I had my nails done today. This was the closest place to me at the time. When I arrived at 9:30am there was 4 technicians working on 3 customers. I was asked "what you need honey" at told to "wait lil bit". Then I waited for about 20 minutes. Nancy ( I did have a really bad time trying to understand her, so I just googled what I wanted and showed her... short round tip, full set) began gluing the tips to my nails, cutting the nails to length and applying the acrylic. The acrylic was being applied very thick and very sloppy. Then she went back to her previous customer, stated she would be right back (She wasn't). About 8 minutes later Tony (another technician) asked me to move to another station and he then took over. Again I showed him the picture, he said ok and got to work. He took a long time taking all the extra acrylic out from under my nails and from the sides not to mention using the drill to file them down from the top. Once he finished it was fine. I'm glad he took over, I'm not sure if nancy does a good job... but she did start off in a hurry and using much more acrylic than needed. Also language is a big, big barrier... I feel like some of the previous reviews must have been caused by the language barrier. I did not understand anything I was being told and would have to ask them to repeat everything multiple times...I can see that some get irritated, I was not trying to be rude but I honestly did not understand. I needed to do my nails, I was passing by here and I decided to go in and try this place because it was the closest thing at the time, the place is not very clean or organized, they should pay attention to that, but the girl who served me was fine since I arrived. I got that I liked the prices also reasonable what I really didn't like is the guy I don't know if he is the owner or manager is something strange because he spent all his time answering the phone and only said pure nonsense things if he doesn't want to answer the phone it would be better because it looks bad that he does that by insulting and talking badly about the people who call and are doing their job it does not make a good impression, he also spoke badly about people from another country I felt a little racist and discriminated against Latino people and people who comes to this country from another country he looks Asian so I don't think he really knows a white man should be careful what he speaks it's not good because people can feel discriminated against for being from another country and also yells when he speaks I think He wants to get people's attention but he doesn't hear the boy is attractive so he should take advantage of that for good and attract more customers. If i could give 0 stars, i would. Worst nail job ever. Went in for a basic square shape full set and ended up leaving with a cut cuticle and nails with acrylic funk all under my nails. Literally kept telling the guy he was making it too thick, and the owners son kept going on about how the placement of the nail was after i had given the example of the nail line. At the end when they were to apply the color, they used no base and the color was super thinned out. Left without color. Pretty sure they didn't give two F*cks and still made me pay full price for BS job. Never going back and don't recommend at all. And the son admitted they didn't use the best powder either.
