Ummmmm... AMAZING!! So happy I stopped by to try this new thai spot! So freakin' good!!! Very tasty and flavorful! Did not expect to be blown away. The cashier was super helpful in helping me choose from their food options. Staff is the sweetest, they even offered to help walk me out to the car with my food since I had my baby with me. Great service, great food! I will definitely be coming back!

The food was authentic Thai food. The service was very good. They gave very good recommendations. The place was clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable and fast service.

My pork belly with noodles was a well balanced meal. Love how you get the option to include countless amounts of veggies.

Shrimp Pad Thai and ground beef kaphrao with duck egg- both delicious.

Call me basic but I will always order pad Thai when I get Thai food- and this place may just have the best one I've had in a long time. Theirs is what I imagine the pad Thai would be if I had it in the streets of BKK. Perfect balance of sweet & savory, not greasy, and they do not skimp on the portion. The restaurant itself is small but very clean and the owners are super friendly! Will def be coming back to try everything else on their menu.

Yummm. The ground beef kaphrao tasted delicious. Never had kaphrao before, but I'm a fan now! This is a little shop, but great service. Food is cooked fresh. Would come back.

I am Thai and very picky when it comes to Thai food. This place specializes in kaphrao this is a dish that we all grew up on. In Thailand this dish is more popular than Pad Thai. It is so hard to find a place that makes this authenticity and this place is it! We ordered the minced chicken and minced beef. Very tasty will be back.

Food was delicious and the serving size was quite big too. Look at the eggs in this picture. Definitely coming back again soon.

Couldn't give this place a higher rating! The owner Jacob was super kind and very nice to talk to over our meal. The inside is super clean and had great decor aswell. We got the number 1 level 2 spice, pad Thai level 2 spice, and the Pad see ew level 1 spice. Everything was FRESH and hot. The level two spice was perfect for spice lovers lol! I am amazed at the quality of food and will definitely return to try their steak pad Thai. Please come out and support them for some real Thai food!

Tried out a new Thai spot that just opened and wanted to share a quick review! Chicken Pad Thai (added shrimp): The shrimp were a 10/10 -- large pieces, cooked well, and very tasty. Unfortunately the chicken itself was not great. I'd rate the chicken about 1/5. It had very little flavor and the texture was a bit odd -- kind of slippery/almost slimy when you bite into it. They do give you a good amount of meat, but I'd personally skip the chicken next time and just stick with shrimp. The Pad Thai overall leaned more on the dry side, not super saucy, so I ended up squeezing extra lime on it which helped bring the flavors together. Spicy Basil Chicken (spice level 1): This one was good. The ground chicken had much better flavor and texture than the chicken in the Pad Thai. I ordered it with a fried egg on top and mixing the egg into the rice definitely made the dish better. Like the Pad Thai, it was also a little on the dryer side, but still enjoyable. Egg Rolls: Pretty basic egg rolls. They didn't come with a dipping sauce, so when I got home I dipped them in some sweet chili sauce and that definitely improved them. Service & Overall: The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd definitely go back again and try some of their other menu options!

    Beef Kaphrao (Basil) Fried Rice

Love the food!!! I ordered the beef kaphrao and chicken pad thai (haven't eaten this yet) but I had to leave a review. This is the best kaphrao I've had, and I will 100% be coming back if I'm ever in the area. The bowls are also a surprisingly decent size, as they fill it up with your choice of 3 veggies, your protein, rice, and an egg on top.

Moo Crispy Fried Pork Belly Kaphrao Over Rice with Fried Egg

Ordered the Moo Crispy Fried Pork Belly Kaphrao Over Rice with Fried Egg. So tasty, fresh, delicious and well-done. Would absolutely try again and will order the other bowls as well! I was in Thailand last year and this food felt as authentic as the street food style with amazingly fresh ingredients and flavor. The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming. Highly recommend this place !!

