I've been here several times since it's near my place. I've tried a variety of their dishes from the steam trays and a la carte menu. When you come in you get a cheery welcome. I thinks it's family owned and they are eager to please. I've recently tried the BBQ pork. When I had a sample a while ago it was too sweet and they've recently toned it down and it's on point. Love the flavor of their lemon grass chicken. Their fried rice is one of my favorites. It's not dry like most places but it needs a bit more seasoning. Their egg rolls are the best thing I've had here though. It's always crisp and delicious with plenty of filling. Their spring roll is also a must try. I've had their fried calamari and wings and it's a little under seasoned. They are oily and you basically taste more of the batter than anything. More seasoning please. I do wish they can be more generous with the portions. Each time I've gone, I can tell they want to give you less and sometimes spoon stuff out if they feel they've given you too much. Please fill the to go containers up! I think that would be my main gripe. They've just recently open and I think they are still getting the kinks out. My third time here and writing my first review. Bought 2 2 item entree to go and probably ended up with over 3 lbs of food. Their char sui is tasty and tender. They use a really good quality noodle for their fried noodles and it makes a difference. When I told them I wanted their orange chicken. The lady of the house quickly said, 'I will make you some fresh ones'. Always great service, they are starting to get some regular customers in there and you know why. And not just for take-out standards. Sat down with a party of 10 and had one of each item on their menu from the honey walnut shrimp down to the yung chow fried rice. Yummy appetizers too. We frequent this local eatery often, and have always enjoyed the friendly services and family atmosphere . During COVID we can only do take out. The food is constantly fresh, generous in portion, and packed nicely to-go. Quantity of food for the dollar and service were Quality unfortunately wasn't there, got very little meat with my order and was pretty bland on flavor. No brown rice which also seems rather strange for any restaurant in OC. Milk tea was interestingly different, need to let the ice water it down a little though or it's too sweet. I After having read about this place, we decided to give this place a try. I was surprised at how many restaurants have sprung up since I last visited the neighborhood over 10 years ago. Although you will not find much ambience here, the dishes were tasty, the shrimps were large and cooked just right, the staff were personable, and the price very reasonable. Although the rest room was clean, the appearance was marred by the supplies stored in there. It would look far better if they would install a curtain to keep them out of sight. I really like pho and since I have been working in the area, I had to try theirs. The BEST chicken pho I have ever had, seriously! The broth is really balanced and I can catch the added herbs they drop in so I now ask to hold the cilantro. The chicken is sliced, fresh breast meat. Love chatting with everyone who works there.
