Coupons got me walking to Wok Box. We tried Wok Box with a buy one get one free with a drink purchase. Luckily we came in on a Tuesday and that daily deal of the day was 20% off their most popular choices, which we were surprisingly allowed to use with our coupon - amazing deal! My boyfriend chose the Dan Dan Noodles and I ordered the Pad Thai. Then you could hear the flames go and the wok being flipped around. After about 10 minutes we were presented with our meals. I have to say if you ever had Dan Dan Noodles or Pad Thai - this is not authentic at all. The true flavours of those dishes were not present at all. My Pad Thai had more of a sweet soy sauce flavour to it and didnt have any of the traditional ingredients besides from the bean sprouts. Essentially Wok Box to me is, flame wok'd food of your choice of protein and veggies mixed with a generic sauce then placed on top of a carb of rice or noodles. If your dish is spicy, they do honour that and make it quite spicy. Depending on the dish, they seem to over saturate in sauce as well. All in all, despite the lack of traditional flavours and selling these dishes to the unbeknownst people thinking it's real asian cuisine - the protein and veggies are fresh and they do give you a decent portion for the price (with a discount or coupon). Without a deal, I probably wouldn't make this a regular place but with a good coupon I might wok back to Wok Box.

Tokyo beef poutine and bang bang shrimp

delicious food & good portions - not sure why people are complaining about the size. ordered the tokyo beef poutine and got a bowl the size of my head - same with the butter chicken poutine. it was hot and crispy and the food was flavourful without being excessively spicy. ordered with friends who got the Dan Dan and orange chicken with rice? again they were crispy and in some of the biggest bowls ive seen, full to the top and hot. got 3+ scoops of rice with the orange chicken and it was perfectly cooked and the fries are some of the best and crispiest ive had. one of my favourite places to go for food or order from skip

Thee WORST of EVERYTHING!!! I seriously do not understand how this place has not yet shut down for good. We ordered a beef dish with vegetables. Instead we got a shrimp dish and my husband has allergies to shellfish. We ordered a crispy chicken with rice, we got a soggy chicken. We ordered won ton soup- it was ok, but less than half full. If you buy 2 combo specials, you get their spring rolls, well.... they forget all of the 6 spring rolls and when we called them back after many attempts- no one picks up the phone!!!! You guys should not be in business period. We will never ever go back!

I think this place is too pricey! Really expensive. We've ordered the Spring Rolls and it wasn't that great. The only good thing about the Spring Rolls is that they were hot and crispy, but the taste was bleh! It was just salty and no flavour at all. And then we ordered the Korean Firecracker, it was terrible! The kimchi tasted like it was spoiled! Ugh... Worst experience ever. The only reason why I'm not giving them a 1 star is that the cashier and server was really nice and the place was clean too.

Service was ok and nice but food... not worth the money in my opinion. Portions were awfully small.

We came here on our way to Vancouver…read more My husband needed some quick road sustenance - and The Great Mongolian BBQ was the perfect stop. The place was clean and well maintained and the staff were efficient and quick to help us. As a customer you get to pick the ingredients that you want in your bowl. My husband selected a delicious looking assortment of ingredients, including meats, fresh vegetables, sauces, and savory noodles, and then the staff cooked it up on their iron grill. I opted for lovely hot green tea We then grabbed a cozy booth and while I sipped on my soothing tea, my husband raved about his well seasoned meal. If you're looking for a quick hearty and flavorful lunch - The Great Mongolian is a solid stop. Trust.

It is essentially a semi self-served food court experience. You go in, top up an empty bowl with thinly sliced meat, veggies, noodle, sauce and they stir fry it for you on a huge flat hotplate. All together, there are maybe 15 items you can choose from, with another 8 types of sauce you can mix and match with. I guess people go in feeling it's more of an interactive experience. With a little bit of strategy, you can squeeze in a couple more ounces of food. Food was okay. I mean the ingredients were clean.. I guess? Similar to a salad bar, or a subway, or a poke bar, there's not really any skill involved in cooking these. I even mixed in my own sauce, so they literally just had to make sure nothing was raw or burnt. The presentation after things are cooked, would be considered underwhelming. (just look at the images) For the amount of food you get, the price is fair. But would I look forward to going back there again? Probably not. I'd say a hot bowl of pho for the same price would likely be more satisfying. Food 5 Service 7 Ambiance 6 Value 6

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.

READ ITS INTERESTING REVIEW-:…read more I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 4 years, and what happened today was completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. One of the owners, Mr. Bishnu, knows me very well since I've been coming here regularly for years. A few months ago, when I tried to order a plate of noodles, I was told the wait time would be 40 minutes, so I cancelled the order. After about an hour, I called back thinking the wait might be shorter, but I was told it would now take 50 minutes. I still agreed to wait and picked up the order. At that time, I left a 1-star review because of the excessive wait time, but later I realized it might have been harsh and I deleted the review. However, what happened today completely changed my perception of this place. I went there to refer a friend for a job, because Mr. Bishnu himself had previously asked me to bring her. Instead of a normal conversation, he confronted me about that old review. During the conversation he said that if I "behave like this" I will not be welcomed at the restaurant anymore -- simply because I once left a review about slow service. The attitude was extremely egoistic and disrespectful. Even when I calmly tried to explain that this is not the way you treat a customer who has been supporting your business for years, his response was shocking. His exact words were essentially: "It's fine if you don't come. It won't make any difference to my restaurant. Even Mr Bishnu used a word " I don't care and F*ck about people" Imagine telling that to someone who has been coming here for 4 years, recommending the place to friends, and bringing new customers who also continued coming. This kind of arrogance toward loyal customers is unbelievable. A business should value feedback and long-time customers, not threaten them or dismiss them because of one honest review about service delays. After today's experience, I honestly feel disrespected and unwelcome, and I would strongly suggest other customers think twice before supporting a place where customer loyalty clearly means nothing. Mr Bishnu you lost a loyal customer to SPICE OF NEPAL & KATHMANDU BAR AND GRILLfor sure. If there are lot of other customers for you , there are lot of other restaurants around. YOU KEEP YOUR EGO, I WILL KEEP MY SELF RESPECT
