Its been a few years, but the memory is strong. Wiseguys does a fantastic BLT. It comes in 1 size, foit long. Too big for me so I shove it alk to one half and dig in. Plenty of bacon, even as a foot long! Crispy and cooked well. Tomato was very minimal and shredded lettuce was enough to add a fresh crunch. Online ordering was simple. Staff was friendly. The shop is open and has some indoor seating. Sparse decorations, could maybe use some flair. read more

The first time I got the #10 The Big Tony which is basically a BLT that is loaded with bacon, yum! Definitely would get again. This second time I ordered the #4 The Teflon Don and was happy with the chicken cutlets smothered in sauce, spices and cheese. We've eaten here 5-6 times now and everything is great. The salads are big, fresh and great for sharing. The pizzas have been really good. We've had the Moe Green, the butcher, Cosa Nostra, pepperoni and Paul Castellano pizzas. The crust, sauce and cheese is well balanced and not too much. The sandwiches are also great. Long day for my partner and I left us hungry and wanting food with no effort. I'd been craving pizza for awhile so, we decided to get Wise Guys take out, which is right down the road from us. Ordered small fried ravioli, a ceasar salad and penne with alfredo sauce & chicken. Along with a 16" NY style cheese pizza, with caramelized onions and ricotta, (gotta have left over pizza for the work week). While waiting for our food in the restaurant, the owner overheard us talking about the baklava and offered us to try some. He just picked up a container, some forks and handed it over with a smile! I couldn't believe it! But, when we tried it...oh, he knew what he was doing. We ended up finishing the one he gave us right there and purchased another for home. So. Good. The ravioli was very tasty. Fried just right; not greasy or chewy. The ceasar salad was fresh lettuce, freshly grated parm and croutons with a side package of dressing. We enjoyed it all but, I feel it was a touch over priced for a basic salad of 3 ingredients and a pack of dressing. You do get the option to add anchovies though and it comes with 2 garlic knots. The pasta. Oh my gods, the pasta. A pasta serving is huge and comes with 2 garlic knots. Cooked well, pasta just right and so much flavor! Unfortunately, the pizza was the let down of the show. Flavor was awesome but, crust was just too thick for me. They offer NY style and sicilian pizza. Even though we ordered NY style, it wasn't NY style. Over all- 3.5 stars really. We went for pizza but, ended up finding ourselves an amazing place to grab a weeknight pasta dinner. I love the chicken Parm grinder it's delicious. The chicken is actual chicken breast fresh battered yummy goodness. The pizza, fries and other menu are also delicious. I hope it's growing pains for a new restaurant. If not, I don't think they measure up. I drive by and the little lot is full. It's all employees. 3 little spaces for customers. I got a steak sandwich off the board, and an Italian. 20 minutes and I got 2 very light $9 sandwiches. The steak sandwich had maybe 3 or 4 ounces of very well cooked, dry steak, and almost no cheese. No dressing, no veg. Not edible. I added mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and the chewy steak and dry bread still ruined it. The Italian was average. Not full. The problem I had with it was they did not remove the plastic from the deli and there were thin slices of plastic in the sandwich. I think there were 6 or 7 employees in a small kitchen. One was cooking and the others were bouncing around. Give them time. First impression was not good. read more

My wife and I split the meatball sub, had some fries and some mozzarella sticks. Here's the break down: The sub was great, bread was toasted, meatballs and cheese were delicious. The sauce was also very good, and that's super important for a place that has pizzas, subs, and calzones, gotta have good sauce. I gave it a night to see if it gave any acid reflux but nope, good quality sauce on that sandwich. Second, the fries were very good, crispy and flakey but even with delivery (which was quick) they still held up well. The mozzarella sticks weren't anything to write home about, but they weren't bad, again the marinara sauce with them made it much better. Overall it was really good, the fella who took our order was nice, the lady delivery driver was nice and the food was good, you can tell they care about your business and that's big for me. Glad to have you in Riverside! P.s the second day they were open the in laws wanted to try it, we got two pizzas the BBQ chicken and the Margherita type. The Margherita was delicious, bbq was okay. Ordered delivery through Door Dash from this newly opened restaurant, the 4th restaurant in this location in roughly 7 years. Ordered Fish & chips, calamari and onion rings. The fish was excellent; large pieces perfectly cooked with light breading. The fries were hand cut and would have been good if crisp but they weren't, probably from being in the to-go box. The calamari was surprisingly good. Ordering calamari can be such a crap shoot; crisp or rubber. These weren't crisp but they were cooked well. The onion rings appeared to be frozen not fresh as the breading was very thick; not horrible but not the best. Looking forward to trying some more items on the menu. read more

They say they have a 12 inch sandwich in size but when I opened it there was VERY LITTLE MEAT so if you're looking for a lettuce and tomato sandwich with oil and vinegar this is the place you go . I stopped in on a whim for a late lunch yesterday, and I'm really glad I did. The place is cozy and informal. Menu is VAST - lots of interesting options for pizza, calzones, deli sandwiches, wraps, etc. I was sorely tempted by some of the more indulgent options, but that little voice saying "order healthy for a change!" convinced me to get a greek grilled chicken wrap. My wrap was delicious. The young counter staff person was prompt, helpful and cheerful, even when dealing with a high-maintenance customer who arrived shortly after me. Very good. I ordered their fish and chips and a pizza because how a restaurant does either of those items is a good indication of how good the rest of the menu will be, in my opinion. The pizza was gorgeous. Perfectly cooked, golden brown crust with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Matter of fact, when my husband was eating it he said, "This pizza is like what we used to get before we took the ferry in lower Manhattan". And that pizza was the best we've ever had. Thing is, I hadn't told him it was their NY pizza. I should have thought to take a pic, it was really beautiful. The fish and chips were excellent. Really great french fries, better than homemade. Ordered a Caesar salad for delivery that arrived with no dressing. Literally just dry lettuce and croutons. Thought it might be a fluke so we ordered again and my greek wrap shows up with completely wrong ingredients- listed on the menu as lettuce, tomato, Kalamata olive, feta, and red onion and shows up with mushrooms, sautéed onions and peppers (sopping wet by the time it showed up due to all the sautéed veggies). Ordorless, flavorless is how I prefer my vodka not a $10 sandwich. I had the "Tony Montana" IE: a Cubano sandwich lacking the Cuban part of the name. Boring, flavorless and I felt like Violet from Willy Wonka afterwards (she's the one that turns into a giant blueberry). My wife had the "Luca Brass" AKA a tuna sandwich and commented that Subway tasted better, and she doesn't like Subway. So hindsight we won't be returning.
