The deco is nice, service is friendly, food displays nicely, but I'm not really sure about the food. If you're looking for authentic Chinese dishes, this is not the right place. However, if you are more into the look & feel, great location, then this could be the place!

Great hot and sour soup for $4 bucks rocks! The service is always quick, and employees are very attentive. It's an easy go-to when it stays open until 10pm and most all other places close at 9 or 930pm

5 out of 5 for ambience and décor! Even though it's a small space, every bit of it is well designed and utilized from the bar area to the table setup. I love the mural on the one wall, water feature up front and oriental hangings from the celling. It's absolutely beautiful. When it comes to the food, I give it a solid 4 out of 5. We ordered the egg drop soup, cream cheese wontons and Mongolian Beef. I can't say that I was blown away by any of it, but it was fine. I loved the presentation of the main dish-there was a live flower placed on the corner that just added that little extra "umph." Service was good. When we walked in, we were greeted after a minute or so and directed to a table by a young man. Then, a lady came to take our drink orders. Food came out quickly and was warm. I did make a trip to the restroom and noticed that the toilet was very dirty-likely that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. That was the only indication of anything less than clean, but it did make me uneasy. Hopefully I just got them on a bad week.

This Japanese food wasn't that bad. When you're reading the description, it sounds so delicious, but when you get the meal, it's like, Ok! The rolls are really well served, and they're good. I do recommend getting the Handcrafted Sparkling Yogurt. I think their Sparkling drinks are not sweet. Don't get lemonade; it just tasted like Minute Maid juice, too sweet.

While my boys were off skiing, I spent a day strolling around SLC's Trolley Square...shopping, of course! While there, I had a super-early lunch at this stunning, new Chinese restaurant...so I was the first and only customer there for most of my meal (YaY!)! The overall decor and ambiance was magical...and as mentioned, the place seemed squeaky clean. But then again, this place is new. Of course, as is the case with all restaurants by now, they were practicing good Covid measures, like mask wearing and social distancing. The item that immediately caught my attention was this "Triple of Won Won", which included Chicken w/ Snow Peas and Carrots, Honey Walnut Shrimps and Black Pepper Steak...plus your choice of White, Brown and Fried Rice. All this for only 16 bucks! I also ordered their Mango flavored Iced Tea, and it was also beautifully presented, in a tropical glass. More than anything, I loved the Honey Walnut Shrimps...so much better than what I anticipated! Didn't care too much for the Chicken w/ Snow Peas and Carrots, but liked the Black Pepper Steak. I just love variety, and this sure delivered on that! I only wish we could have substituted some of the meats in the "Triple". Still, I love how I got to try these items that I normally don't order on Chinese menus. Topping all this was the amazing presentation in this fancy red tray...Loved it! All such a great idea!! As if all this wasn't enough, they even gave me a complimentary dessert, Mochi Ice Cream! I actually forgot to take a pic of it, but it was a perfect ending to a great meal. BTW, the service was amazing as well. Overall, this place double "Won" me over. Totally deserved all 5 stars!

Recently ordered takeout from Won Won Kitchen and it was great! Their online system is very easy to order from, including making any modifications (like gluten free). The estimated ready time was about 45 minutes, and the food was ready when my husband went to pick it up. When he got the food home, it was piping hot and delicious. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, the Orange Chicken, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan. They were all delicious, and huge portions as well. They also make most of their entrees available as gluten free! We'll definitely return to Won Won Kitchen!

Tangerine Chicken & Family Delight. It's my dinner is what it is!!!

Highly impressed! That is the only route I can go with this. This place is very nice, pleasing decor and not an overly noisy place. Of course during these trying times it is hard for most places to be very noisy. Absolutely impressed when they brought our drinks. Well, I can easily say that I will not be needing a refill. The important part is when our food arrived. The Tangerine Chicken was the best of the two items we ordered. Though, I did like the Family Delight. Considering the check when we got it I am shocked how little new spent on a very good meal. A place to bookmark for a return.

The Triple Delight. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was the only thing that was disappointing. Way to much Mayo.
    Kyle R.

