Did not not have your A game . Our food took over 40 minutes . Everything was cold. I had a side of vegetables, it did not come out with my meal. I was done eating by the time it got to me. No, sorry it took so long, no sorry everything is cold . Our Order obviously got put to the side and then discovered . I was not happy. Maybe more training or oversight is needed. read more

We stopped by for lunch and were so pleasantly surprised by the service and food. The workers in the back were singing to the music which was so fun to hear them happily singing. Server was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend the Slow Smoked Beef Brisket Po' Boy (YUM!) or the Reuben House Smoked Turkey. Both were great. Will be back in the future!! read more

Awesome! What a find in the little town of Sublimity, Oregon. From the outside it is something you might walk away from. DON'T!!! It's quaint inside. There was 4 of us and we all had something different. The BBQ pork rack was moist and tender and a lot of it. The fried oysters were perfect. I'm NOT an oyster eater, but tried one and I actually liked it. The chopped brisket was moist even though it was lean, and so good. The battered and fried shrimp were perfect too. We were there on a Sunday night and were pleasantly surprised with a Blue Grass band. It's just a group that gets together there every weekend. There were 8 or 9 of them and they were great. What an awesome place. It was a wonderful end to a perfect day. read more

I was apprehensive at having breakfast at a bar, but I was quickly proven wrong! Yummy! All of it! The coffee is strong and fresh! The stuffed strawberry French toast was to die for! The biscuits and gravy was like a southern grandma would make, the restrooms were clean and the service was great! Priced very reasonably! Will be our go to when traveling thru Oregon! Only con.. Me and three other guys rolled in here today straight off the BDR.... filthy, tired, probably dehydrated and a LOT hungry. Straight away we found generous seating for our group and accompanying gear. The server was prompt and precise. She had to deal with me ordering coffee, milk, root beer and two breakfasts--all while I was interrupting the other three guys orders. Regardless of how many things we threw at her, she nailed the order and the bill... no mistakes. And she had a fantastic & fun attitude. Then there was the food. I'm a pretty picky eater these days when it comes to a certain few items, sausage gravy being one of them. So I ordered, with some hesitancy, the chicken fried steak along with the biscuits and gravy. Damn! All was outstanding. This is among my favorites now for a good sausage gravy. The coffee was good and plentiful. The service was outstanding, the interior was clean and cool. 10/10 will go again to the wooden nickel. Gotta see how the burgers are next trip through. read more

It was enough for two people, my friend and are were glad we shared! Friendly, quick service. What a fantastic meal in Sublimity! This hidden gem is open during covid. Wear your mask, wait to be seated but come hungry! The food has always been fresh, hot, delicious and served in huge port. Only thing better than the food is the prompt, friendly and speedy service. Had some of the er best potato skin appetizers here tonight. A platter of 10 i think? After my first bite... heavenly... the rest were gone so quickly I couldn't snap a pic! Sister in law ordered the stroganoff. Brother in law the crispy chicken salad. Hubs ordered the chef salad and I had the chicken po'boy and tots. None of us could finish these huge portions of food. But we loved every bite. A special shout out to our server Ryanna. Forced to wesr a sweaty mask and try to shine in these conditions. , She was so friendly and courteous even in the face of this horrible situation. Stopped in for lunch today and ordered the chicken Cobb salad. The price was $23 that was a little pricey but then she charged me an extra six dollars for the chicken. My salad turned out to be almost $30. This will be the last time I go there very disappointed. read more

I ordered A bacon Swiss chicken sandwich, My sister ordered the Bacon avocado burger with NO pickles, And my little nephew ordered mozzarella sticks, All of witch came with Cajun fries. My sandwich was very good and nothing wrong with it except the cheese being a bit cold, My sister witch asked for no pickles got pickles, wasn't a big deal but still annoying. Also her water had a bit of food in them. My little nephews mozzarella sticks were the right temperature for him but should've been hotter for people who like there food hot. Great service and food! Especially since it was a Friday night with a big festival going on in town. The portions are large and delicious, definitely couldn't finish. Loved the fresh out of the oven bread. Our server, Krista went the extra mile to even running out the door to hand us our leftover container that we forgot on the table. We have been going here for 35 years, but tonight will be our last time.... Everyone gets busy and may forget things. Getting smart with customers when it is brought to your attention and saying "I was taking care of other people and did not have the time to get your salads" in a snarky tone is unacceptable'. She sure had time to stop at other tables and chat for excessive amounts of time while these customers were waiting on salads and then saying that is beyond maddening. She refused help from other waitresses during this time. You need more than one waitress on Friday night to ensure these things don't happen. Hopefully your business can get by without long time customers because none of us will put up with this crap! read more

This is one of the only restaurants in town so they get frequent visits. The food is ok, the drinks are too, depending on who's making them. The staff are the best! They're friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcomed every visit. I don't mind going back because I can get decent food, large portions, and friendly servers. read more
