Dumplings are the best! Dan Dan noodles had a fabulous presentation and were very tasty. Shrimp with garlic and onions was okay, but not a huge fan of the breading. Thai ice tea was very good.

This was some of the best Dan Dan noodles I have ever had; they were perfectly seasoned throughout. The spicy, crispy beef was incredible. It was such a great meal. The spices and the mix of ingredients were excellent. This place was cozy and charming. The food was ready quickly, and the portion sizes were generous. I would definitely recommend this place for a fantastic meal.

I've seen this restaurant a couple times on Atlanta Eats and I finally decided to try it out. I had BOGO Pork Dumplings, Sesame Chicken with White Rice, and Thick Noodles. My favorite were the thick Noodles and Dumplings. The Sesame Chicken was dry and tough and I had little sauce. It was really not fresh at all! I say this not to be mean but It was super chewy and tasted like it could have been leftovers. If I wasn't used to the cuisine in Seattle I may give 5 stars which many people say it's deserving off but I found it very average in taste.

My family seven came here on Christmas for dinner. We used the QR menu to order and within 10 minutes our food began arriving. We selected the pork dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, ma po tofu, Singapore rice noodles, spicy shrimp, crispy beef, and hot and sour soup. You also need to order bowls of rice separately. Food was delicious and I enjoyed the spiciness which we ordered low spicy for all the dishes. I would definitely come back! Staff was polite and efficient. They did bustling business on Christmas Day!

Food was great, but a few things to note. 1) You have to order online from a QR code when dining in. 2) They charge 10% extra to order online if you order to-go. 3) They charge you 50 cents to put things like sauces on the side instead of having them on your item 4) They do not do phone orders, so you are obligated to pay the extra 10% for advance to go orders Restaurant would be 5 Stars if it werent for these issues. So sick and tired of being nickeled and dimed by places. No excuse to up-charge to-go orders. There is no notice on their website that you are being upcharged 10% by ordering online versus going into the store. Feels a little scammy, bordering on unethical IMHO.

Gu's is a hidden gem and one of those IYKYK places. This is a quant local owned restaurant with that local feel. I'm going to make this short and brief. Just go!! There isn't one bad thing on the menu and we tried just about everything. Cold noodles, General Tsao chicken, crab Rangoon, fried rice, white rice, spring rolls, chicken dumplings, pork dumplings, crispy steak....whoaaaaa. I'd like to pause here for a moment. Crispy steak - yes, it's a thing and yes, it was amazing. Get it!! The menu is digital and your check comes to your phone so it's an easy order and pay on and out. The food comes out just as fast and is served family style. This is a small place with simple decor reminiscent of a cafeteria with the school like chairs and tables but who cares because the food is amazing. This is a local favorite with good reason and I can't recommend enough.

I love Gus and have only eaten at the krog street location. This is my first order from the Buford location and I am beyond disappointed. I had a big order, the cilantro chicken was burnt The dan dan noodles were beyond dry and my egg drop soup was either also burned/has some weird black substance at the top of it with NO chips included. $80 dollars later this order was terrible.

TLDR: okay place, get the takeout or delivery. Came on a Friday night with friends. We shared noodles, dumplings and two entrees. The food was good enough but not spectacular. Beef was a little dry; spicy chicken was good; dumplings were solid; noodles had a great sauce but was a small dish. The service was awkward: we did the little dance at the front where we didn't know if the server was bringing us to a table cause he just walked off without a word after we said how many in our party. They also ask that you use a QR code to order and pay which we didn't know until we flagged him down and he pointed to a small table sign. The food came quick but aside from that and more flagging for water, little interaction with staff. The facilities were clean but dishware was old. Our water cups were clearly cracked with one leaking. Overall the food is solid enough to try again, but pricing is a little high so may get a doordash deal for takeaway rather than eating there.

This place is really good. The Handmade Sweet and Spicy Thick Noodles are a 10/10, my favorite so far. We also tried the dumplings, the Szechuan Spicy Curry Chicken and another chicken dish that I forgot the name of but everything was good. The service was also really good. Everyone seemed friendly. Restaurant was clean.

Gu's is a place I recommend for take outs but not for a sit down experience. The inside of Gu's is pretty generic. You order and pay by QR code, and they ask you to pay and tip before you get your food, which is something I really dislike as their is no way of tipping for good or bad service, and in this case service was bad. The food came to our table in a reasonable time, but nobody checked in on us to see how we were doing, refill our drinks, and we had to flag someone to get a to go box. The food itself is good, better than your average takeout Chinese withe some distinct options, so would recommend it to go if you're willing to pay a little more for something a little different.

    Reasonably priced fab food!

Wow, just wow, absolutely fantastic, perfectly prepared, brilliantly seasoned, truly delicious food! While the Dan Dan Noodles were divine and oh so flavorful, the dumplings were the hit of the show! They were such a party in my mouth that the noodles were a disappointment for just a second until I realized they were a very different experience and so uniquely yummy themselves. Yes, a thousand times YES, I will be back but next visit, dumpling mouth party part two, I will get a full size order and one to go!

We decided to give this place a try after our friends had a wonderful experience here a few months ago. The food selection is great as it not only provides some staples you'd expect from a Szechuan restaurant, but also a couple other items. We ordered buns and their signature sweet and spicy thick noddles. So good! I like how you can pay in advance, which allows you to leave whenever you are ready instead of waiting for a check.

This place was a Recommendation from one of my local resteraunt review pages. First i quite liked the process for ordering your food. Scan your phone ,order, pay and your done. My food soon arrived after ordering. I chose smoked pork fried rice. Now to be it was bland. But a few splashes of soy sauce and it was much better. Now i dont say this to make it sound like it was a bad Experience. When ordering you are given the opion to have it made spicier. While dining you can hear some nice solf Jazz playing while dining. The portion size was quite enough for 2. They have Dan Dan noodles. So i will Definitely return.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!

The drink was really good, especially for a restaurant!! Very floral tea with fruity mango notes, it was so good I wanted another one. The mapo tofu was very rich in flavor, it had the spiciness but also held the body of the black bean flavor without being oily. So far our favorite mapo tofu in the area. The Yummy Spicy Chicken (fried cubed chicken with peppers) was the same, the crunchiness was perfect and the chicken was still moist. I do wish it had a little more spice but it was still good. The Jing Jiang pork also tasted good, but I was quite surprised with the meat quality as re-heating the next day did not have any gamey flavors. Finally the dry vegetable was also really delicious, a wide variety of vegetables with a few having a seared flavor. Would try getting the beef dry pot next time! Service was also really good, the waiters came to check on us multiple times and even wanted to reheat our dry pot.
