[[HIGHLIGHT]]The deco is nice, service is friendly, food displays nicely[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but I'm not really sure about the food. If you're looking for authentic Chinese dishes, this is not the right place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, if you are more into the look & feel, great location, then this could be the place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great hot and sour soup for $4 bucks rocks! The service is always quick, and employees are very attentive. It's an easy go-to when it stays open until 10pm and most all other places close at 9 or 930pm

5 out of 5 for ambience and décor! Even though it's a small space, every bit of it is well designed and utilized from the bar area to the table setup. I love the mural on the one wall, water feature up front and oriental hangings from the celling. It's absolutely beautiful. When it comes to the food, I give it a solid 4 out of 5. We ordered the egg drop soup, cream cheese wontons and Mongolian Beef. I can't say that I was blown away by any of it, but it was fine. I loved the presentation of the main dish-there was a live flower placed on the corner that just added that little extra "umph." Service was good. When we walked in, we were greeted after a minute or so and directed to a table by a young man. Then, a lady came to take our drink orders. Food came out quickly and was warm. I did make a trip to the restroom and noticed that the toilet was very dirty-likely that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. That was the only indication of anything less than clean, but it did make me uneasy. Hopefully I just got them on a bad week.

This Japanese food wasn't that bad. When you're reading the description, it sounds so delicious, but when you get the meal, it's like, Ok! The rolls are really well served, and they're good. I do recommend getting the Handcrafted Sparkling Yogurt. I think their Sparkling drinks are not sweet. Don't get lemonade; it just tasted like Minute Maid juice, too sweet.

While my boys were off skiing, I spent a day strolling around SLC's Trolley Square...shopping, of course! While there, I had a super-early lunch at this stunning, new Chinese restaurant...so I was the first and only customer there for most of my meal (YaY!)! The overall decor and ambiance was magical...and as mentioned, the place seemed squeaky clean. But then again, this place is new. Of course, as is the case with all restaurants by now, they were practicing good Covid measures, like mask wearing and social distancing. The item that immediately caught my attention was this "Triple of Won Won", which included Chicken w/ Snow Peas and Carrots, Honey Walnut Shrimps and Black Pepper Steak...plus your choice of White, Brown and Fried Rice. All this for only 16 bucks! I also ordered their Mango flavored Iced Tea, and it was also beautifully presented, in a tropical glass. More than anything, I loved the Honey Walnut Shrimps...so much better than what I anticipated! Didn't care too much for the Chicken w/ Snow Peas and Carrots, but liked the Black Pepper Steak. I just love variety, and this sure delivered on that! I only wish we could have substituted some of the meats in the "Triple". Still, I love how I got to try these items that I normally don't order on Chinese menus. Topping all this was the amazing presentation in this fancy red tray...Loved it! All such a great idea!! As if all this wasn't enough, they even gave me a complimentary dessert, Mochi Ice Cream! I actually forgot to take a pic of it, but it was a perfect ending to a great meal. BTW, the service was amazing as well. Overall, this place double "Won" me over. Totally deserved all 5 stars!

Recently ordered takeout from Won Won Kitchen and it was great! Their online system is very easy to order from, including making any modifications (like gluten free). The estimated ready time was about 45 minutes, and the food was ready when my husband went to pick it up. When he got the food home, it was piping hot and delicious. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, the Orange Chicken, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan. They were all delicious, and huge portions as well. They also make most of their entrees available as gluten free! We'll definitely return to Won Won Kitchen!

Tangerine Chicken & Family Delight. It's my dinner is what it is!!!

Highly impressed! That is the only route I can go with this. This place is very nice, pleasing decor and not an overly noisy place. Of course during these trying times it is hard for most places to be very noisy. Absolutely impressed when they brought our drinks. Well, I can easily say that I will not be needing a refill. The important part is when our food arrived. The Tangerine Chicken was the best of the two items we ordered. Though, I did like the Family Delight. Considering the check when we got it I am shocked how little new spent on a very good meal. A place to bookmark for a return.

The Triple Delight. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was the only thing that was disappointing. Way to much Mayo.
    Kyle R.

Got the pon pon chicken, lo mein, hot and sour soup, egg, drop soup, triple delight. Everything was really good. The only thing we were disappointed with was the honey walnut shrimp as it was a lot of mayo. The kids enjoyed the pon pon chicken. It wasn't too spicy for them the lo mein was perfectly seasoned. Didn't have to add a lot of soy sauce to it like with most places. Wife also got some hot sake that was good.

The food was not good. We order 8 dishes and each dish could have been better. We had a mosquito-like bug in the lemonade. (We paid for the drink.) There were things in the water. Most of our dishes didn't have serving utensils. The pan fried noodles was drenched in toppings but hardly had any noodles. The honey walnut shrimp was covered in mayonnaise and the breading tasted stale. The fried rice was bland; tasted like they threw in soy sauce and some adders to stale rice. We know it is not made to order because we were told their fried rice was pre made. All the rice... fried or brown were hard. This is an Asian restaurant, Rice is supposed to be the center of all foods. Yet is was extremely disappointing. We looked all over for Chinese food and were looking forward to dining here. Our expectations were high due to the star rating and location but were left with utter dissatisfaction.

