The vegan spring rolls were excellent as well. I got my order delivered, and it arrived hot and fresh, and was a healthy portion that provided leftovers for lunch the next day. I will admit I was surprised... For some reason, based on the location and branding, I was expecting this place to have less soul and flavor. But it was great! We ordered the LP wings, Mongolian beef and sesame chicken with fried rice. I found the fried rice to be underwhelming. My Mongolian beef was on the sweeter side, which was ok but I'm used to it being a little more spicy. The sesame chicken was average as well. The star of the show were the LP wings. We visited this restaurant twice during our trip, and the experiences were completely different each time. On our first visit, we were helped by a young man who provided outstanding service. He did everything he could to make us feel welcome, kept a positive attitude, and genuinely worked to ensure we were happy with our meals. If anything seemed off, he addressed it immediately and made sure it was corrected. That experience alone left such a strong impression that it's the reason we decided to return a second time--and even brought a larger group with us. Our second visit, however, was much more complicated. We had a group of five people, and while that isn't excessively large, we were surprised to see an automatic gratuity added to the bill without being informed ahead of time. Since everyone in our group was paying separately, we would have simply split into smaller checks had we known. Even after a few people in our group raised concerns and asked questions about the bill, the situation was not clearly explained or resolved in a helpful way. Another issue arose when the food arrived. There were a few items that certain people at the table could not eat or did not like. When we asked about returning or exchanging those items, our waitress said she did not want to take them back to the kitchen because she didn't want to get in trouble. As a result, we ended up paying for food that was not eaten, not taken home, and ultimately just sat on the table. I'm not sure if this was due to internal pressure about food waste or a lack of willingness to help, but it was frustrating--especially since we had paid extra for some of those items. Additionally, during the second visit, our waitress was not very familiar with the menu. A couple of people in our group had dietary restrictions, and she frequently had to go back to the kitchen to ask someone else for clarification. To be fair, she was still polite and kind throughout the experience, and all of the food came out very quickly. As for the food itself--it was excellent both times. The fried rice from our first visit was amazing. On the second visit, the glass noodles were tremendously good, and the fried chicken was spectacular--very juicy and full of flavor. Aside from the items we couldn't eat, the quality of the food was consistently impressive. Would I recommend going back? That's honestly a tough call. If the service matched our first visit, I would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation--that experience alone was a 10 out of 10 and the reason we returned. If the service mirrored our second visit, however, I would not recommend it. Ultimately, it depends on what you value most. If service is very important to you, your experience may vary. If you are primarily focused on the food, then it's worth visiting--the food is genuinely excellent. Go for the food, not the service, and hope you get a great server that day. If I were to average both visits together, I would rate the service at about 75%. If I were judging solely on the first visit, it would be 100% without question. As for the food, it earns a solid 100%, excluding the items we couldn't eat--not because they were bad, but because they were never consumed despite still being charged. I've been to Wok Chi several times and have always enjoyed the food. It's honestly one of my go-to spots, especially for their house fried rice. However, my experience today was really disappointing. I placed an order, paid, and even added a tip to my to-go order, and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. While waiting, I stepped out briefly with a friend to place another order nearby and came back within that timeframe. When I returned and asked about my food, the staff questioned me and asked if I had already picked it up which didn't make sense, because why would I be asking for it if I already had it? I was then told that another couple had taken my order because they had the same name. Apparently, when asked if both bags were theirs, they said yes -- and the cashier still handed everything over without properly verifying the receipt. That's a major oversight. If there's any uncertainty, checking the receipt or confirming order details should be standard. Now I'm left waiting an additional 10+ minutes for my food to be remade, when I specifically chose something quick because I'm on a time crunch with a paper due tonight. This situation was completely avoidable and honestly unacceptable. I really like the food here, but experiences like this make me hesitant to come back. It shouldn't be that easy for someone to walk out with another customer's order -- especially when customers are paying and tipping for service. The music was at a perfect volume as I was still able to hear my conversation, the staff was laughing and engaging with one another, and the bar seats were super comfortable. My food arrived and was super fresh. As I placed my order to go, I was excited that I could smell my food through the container. Opening my container, the visual appeal was nice. The plate was well packed and the portion size was perfect for the price point of the meal. Now... the Food! The wings were amazing. Though they were light in color, they were crispy on the outside and juicy and hot on the inside. The flavor profile of the Thai Chili sat well on the fresh wings. The sweetness wasn't too sweet and put me in the mind of a honey glaze. The chili flakes were present but not too spicy. There were some good wings. I would definitely come back for more. The rice was a bit too eggy for me. I'm accustomed to egg being in fried rice, however, the eggs overpowered the rice and pork. I recommend anything fish, you won't find a similar operation outside of this cuisine. Out of this world really. If you're choosing to dine in, there's a paid parking deck around the corner and Wok Chi validates so a nice win there. There's enough space in the restaurant for group seating but it is first come first served, no reservations here. I recommend starting with several dim sum options to get the ball rolling and pair it with a hot tea. I've been twice in two days. Found them on yelp trying to find late nite Chinese Food. They are open to midnight but at about 10:30pm they were no longer accepting online orders I got there about 11pm and the crowd inside was more like a lunch time vibe instead of 11pm munchies. I was eating the string beans by hand walking out the door. This dish comes with a side of plain fried rice or white rice. I also had an order of crab ragoons There isn't much that can be done to improve those but these are airy crispy and full of flavor. My second time I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp spring rolls and seafood lo mein. At the time I'm writing this I've eaten both spring rolls and a large portion of the lo mein. The lo mein had large scallops, shrimp and crab meat. All the seafood is plentiful, fresh and full sized pieces. Sadly all I can show of that is my empty bowl. Tried to order a side of green beans but sadly they aren't offered as a side so I went with steamed broccoli. I'm going back Sunday to try the brisket soup, so expect an updated post soon read more

This is a good late night food option. We went on a Friday looking for somewhere open late. The place was clean and they validated parking. No bells and whistle. I can't remember the last time I left a negative review but this was so bad it warranted it. If you have ever had even remotely good Asian food, do NOT ORDER from this restaurant. I asked for the least spicy option of massaman curry and it made my lips burn. My aunt, who loves spicy food, tasted it and yelped it was so spicy. Also it was the most thinned out, watery massaman curry I've ever had. There's also NO tofu or eggplant in the dish whatsoever. To be completely honest, its probably the worst massaman curry I've ever had. Also it says it's $13.50 on the menu but you HAVE to choose a protein ($4-6) so it's at least $17.50....and it's SO NOT WORTH THAT PRICE it is ridiculous. The chicken and green beans was only "ok" - the green beans were FAR too over-cooked and flavorless. The chicken was way too salty. The ratio of chicken to green bean was maybe 1:4 (overwhelmingly green bean). The side of fried ride was literally bare rice with some soy sauce in it....and yet it's $1 extra. Considering all the positive reviews I was hype to see this place pop up. General tsos tofu was so spicy it came with chili's inside and it was insanely hot, they never even asked for spice level. The scallion pancake was dripping with oil and the vegetarian dumplings were not tasty at all. I don't recommend coming here. Staff is very sweet though so that's a plus.
