This place came highly recommended. We walked in the door and I was looking in a fridge. There was a dog in there with someone with a service dog harness on. My kids took a couple steps towards the dog (still about 6 feet away). The dog started barking and lunging at my kids. He was on a leash thank goodness. I yelled at my kids to come to me and yes when we got in the car I reiterated to them the important of not approaching random dogs and asking before trying to pet. I walked through the store to see what they had as I had never been there before. We walked back towards the front and I looked through other coolers they had. Making sure my kids stood by the front door as I did this. The dog started barking and freaking out again. I felt so uncomfortable and honestly worried about my kids safety that we just left. Never once did someone ask if they could help me, ask what I was looking for, maybe come up and apologize for the dog going nuts. It was just a bad experience. Let me end by saying I get every service dog has a different job and maybe protecting his owner is what his job is. But to react that aggressively and whoever was handling him sounded like they were having a hard time getting him to stop. That dog shouldn't be brought out in public. Seeing other customers walk in the dog should have been put in the back or taken out to the car or something.

It always seems to be limited staff so if you have questions or need help it may take a while. The fish department has a lot of empty tanks. The tanks are not clean and the past year has been poor quality. The have an adoption cat area that I think it awesome BUT they never have anyone back there to help if you wanted to see a cat. This could be a great store but it just seems like there is not enough staff to keep up with the size of this big store.

They have tons of feeders and food to make a santuary for your birds. One type of feeder does not fit all birds and this place is great at helping you find what your looking to create. One food is not for all birds and They know everything about all the different foods and can share their Knowledge with you. They are GREAT at helping with feeders, food and whatever birds you want to attract and nesting supplies too. My favorite is the Racoon baffler. I had always had trouble with SQUIRRELS eating up all my bird food and chewing up my nice bird feeders. I talked to them and they showed me some products that would help. Since, as I said, love thrift stores, I couldn't believe such a thing existed. So off we went. Well, when we got sent by Google Maps to the location and we arrived, we were next to a pet crematorium, not a thrift store! Our dog is 10, so I kept apologizing profusely to her! Looool. We pulled in to a tiny lot and there it was. It's a very tiny shop, decent of cheap outfits, beds, collars, leashes, toys. I ended up getting a gorgeous collar for our girl, and for only $6 it was a steal! Next time I'll try to take photos inside, but I included Sam with her collar!

They also had these mix-and-match treat bins where you can scoop different goodies by the ounce (around $1.25-$1.50), which I loved. I did ask if the treats were made in-house, and they said they're brought in (not made on-site), but still a great variety to choose from. The shop itself is small but super well put together -- they've got lick mats, little enrichment toys, collars, and even refrigerated food options. I am a disabled vet so I forgot I had an appointment because I have so many so I tried to reschedule. The lady told my wife in order for me to reschedule. I had to pay $60 so I asked her was the $60 coming out of the full amount she said no and she was very rude and hung up the phone in my wife's face. I called them after just to clarify what my wife told me so I decided not to reschedule and they took $40 out of my wife's bank account anyway. Apparently the reschedule fee should've been $40 but the lady told me 60 I don't know why, that's why I didn't reschedule because I'm not paying that much, but I thought that I would've been treated better just being a loyal customer for so long. But I will never be taking my dog back And honestly, I was never happy with my service, especially for what I've paid, but because I was so loyal to them I took my dog anyway