Got the pon pon chicken, lo mein, hot and sour soup, egg, drop soup, triple delight. Everything was really good. The only thing we were disappointed with was the honey walnut shrimp as it was a lot of mayo. The kids enjoyed the pon pon chicken. It wasn't too spicy for them the lo mein was perfectly seasoned. Didn't have to add a lot of soy sauce to it like with most places. Wife also got some hot sake that was good.

The food was not good. We order 8 dishes and each dish could have been better. We had a mosquito-like bug in the lemonade. (We paid for the drink.) There were things in the water. Most of our dishes didn't have serving utensils. The pan fried noodles was drenched in toppings but hardly had any noodles. The honey walnut shrimp was covered in mayonnaise and the breading tasted stale. The fried rice was bland; tasted like they threw in soy sauce and some adders to stale rice. We know it is not made to order because we were told their fried rice was pre made. All the rice... fried or brown were hard. This is an Asian restaurant, Rice is supposed to be the center of all foods. Yet is was extremely disappointing. We looked all over for Chinese food and were looking forward to dining here. Our expectations were high due to the star rating and location but were left with utter dissatisfaction.

For starters, we ordered the Wor Wonton Soup. The broth was rich and hearty. The shrimps were large and plentiful. All the vegetables blended in with the flavors. I just wish the beef was a little more tender. A little marinade in baking soda would fix this. We ordered some chicken lettuce wraps. This has minced chicken, celery, bamboo shoots, and carrots. These are good by themselves but are best with hoisin sauce. I just wish the lettuce leaves were bigger. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was also good. The sauce had a nice blend of mayo, honey and lemon. It had a little too much breading for me but still tasted good. For $16.99, I wished there was a bit more shrimp. One thing I really appreciate - they GLAZE the walnuts! This is one of the few places that I actually like the sauce and they glaze the walnuts! The Crispy Beef is definitely my favorite. In fact, I think this is better than the one I get from Red Maple. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of heat. Again, I really wish they would marinate the beef in baking soda to soften it up. The last dish we ordered was the Garlic Chicken. The server forgot to put the order in for this dish and there was a rush to get it out to us. They forgot to put garlic in this dish so wee sent it back. It was perfect when it came back. This place is fast becoming our go-to-place for Chinese Food. It's was a nice surprise and I'll can't wait to try the other dishes!

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better. The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Conveniently, we are in town for a couple days and our hotel is just right down the road. It was only right to mark this joint off my SLC food list. We came in around 5 and it was empty. My MIL and I picked a booth by the windows. I enjoy seeing the buzz of this city. It's was chaotic outside but so chill inside. It was nice to have the joint to ourselves. Jay served us tonight. He dropped off a couple menus and got some waters started for us. It was my MIL's first time trying Vietnamese cuisine. It took her a minute to breeze over the menu. As much as I wanted everything, I started off with a cup of the hot and sour soup. For dinner I got the black bean shrimp with veggies. My MIL decided on the bun thit nuong with cha gio. Last minute my MIL decided on some hot and sour soup too. They were dropped off first and it was perfect for hot soup on this cold winter day. The broth was thick and flavorful. It had hearty pieces of tofu, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. The soup had a good heat to it. The heat didn't hit you right away, it gradually got spicier the more you ate it. My mouth was burning towards the end of my bowl. It was good but it could have been a bit more sour. My plate of black bean shrimp and veggies came out hot! The veggies looked fresh and colorful. The shrimp were plump. And the sauce smelled flavorful and salty from the fermented black bean. You can tell my dish just came out fresh from the wok. The veggies and shrimp were so hot! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The zucchini, green peppers and bamboo shoots were my favorite. All the veggies were covered in sauce, probably the best way to eat your veggies. I ate the whole plate! I'm not the biggest fan of water chestnuts and I even polished those off. My dish was fantastic. Jay did a great job serving us tonight. He was patient and attentive. He checked up on us several times even though he was so busy with to go orders. The location of this joint was so convenient. Even though it was freezing out, it was cool to walk to dinner. But it's also got to know they have parking available for their guests. Jay did a great job taking care of us tonight. And the food was spot on.
