2.5 Stars The food is OK but I have had better. The fried rice has a funky after taste to it. I got the Kung Pao Chicken (Not spicy at all and was lacking something that I cant pin down other than the spiciness). Tried the Orange chicken and it was lacking just a bit more of a citrus flavor...maybe more oranges? The price is fairly decent if only the food was a bit better. The reason why I didn't give this place 3 stars is because the service is CRAP. The lady that attended us seemed irritated that we were looking at the food for more than 1 min to decide what we wanted. Then, we would ask her questions and she would respond with a mumbled answer....THEN get irritated when we would tell her we did not understand. They do have a problem with giving you your total amount before you request drinks. Even though all this went on, I still said thank you after i had paid and I got no reply. You good for nothing lady learn some freakin manners and customer service skills... If I could give it - stars I would. This place looks great but the food was horrific! The BBQ pork tasted like it was a week old shoe leather doused in red tasteless sauce. The rice was old the chow mein was dry and all of the veggies were soggy. I gave it to my dogs it was so gross. Whoever does the cooking...if you can say that's cooking is terrible Anyone in their right mind will stay away from this hole. read more

While running an errand at this BRAND NEW TARGET on Lincoln and Euclid, my husband and I stumbled upon one of the best Americanized Chinese places I've been to. New, clean, and friendly service (not like most Chinese fast food joints). But more importantly, the food was GOOD!!! I ordered a one item plate with chow mein, fried rice, and orange chicken with a side of cream cheese wontons (aka crab rangoons, but these didn't have any crab in them...which i actually thought were just as good- maybe even better). My meal was a perfect combination of sweet, savory, crispy, and slightly rich from the cream cheese. Yum! That and a soda and I was set :) What I like about them also is that aside from the food they already have prepared, they also offer freshly cooked-to-order stuff that they make for you on the spot. The hubby got a Kung Pao Shrimp order that had just the right kick to it. Of course, I couldn't resist and had a few bites. I liked the diverse blend of different veggies in it. Before leaving, my husband also ordered a to-go order for lunch the next day. We got the House Special Chow Mein that had a mixture of three different meats: shrimp, pork, and chicken. The order was quite large so my husband only took half the order to work and I luckily got the other half. It kept very well overnight. A great treat for the next day. I'll be back for sure. This whole place is not good at all. I had orange chicken and house chicken. The chicken is tasteless, hard, and chewy. The house chicken was all vegetables. No meat at all. The white rice was really stale and not fresh. What a waste of $9 dollars. Also the lady serving was so pushy. I felt rushed. Will not ever be coming back here. I highly do not recommend. read more

We really enjoyed everything we got here! I like that you can see them dish out your food. Place seems clean and nice.

First off, Ive been eating here since they've opened a long time ago. Ive seen servers come and go and like any other Chinese food place they all give you different portions. The al-la-cart foods that I especially like are the orange chicken, broccoli beef, tangy tofu, egg rolls and egg flower soup. Everything else just wasn't my thing. Also, there "... fried rice" are good. The ... is because they offer it in chicken, beef, shrimp and house, which is all 3. Its always either a 2 item with the above, or a house fried rice. While I haven't tried everything off the "cook to order" menu, I'm pretty much set with my favorites. I don't like having to spend much time making up my mind, so the I can get my food faster. read more

This is another one of those run of the mill type of Chinese fastfood places. It ranks amongst panda express, and pick up stix. However it is still way better then china king and lucky china as far as in quality. Sometimes in Anaheim, you can be getting some mexi-chinese places that are complete dumps. This place is clean, well ran, and they actually follow their corporate rules. The best times to attend these places are during lunch hours and dinner hours. If you don't come here during those times, be prepared to get some cold food that has been sitting in the heat dish for quite a while. Fortunately for me, the food still tasted some what edible. I ordered a three item combo which featured Teriyaki chicken, Sesame Chicken and Mushroom Chicken. The Teriyaki out of all three failed to deliver simply because it was just too dried out, and not meaty enough. The sesame chicken was well marinated, but could've been a bit warmer. Mushroom chicken tasted well flavored, but the veggies that came along with it could be a little warmer as well. These problems can probably be solved by them re-cooking and keeping the items fresh. I would simply come to Wok Experience just to change things up from Panda. If I wanted real Chinese or Teriyaki, I would go elsewhere. Good quantity of food, for a good price. read more

Three stars for the staff being smiling, friendly, and cleanliness of location. Only reason for my visit today was because my Grandma loves this place. I don't think this place deserves all the low ratings it's getting. It's a cross between Panda Express and Hong Kong Express. Don't expect anything more I had the Orange and sesame chicken with fried rice. The batter was soft from the sauce...but I didn't mind it. If it stayed crispy, that would tell me that it's a hard and heavy batter, so I'm good with it. The chunks of white meat were good. It satisfies your craving for cheap Chinese fast food....but don't expect Pei Wei (PF Chang's). The dining area is like Panda Express...not dirty. read more

Horrible. 2 entree plate. Half rice half chow mein. Rice was very bland didn't even taste like rice that was cooked into fried rice, maybe pre-flavor brand fried rice just add water. Noodles were too soft and soggy. Orange chicken had more flour coating than flavor or chicken. BBQ pork decent enough to consume, only cause I s starving. If you want Chinese food- go to Panda Express. This was my first time here. This place was crap. I got the 2 entree plate: half chow mein and half fried rice. The chowmein was half cold and half warm and i only live 5min away, and the fried rice was dry and almost like it was boxed and made. I also got the orange chicken which was not good- basically mushy chicken with too much orange sauce and the black pepper beef which had no pepper spice to it and tasted almost slimy. I can't believe it took 1 1/2 years to find this and I just live right around the corner. This is definitely my new favorite place to go for fast chinese food. Their food is really good esp. the orange chicken and the garlic fish also the shrimp fried rice is excellent. And the price is great, only 5.49 for 2 entree meals, more than enough for 1 person because they really give a lot of food. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. My boyfriend and I stopped by The Wok Experience tonight to pick up some dinner. We got the $3.99 combo - vegetable chow mein with beef and broccoli and the hot & sour soup. The food at The Wok is very affordable and it tastes pretty good too! I absolutely love broccoli, hence the choice of beef and broccoli :) We gobbled up that dinner pretty quick! This was the 2nd time we have been there. First time wasn't that great, thought maybe it was an off day so we went back again. Same thing as last time. We went at lunch time. I'd pick Wok over Panda Express any day. Yiu can argue quality over quantitiy based on your own opinion, but i personally feel that Wok Experience has both quality and quantity. At Panda they'll give you 5 shrimp 5 pieces of chicken and a little chow mein. But at Wok, they will overfill the to go plate. I always have leftover and warm it up the next day or later for dinner. Service is good. They are very helpful. Never had a problem. read more