Kanok Thai Bistro was highly rated and fairly close to our hotel. We gave it the old College try. We were sat immediately as it wasn't super busy on a Friday evening. She ordered it a 2 out of 5, spice wise, and she told me that it was hotter than she anticipated. She loved it. I ordered a chicken panang mild. Mine was delicious but much spicier than I expected. So I was super excited when my friend recommended me go there for dinner. Now I had seen this place for a million years when I lived in Orange county and it had changed hands a while back. But I was so excited as it's probably one of the more beautiful restaurants that I've seen right off of Pacific Coast highway. They have valet parking in the front, and because Newport Beach is severely limited in their parking choices, it's best to take advantage of that. Walking into the place, it has a wonderful, warm inviting atmosphere. The people and servers are really helpful and very warm in the front. They definitely make good suggestions, so take advantage of their expertise. We ate a bunch of stuff. From the spring rolls, to the chicken set hey, too to Coconut milk soup to crying tiger, I was absolutely stuffed by the time dessert came around. My friend told me I had to try the Coconut ice cream, but I was leaning more towards to the Thai tea creme brulee. I said what the heck? Let's order both. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. I would give this place 10 Stars if I could but you will only allow five so let me say it here. This is definitely a 5 plus place. Bottom line? I will definitely be coming back here again. If you live anywhere near Newport Beach, you owe it to yourself to go to this place. Super delicious, super fun and very casual relaxed that experience.

Good flavor. Veggies spring rolls. This was okay. I'd prefer the regular spring rolls with meat. In all fairness, I would like to visit the restaurant in person for the actual dining-in experiment sometime. Foods always taste better dining in than take it to go.

Think cute and quaint with the expression of Thai cuisine. The dining room is on the smaller side, but embraces a cozy ambiance. If you want a little breathing room, the alternative is the outdoor patio where they offer larger tables and a spacious setting. Upon entry we were greeted and taken to the interior dining, we eventually decided that dining outside would be more to our liking and they quickly helped us relocate. Our waitress was friendly, social, and very knowledgeable. She was ready to provide descriptions of anything on the menu and expressed to us her favorites, which is helpful when you are faced with choices that all sound amazing. The menu is intentionally concise, not extensive, which we figured out once the food arrived why this was. The food has a visually captivating appeal and is even more delicious than we could have imagined. It is too bad they don't have pictures on the menu because all the food was beautiful played and a true feast for your eyes! A must try is the Thai Sausage from. The appetizers. It is cooked to perfection with a crunchy outside and tender inside, this sausage should not be passed up. Served with aromatic spice, ginger, onion, peanuts, and sprouts. Masterfully composed with the interplay of textures, just flawless! A great pairing with your meal is the Thai Tea. Typically, this is very sweet in restaurants, but they hit the mark with this harmonious blend. A plus is they have the soft chewable nugget ice! Another do not pass up is the Son-In-Law Eggs, thinly/lightly crisped exterior of a deep fried egg with heavenly caramelized tamarind glaze. Absolutely brilliant pairing with the shallots! Definitely an appetizer to remember, chef's kiss! We also had the Pork Fried Rice with subtle notes of garlic and soy, mixed with greens and onion to give bursts of color and texture. A fresh lime squeezed over the top gave it the perfect finish. My only critique here would be a slighter hand of salt for those who are watching their intake. Don't forget the Banana Pudding dessert because it is a delightful and velvety creamy custard with caramel sauce and cookie crumbles on the side, topped with whip cream. The food respects tradition, embraces refinement, and is simply exceptional. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes they offer!

Still on soft opening mode so the menu was somewhat limited. The lovely owner Bew is so sweet and we learned that several members of her family has been in the restaurant industry in SoCal for a long time (from San Diego to LA and now OC). We ordered the following: * Fish cakes for appetizer, love the sauce that came with it. * Holy Basil with Crispy Pork Belly. This was full of flavor, and really love the sauce and everything that came with it. Definitely scored high on craveability. The only request I had which I relayed to the owner is - the pork belly was a little on the tough side. I made suggestions for them to try to remedy that. * Pad Thai with Shrimp was on point. Hubs enjoyed and devoured it in no time. * Thai Tea and Green Tea were on point as well. They have desserts coming soon that we cannot wait to try. The grilled pork neck was tender and juicy and the included dipping sauce added some extra sweetness. The portion size was also good and easy to share. The Kra Prao Crispy Duck was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite thai dishes I had.
