He also had Iced Tea which was watery and left untouched. The service was terrible. The server brought out my husband's dinner alone. We waited and he never appears and we had to get him and ask where is my food. Cooking he said. After at least 5 more minutes my buns came. We wanted to eat together. I told my husband to start or we would be there all day. There were at least 2 servers and not one checked on us at anytime. We finally had to get up and ask for the bill. It was so disappointing. I mean the food and the service was bad and most of the seating feels like a bus bench. We won't be back. Ever.
