Lovely breakfast this morning. They were quite busy so we waited for half hour or so. But very professional and attentive. Once we got seated, immediate attention, order placed and came in a timely manner. Loved the food. Pancakes with strawberries, Miga's with chorizo, and Eggs Benedict with a beautiful hollandaise sauce. Nice people, excellent food. We'll be back. read more

This is a tough call/ review to make. The food is great! But we recently visited in mid May and were sad to see the manager/ expediter (handling food) without a mask on. Our server said the owners give the employees the option which we respect but we would have liked to see any person handling food wearing a mask. I'm sure people will go to this restaurant because they have that option but we will not. read more

Food was great, but it's way too expensive. The bill for my family of 4 (kids are 4 and 18mos), was nearly $50 for breakfast! Kids meal prices are $6+ for breakfast each. I recognize that this place is brand new, and the owner is still working through the kinks. She had too much staff just standing around, so her overhead is too high. She's also got a whole bunch of local competition that's going to make it tough for her to compete with that menu at those kinds of prices. Ballard street is half that price and just as good. Waffle House is going to open soon as well, so she's going to need to adjust quickly to be able to compete. The staff were all super friendly, but lacked experience. The food was great, but nothing that justifies the kinds of prices that we paid. The atmosphere was pretty generic with some nice pictures of the Sachse caboose on the wall. I really do hope this place makes it though and can manage to get their pricing corrected and add some pizzaz to the place. I'd love to see a, uniquely Sachse, breakfast joint that became a community staple. read more

I'm from out of town, but was looking for somewhere to eat breakfast. Everyone from Texas always told me to not go for the big chains like IHOP/Denny's because Texas has some of the best "mom and pop" breakfast places in the country so this is why I google Woodbridge Cafe. Service was ok, but me and my wife both got different omlets. Absolutely disgusting in my humble opinion. Raw veggies were mixed in with the eggs and there was 0 let me repeat 0 salt added. Absolutely bland, no spices added. I had to dowse the food with ketchup and hot sauce just overcome the bland taste. Expected more....would recommend chain store if you're hungry and was reliable food read more

The young ladies working at the café were prompt and very attentive. My breakfast came very quickly and they were on top of their game checking in if I needed anything else. I will definitely make this a place to have breakfast the next time I am back in Dallas. Great job! read more

Speed was great for an online order but I wish someone was at the front to greet you at all times. The crepes were awesome with butter and syrup. Hashbrowns are a little bland, but the biscuits are awesome. My girlfriend didn't enjoy the "stuffed French toast" as much as she was excited for it, but overall not a bad experience. Very nice staff who have a rather unique way of taking your order, it's very relaxed and they will chat with you even of it's your first time there. They have a good selection of breakfast and lunch fare, which would satisfy even the largest appetites. (I was full until dinner after a biscuits and meat gravy breakfast) The prices are in line with what you get AKA a good value. read more

Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. Been multiple times, the place is always pretty full. They do an excellent job managing people and sitting down parties. Although a little on the small side, it does get cramped up front, especially when there is a wait. Almost efficient to a fault. They prompt you for a drink order before you even sit down. Service could not be better! Our waitress was sooooo attentive and considerate (asking before just topping off the coffee). Plenty of great reviews on here but just had to add another. It's not often that you find a place so all around good. Came by on a Saturday after soccer so it was prime time! Can't say enough about how well run this place is. The place was packed and the friendly staff was hustling getting people served and multiple to-go orders out the door. We found this place here on Yelp and thought it would be nice to try. The pictures on the menu looked so appealing, unfortunately the food was not. We ordered the chicken and waffles, corned beef hash, and buttermilk pancakes. These items came with scrambled eggs and grits. I'll start from disgusting to ehhh. The corned beef hash was horrible! Now I've never had dog food, but that corned beef hash made me feel like I did. The grits had no butter or seasoning, the pancakes were small, and the chicken had an odd after taste that left my boyfriend with an upset stomach. To top it off, we were not given any eating utensils. This was very inconvenient, since we decided to eat in our car because, we had other stops to make. We didn't come close to finishing this food. The remainders found a home in the trash. The only positive is that we didn't dine in. If you plan on dinning in, be prepared for a tight crowed space with no social distancing. We went inside of this small establishment to pick up our to go order, and was shocked by the large, packed-in crowd. This is in my opinion a risk, if you are trying to avoid becoming infected, or infecting others with Covid-19. read more

I loved how quickly we were seated although once our order was placed our waitress just sat in the corner by the soda machine on her phone and never once asked if we needed anything. Another server even brought us our food. As the hostess is whom came to us and asked if we needed anything as my order was incorrect. She fixed my order and filled our drinks. Sadly she isn't whom gets the tip. Not right. I understand with covid life is different but if I'm going to tip you, you have to at least ask if i need any sauce, more drink, if my order is right etc. Sadly half the staff looks to be high-school students whom do not know how blessed they are to be employed in 2020. Great little place that we stopped in while my car was being serviced. We received fantastic service and the food was delicious! The Russian Girlfriend had the Very Berry Crepes and loved them. I had the Mexican omelette and it was AMAZING! The chorizo was not greasy but was spicy! We will definitely return again in the future. read more

My wife and I tried the Woodbridge Cafe for lunch today and enjoyed the experience. The food was very well prepared and plentiful. I had a chicken salad croissant with fries and was pleased with the preparation. The chicken salad was very tasty on an oversized croissant. My wife had the special fried avocado and chicken salad plate for lunch and she says it was great. The avocado was lightly fried and tasty. She liked the chicken salad as well. The plate included cucumbers and tomatoes which made for a good presentation. Our granddaughter had he kids pancake and loved that with a side of fresh fruit. My wife tasted the pancake and claimed it was delicious. She recommended we go back for breakfast to try breakfast for ourselves. Service was very efficient and the food was delivered to our table quickly which is always a good thing when the 2 year old with you is hungry. We will definitely go back again. read more