Now that I think about it, people who showed up was not for an intimate laid back meal, it was for efficiency. Our large sashini combo was great. The mackerel and tuna tasted fresh, jello-like and octopus was different. The atlantic salmon was ok, not the best I've had, and same for the albacore tuna. Toro and uni nigiri were delicious. Agedashi tofu was average. I prefer lighter batter, but the broth was great. Overall, I would come back for the mackerel/ tuna sashimi and those toro uni nigiris.

We Googled this place and said let's give it a try. We walked in and to note we are not Caucasian. There were a few people people at the bar and ooh the looks we received as why are they here. However, the girl at the counter was pleasant to us when we walked in. We decided to sit inside since no one was at the tables and they were a few people outside, not buy at all and it was around 8:30pm We sat down the waitress, Asian lady was not rude but not friendly. No greeting, asked if we wanted water. She got the water, placed it down a little hard and that was that. We looked at each other and said oh lord, here we go. We sat for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. I mentioned it was not busy. Once we ordered it had taken another 20-25 to get our food and you CA. See below what we ordered it shouldn't have taken that long. Anywho, we received our food, then you can feel the Asian lady energy started to change for the better. She talked to us and was engaging. However, interesting experience. We ordered the following: Chicken Karaage - 5/5: This was good and the sauce that came along with it was good. I needed more for the amount of chicken that was given. Miss soup 5/5: it was good and not salty, just enough flavor. Salad 3/5: the salad was good, I should have ordered the salad dressing on the side, it was bit much on the salad. Shrimp tempura maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. Nice size cuts not too big or small. Veggie Maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. I would return if ever back in Utah.

Sapa is (probably...) a money laundering scheme and Tsunami is worlds ahead. Our experience tonight proved so. Allow to me to set the scene... We walked in after a five mile bike ride over and were seated practically immediately even though it was a Saturday evening. Our waitress, Isa I think was her name, went above and beyond in serving us. Not only did she manage to keep our waters full despite us disappearing them within the second, but she carefully listened and gave amazing suggestions. My boyfriend mentioned wanting a spicy roll and made an offhand comment about wanting habanero sauce with a roll that didn't come with it. His Tokyo Rose roll came out with habanero sauce (woot). Not only that, but the presentation on all our orders was divine. We started with a sake flight (peach, lychee, pear) and the house savi b. They were both fab and great value -- as was everything else on the menu. For starters, we got the cucumber salad and calamari. The ponzu sauce was incredible with the squid. Our entrees were two rolls: the Tokyo rose and the something tropical. Both epic in every regard. The ambiance in the restaurant should not be overlooked either. It was very Bonita. Let's dive into the food! The Hando Bowl: Delicious! Super flavorful, and every bite almost feels like a play on surf and turf. My only suggestion is to ask them to go a little lighter on the salt. They accidentally drizzled a little too much on ours, so one half of the bowl ended up noticeably saltier than the other. Besides that, the flavors were excellent. The Hand Rolls: These were interesting! Some were definitely better than others. Personally, I prefer traditional sushi rolls over hand rolls, so I think this really comes down to personal preference. If you love hand rolls, you'll probably appreciate the variety and experience more than I did. Sashimi Toro: Okay, THIS was by far the star of the entire dinner! They had fresh bluefin tuna belly that had just been shipped in and OMG. When it's fresh, IT'S FRESH! The toro practically melts in your mouth and is bursting with flavor. You're not going to find this quality at many other restaurants in the area. By the time dinner was over, I somehow found myself on my 5th order. That's how good it was! While this restaurant specializes in hand roll sushi, I would honestly come back just for the toro sashimi. Lastly, dessert: If you're a fan of crème brûlée, this will hit the spot 100%. Although, if you ate enough toro, you could probably argue that the toro itself counts as dessert. But I'll leave that decision up to you. Overall, between the food, service, and beautiful setup they have going on, this is a really nice date-night spot if you're looking for great food with a more intimate ambiance. And seriously... get the toro.

It's a very unique, strong garlic flavor with a thick broth. However, in my second visit, I became acquainted with the Spicy Kani Miso ramen... And holy *smokes,* is that a delicious ramen. The broth is deliciously miso and umami, with a lowkey seafood flavor, as though they cooked the crab in the broth. It was topped with a serving of shredded snow crab and the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu pork slice. I savored every bit of this bowl, and even drank all the broth!! The appetizers were good, the best bang for your buck being the spicy karaage--it has a good kick, crispy fry without being greasy, and unique spicy flavor. Everything else we tried (garlic edamame, takoyaki, and enoki chips) was good, but nothing special. Service was incredibly speedy and very friendly, and you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into the restaurant's design to make it feel like a genuine Japanese ramen shop with a modern twist. Do note that this restaurant is a bit pricy, but each bowl is thoughtfully crafted and the ingredients they use are the real deal. If you like ramen of a higher standard, especially when so many restaurants these days use generic ramen soup base with premade noodles and frozen appetizers, it's 100% worth the cost. I think my only complaint is that they boast about using locally-sourced ingredients, but nothing on their menu really sounds local (such as enoki, snow crab, wagyu beef, etc.).
