    Delicious 14 inch pizza
    Ramon B.

This New York style pizza was delicious. I ordered the fat guy 14 inch. You won't regret it. Service was quick. I had it delivered. They said 60 minutes. Got here in 20 minutes. I will definitely order again when visiting Boise, Idaho.

Stumbled upon this place after the BSU game last weekend. We were across the street having a celebratory losing beverage and needing a light snack before heading back to the west valley. Reminded me of a college hangout, but the pizza was actually quite tasty. We ordered three of the large slices to split between us. The crust was perfect and thin which made the snack a perfect hit for us. You can also order off the menu for full size pizzas, hoagies, burgers, Calzones, and more. We will definitely need to return and try other options!

I ordered a $13 Cobb salad and 2 slices. The "Cobb" salad had: sliced romaine, sliced tomatoes & blue cheese chunks. I'm done.

We came here after a night out at bars. We tried the pepperoni pizza and it ran out so we got a fresh slice and HOLY MOLY it was delicious! I also got their calzone which was amazing! So good I forgot to take a photo! The prices are also very affordable. We liked it so much we returned the next day but we didn't get a fresh slice and the taste definitely changed dramatically. I suggest you order a fresh pizza or wait for a fresh slice if you have the time to. The restaurant itself was very big there's a seating areas outside as well as inside. They share a restroom with the rest of the places there but we had no issue using it. (No long lines and it was very clean) I def recommend this place for a hot meal after going out bar hopping

    Stellar slice of pep $4

Had a slice of the pepperoni, $4. It was super thin, authentic NYC style pizza. I'm amazed that they can get to NYC level quality. Pricey, but top tier. Casual environment. I'd like to know if their Gluten free pizza is worthwhile for my wife.

The service is surprisingly good for a pizza place like this. The pie is there with the best of Boise's New York style.

Good lunch deal ($3.75 for a slice and soda or $6 for 2 slices). Had about 6 different pizzas to choose from. Yummy, thin crust!

Even though the restaurant was absolutely packed when I arrived, they were able to get my order ready much earlier than originally scheduled. I really appreciated them going out of their way to help me. The food was fantastic! The Honey Badger pizza was delicious, the Everynight salad was even better. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. Between the outstanding customer service and the excellent food, this place definitely earned five stars. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll absolutely be coming here again!

Yet I wanted to experience their take on Detroit pizza one last time before they lock the doors for good. Yesterday, I called to order a Detroiter pizza, my go-to pie since they opened, for takeout. The woman who answered the phone asked to put me on hold for a "short wait." Ten minutes later I was still on hold and hung up. Today, I decided to try again. I called at around the same time, 4:30 p.m., which normally has not been a busy time there before the dinner rush starts. This time, I was told to call back. What? So I went online and ordered there for pickup. I got an email back immediately, saying my order had been submitted but that it wasn't confirmed until I got a second email with my pickup time. More than an hour later, I'm still waiting for that second email. What a horrible operation they've become. Their pizza was excellent in the beginning and I didn't mind driving across town to a convenient location near the airport to pick up one of their pizzas. But as their quality slipped, I found myself going there less and less. Today's failure will be the last time I try before they close forever. All I have is the memories from better days.

Be sure to read the signs outside otherwise they won't seat you if you go through the takeout door. I saw it happen to a party of 4 who stood awkwardly in the takeout corner for about 20 minutes during peak rush. Other than that, there's plenty of table and bar seating available. We waited less than 5-10 minutes for a table of 2. The service was excellent! We were originally seated by the door, so we were getting blasted by the summer heat every time it opened. Once a table opened up away from it, our server offered to move us (and we did lol). We ordered two small pizzas, the Comet and the Idahoan. Both were delicious! We ended ordering their current special to-go, which was a BLT-style pizza. One small pizza is enough for two people but if you want to bring home leftovers, I recommend ordering two smalls! Btw, a large pizza is enough to feed four people from what we saw. Would definitely come back! Highly recommend if you're in the area or just love pizza.

Another 10 before they came back with drinks and took our order. The appetizer was a puffed up bread which was fun to eat. They brought olive oil and what tasted like vinegar to eat it with. We ate that and it was another 20 minutes before they came to the table and told us they prioritized the take out orders over ours, "But your pizzas are now in the oven." The table behind us who also ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas, were served 10 minutes before we were served. Always willing to overlook some hiccups in service if the food is good... unfortunately the food was terrible. We ordered a Don Ho and the sauce was so bland it was gross. The center of the pizza was so soft we thought, at first, it was under cooked. After looking at the bottom of the pie we could see it was cooked but we also noticed that the sauce was so watery it pooled in the center and made everything soft and gross. The margarita pizza was so overcooked the cheese was melted into the pizza and the basil leaves were wilted and yet crispy at the same time. Below is a picture of what it SHOULD have looked like, and a picture of what we got. It was so bad we actually sent it back and they said, "Well that's how we always make it." We had high hopes but after this all around lacking experience, we won't be back.

They do take reservations and I strongly recommend making them, especially for a large party, of which we saw several last night, a Saturday. Located on Orchard St near the intersection with Franklin, the building itself it just average to look at. They do have a cool mural on the south side wall depicting various gangsters: Dillinger, Lanskey, Nelson, Capone, and Seigel. As you enter, on the left there is a small bar with seating near the check in desk. There is also a separate waiting room to the right of the entrance. There are a lot of tables packed fairly close together in the dining room. Our server was Arturo. He was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable about the food, giving recommendations as to his favorite dishes and explaining in detail how the special of the night was prepared. Really, he was exceptional, especially taking care of a large group. To start, there is what I think was a rosemary bread, along with balsamic vinegar and oil to dip, which was very good. The mushrooms and the fried calimari appetizers weree great. And, all of the entrees were deemed "10/10" when we did our informal polling at the end of our visit. My wife had the scampi and I had the margherita pizza. Other entrees included lasagna, angel hair pasta with meatballs, chicken scallopini, and the "Gabriel". All of the food was delicious. Our group definitely plans to come back and enjoy another dining experience at Luciano's, in our opinion, the best Italian restaurnt in The Valley.
