On-line order fail. Sad 7 year old.
    Holly W.

First off... Shout out to Wise Guys for trying! I wrote a review in 5/18. 2 stars. I received an e-mail through Yelp on 1/21/19 offering me a $30 coupon to re-try them as they are trying to be a better establishment. Thank you for reaching out, reading my first review and inviting me to try again. Kudos on that! Plus it was very friendly. I am bothered to have to write this but to be better you need to try harder. Read the reviews and try to fix the problems. 1. In my first review I did comment on the dirty tables- they were clean this time on a Sunday night at 5pm. Kudos on that. 2. I commented last time on a lack of meat. I opened up my fathers grinder to see who's it was and his Italian sausage was sliced EXTREMELY thin and just lacked meat. I had the Bugsy. I unrolled it and there was grease along my bun. I opened it up and tiny pieces of chopped up chicken that didn't fill the roll. AGAIN... for the cost of a grinder I would rather go somewhere else and get my money's worth. (The minimum wage in RI is $10.50- Some people literally work 45 minutes to afford one of your subs- make it worth it!) 3. Last time my order was correct... this time it was in print and they got it wrong. I ordered my daughter a platter of spaghetti with sauce on the side. Not only was the sauce on the spaghetti but it was DRENCHED! We strained it and still couldn't get all the onion pieces out for her. I spent $10 on a meal that was not eaten and had to hit the drive thru on the way home and spend more money to feed her. She is 7 and said: 0 stars! Never again! She gets it. (I will post a pic of the order because I double checked to make sure I put it in the comments and I did! And a photo of the drenched spaghetti.) 4. They do have the good blue cheese so kudos on that! 5. My boyfriend ordered the Italian. DRENCHED in dressing. We have been eating healthy and he said he wasted his cheat day on sub pare food. My Bugsy- the pesto was good. We had wings as well. Nothing to rave about. 6. Clear parking signs? Says parking with an Arrow on their sign out front but is it all Massimo Valet parking? 7. It was frustrating placing the order with the code they gave me. It wouldn't go through. I had to call them to clear up the situation. Someone from the back did say hi to me when I was here assuming it was the ma who actually got my order to go through. After we ate it was clear to all four parties... next time somewhere else. Good luck Wise guys! I really do hope you improve!

Pastrami wrap . Over priced under portioned

This was a horrible first time experience I even told them it was my first time ordering and this is what they delivered. No filling at all and what was in there was dry and was a complete waste of money. Do me a favor and do not order from these people they are under portioned and over priced . Just a wide range of mediocre food. Truly disappointing

    Hair in marinara sauce

My boyfriend and I were looking for late night munchies and this was the only place that sounded good on uber eats. I couldn't really tell you how the food taste. I got through 1 garlic knot, which was hard as a rock, when I went to dip the 2nd one in the marinara sauce and pulled out the longest hair I've ever seen. I threw up in my mouth a little before I closed everything up and tossed it.

    Corn nuggets and jalapeño poppers

When working late night at a hospital we order food a lot not much is open so we try and choose the right places tonight was very disappointing wrong food, burnt food, and when you call to let them know they girl on the phone makes you feel like your wrong and wants to argue with you and with burnt food 160.00 order but won't do it again anytime soon

The space itself is interesting -- I understand the location has even been used as a filming location for a movie -- and the coffee and food we had were both quite good. What stood out, unfortunately, was the atmosphere created by the staff. During my visit the café was less than half full, but employees were very actively directing where people could and could not sit in what otherwise appeared to be open seating. At one point I watched a staff member speak sharply to a customer while waving a sign that said "No laptops at the bar." The confusing part was that the customer didn't appear to have a laptop at all. The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and awkward to witness. Taken together, the tone of the staff came across as petty and uninviting, which really undermined what could otherwise be a pleasant place to stop for coffee. The drinks and food were good, but the atmosphere made the experience feel tense. Visitors may want to keep in mind that seating and house rules seem to be enforced quite strictly.

Their sandwiches are (to steal a line) superlative! Tucked in on South Main St now down by the pedestrian bridge, you can people watch the pedestrians (usually coming & going from either financial district/Downtown or the court houses as you await your culinary masterpiece to arrive)...you won't be disappointed! There are long tables, so if you are by yourself or a small party & it is packed, you might have to share; but don't look at it as a drawback...look at it as connecting with a fellow human being(s).

The choices seem endless, but we finally selected: * Rachel * Roger Williams (hold the onions and tiger sauce) The former is a perennial favorite while the latter was a new choice. The Rachel was excellent, as usual, with tender pastrami, and nicely melted cheese. I also liked the Roger Williams which had a tasty stuffing. It was a huge sandwich, warm and nicely toasted. That said, I always prefer real turkey over the coldcut variety any day! 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.
